Impressive selection of pastries, cakes and drinks both hot and cold. (Fortunately they had Diet Coke for me). Most of the offerings are self service . When you enter, you take a plate and some tongs and make your way through the display cases taking what you want. On our first visit, I had a cinnamon churro. Wonderfully flavored. My wife enjoyed her Pain au Chocolat as well. They had an approximately 5-10 minute wait for regular coffee. They asked my wife if they could make her a specialty coffee at no extra charge so she wouldn't have to wait. Very nice customer focus! It was busy during our visit but we easily found an available table. Only downside is the noise. Place is pretty noisy so unless you can tune the noise out, you eat and run. This is the type of place where I think you have to go probably a dozen or more times just to establish you favorites. So many pastries, so little time! read more

I ordered several pastries and drinks, including a Masala Chai Latte with almond milk (up charge) and a Strawberry & Cream Frappe. Unfortunately, both drink orders were incorrect. When I arrived home, I discovered the Masala Chai Latte was served as a tea bag in hot water, and the Strawberry & Cream Frappe resembled a basic strawberry smoothie rather than the advertised drink (see photos). I understand mistakes happen, so I returned to the bakery to have the orders corrected. While the staff agreed to remake the latte, they refused to correct or refund the frappe, stating that the drink is not as pictured in their advertising (so they condone false advertising?) . The barista also offered to take the uncorrected drink back WITHOUT a resolution or a refund!?? Furthermore, once the Masala Chai Latte was remade, it was watery, bland and tasteless. Sadly, while I was waiting for my Latte to be fixed, another customer was also expressing a complaint to the barista about her drink order being made incorrectly. DATE & TIME OF VISIT: July 23, 2026 @ 10:30am. They were VERY busy. Long checkout line, almost all tables were full. AMBIANCE & CLEANLINESS: Gave a cross of sterile hospital (black and white themed which I don't mind!), grocery store bakery (all the cases that are self serve), and a coffee shop, hope that makes sense. As for cleanliness was lacking on this day. Main area spaces were dirty (floors were the worst) and behind the counter (dirty floors & counters). CASHIER: The person I got was very kind (wish I could remember her name!). The blonde girl that was restocking the cases was very nice too. I would say well job staff for friendliness. FOOD: This is what we ordered.... Orange Cream Cake Slice -- Taste: very good, pieces of actual orange in it took me by surprise but a good surprise! Size: average. Price: $9.00 {overpriced} Chocolate Cloud Cake Slice -- Taste: alright, nothing special. Size: VERY SMALL (it was 2 inches wide at the widest part by 3.5 inches long, we have photos). Price: $6.50 {overpriced} Original Coffee Bun -- Taste: good, nothing special. Size: average. Price: $4.00 Crookie (cookie croissant) -- Taste: good definitely could share with someone so the sweet isn't too much. Size: average. Price: $4.50 Pain Au Chocolat -- Taste: very good, has a hint of coffee/espresso to it. We really liked this one. Size: average. Price: $3.50 Ham and Cheese Croissant -- Taste: very good, nice flakey buttery croissant complemented by the ham and cheese. We really liked this one. Size: average. Price: $4.25 Pistachio Chocolate Soft Cloud Bread -- Taste: very good, the pistachio filling is light and not too sweet complimented by the nice crunch from the pistachios. We really liked this one. Size: average. Price: $4.50 OVERALL THOUGHTS: Paid $43.20 for our family of four to share various treats. Service was great (very kind staff we dealt with). It's not a big place for seating, so you may be standing if busy. They are really busy right now with still being new and they do run out of many items fast (there were no hot pastries at 10:30am and many others gone!)!! Loud atmosphere, so please take caution if you have any family members sensitive to noise pastries we're all good but will skip the cakes next time (overpriced)! WOULD I RETURN? I've loved this place since I've visited their locations in Chicago, Troy and Novi. For a couple years I've wished that they had a closer location and my dreams came true! I've been here a couple times since they've opened and the first couple times most of the goods were sold out. However, I understand that they're simply just THAT good. I decided to go early at 9:20am today and while it was still busy, only some items were sold out. My advice is early bird gets the worm. If you want more options, go early! Other than that, the selections are not as big as the one in Chicago but still lots of great options for the sweet tooth's and the savory lovers. Half of the building has baked goods and the other half is seating but that also gets filled up fast. It does get pretty loud in the building so I wouldn't take any meetings here. The staff are friendly and working around the clock to restock all the goods. I encourage everyone to be patient and understanding because these goods are worth it! - I saw a review that said there was limited parking and that's simply not true. It's by the mall. First Impressions: The building was loud and crowded with little to no availability of parking- The customers were very pushy and rude with little to no awareness of other people. Presentation - 10/10 The presentation seem to be the thing they put a good majority of their effort into. The presentation is very elegant and subtle as most pastry shops should have displayed. I stopped into the popular and newly opened Tous les Jours bakery on a Tuesday afternoon. Upon arrival I noticed the space was very bright and open with a decent amount of seating. They had limited baked goods left at the time of my visit but I managed to pick up a chocolate almond cookie and a vanilla iced coffee. The coffee was great but I would recommend asking for more ice. The cookie was great but if crunchy texture isn't your thing this cookie might not be for you it is very crunchy. Overall the drink was good and so was the treat but I would definitely try back early in the day for more options. I can't comment on service because it is a serve yourself place and the staff interaction was minimal even at checkout that day. read more

