First of all, I was very excited that the restaurant was going to do something like this in the small little town that we live in! This was a perfect place to have high tea. The crepes were delicious as they usually are here, but the sweets were ok with the exception of the scone being fantastic. There were a lot of great tea options but they did run out of the mango green tea one. I understand it was the first time they were doing something like this, but it's very misleading to charge customers extra because you serve a double serving on a tray and saying you can't do a single one. If you are advertising $55 a person, it should be that regardless of your partying being an odd number. It is very unfair to force people to pay an additional amount when there is space to do a single serving. This also makes the single person very uncomfortable, like a person who isn't a mother, but maybe an aunt or friend. What if you lost your mother and you wanted to have tea by yourself, you have to pay $110?! I think our waitress also misspoke when she explained the thing that we would be charged per person and then later telling us that we had to pay for the two servings because they couldn't split them. To me even if you couldn't split the tray, it seems like the thing to do on Mother's Day is to give the other setting free. It's soured my experience. read more

Today is Tuesday, April 14. My sister and I went to La Crème in Zeeland today. I would give it many more stars if I could. We were greeted with a smile by a young lady named Annabel. Her demeanor and her smile were grand. Everything was there fresh and quickly, my sister and I split a Mediterranean Escape, I had Roasted French Onion soup and my sister had the chicken. Service started off pretty rocky and we almost left because of the poor communication and how slow the service is. But if you can be patient then the food is great. So, me and my friends decided to try out this new spot, and honestly, it started off on the wrong foot. We were told it would be a quick 5-minute wait, which sounded perfect. Fast forward, and we're still standing there over 30 minutes later, watching other people get seated. Also a FULL GROWN LARGE dog that belonged to a tenant jumped on me in the waiting room. When I finally asked about the delay, the server gave me this weird answer about how we shouldn't have expected a 5-minute wait with our party size (5)! Like, what? That wasn't what we were told initially, and it felt like they were just making excuses. He also didn't apologize. Overall, the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth - and the food didn't live up to the expectations. It was very hard to cut and we were given very dull knifes. If you're planning to go with a group, maybe call ahead or just be prepared for some potentially misleading wait times. read more

This was our first time trying La Creme and I'm happy we did. I usually make homemade crepes at home but it's