One word. YUMMY! We tried the pistachio croissants and I was pleasantly surprised with the light pistachio cream filling. I swear, I could eat these by the spoonful. The croissant is fluffy and flaky and each of these pastries are baked fresh every day. We stopped in during a down time, which we are thankful for because people have been lined out the door for this place! The store is clean and the people are pleasant. 3 1/2 stars, but I'm rounding up. I was looking for a place to grade papers, and Tous les Jours is not it. It's loud and a bit chaotic inside, with half of the restaurant full of customers with trays and tongs perusing the pastry showcases and putting their selections on their trays before standing in a rather slow-moving line that blocks access to some of the pastries and cold sandwiches. This is, however, a place to find a large selection of freshly baked French pastries, hot or cold coffee or tea, refrigerated sandwiches, a few types of bread, and a slice of cake. I chose a plain croissant and ham and cheese croissant. The plain croissant was undercooked, basically empty on the inside, with a thick, chewy wall. Disappointing. Thankfully the ham and cheese croissant, which I got warmed up, was better, though I'd likely choose something else next time because there was a unique spice that I wasn't expecting--it wasn't bad, but wasn't what I expected or wanted. The cashier was friendly, the bathrooms clean, and there was not a table open in the place, so I was in and out as quickly as I could get through the line. The first time we attempted a visit was in late morning about a month ago and there was not much left to pick from, so we left. Went about 9 am yesterday and while there was more to choose from, there still were many empty spaces in the bins. The spinach and feta pastry was very good as was the chocolate covered croissant that my husband enjoyed. I took home a chocolate hazelnut croissant that had hardly any filling. We've been to Paris Baguette in Dallas, Chicago and Savannah, and they are way better-more delicious pastry choices, better sandwiches and drinks The Carmel Macchiato I ordered was horrible. It was like I was drinking hot water with foam. No coffee or Carmel taste. My husband watched a barista make an iced coffee drink. He heaped up a glass with ice and had a decent amount of coffee mixture to pour over it. But he only poured part of the coffee into the glass and threw the rest into the sink. So I'm sure that drink was watered down too. So from now on, we may go here for pastries but will go get our drinks at Starbucks. read more

We absolutely love this place! My favorites were the Garlic Cream Cheese Pastry and the Pain Au Chocolat. We also had the Sweet Cheese Blueberry Pastry, the Churro Twist Doughnut, and the Caramel Apple Pie. I also had the Pistachio Cloud Latte, which was amazing. They are busy, but I feel like their organization system works well to get people in and out fast. We had two babies with us and we were able to keep them calm while we waited, so not too long of a wait. All of the workers are very friendly and efficient. While it is very busy, the place is very clean. My only complaint is that we ate everything in the car cause we were excited and the Churro Twist Doughnut is very messy lol. Tous Les Jours makes me enjoy eating cake again. Even though I enjoy sweets, cake is too sweet at other places. At Tous Les Jours, their cakes are a balanced sweet and not overbearing. Husband picked up a Strawberry Gateau cake for his mom's bday. In the end she didn't eat it cuz a friend got another cake so we got it back. The Strawberry Gateau is balanced perfectly for a chocolate cake. It remained fresh since Friday! Will be ordering a Mango Cloud cake for my birthday in the future!! read more

Very excited that Tous Les Jours came to Grand Rapids as I've been to different locations in other cities. We visited on a Sunday at 10:30am. They were sold out of some things but still had a decent amount of pastries left, and staff were working hard to keep up with demand. They have a variety of sweet and savory pastries. Ranking from most enjoyable to least of what we tried this time: mango croissant, croquette, yuzu pie, spinach feta danish, almond croissant. My friend had the iced pistachio latte which she mentioned was good but quite sweet. It was fairly busy when we arrived, but it was VERY loud and quite crowded by the time we left around 11:30am. As others mentioned, definitely would recommend visiting as early as you can. Overall we enjoyed our experience and plan to come back to try more soon! read more
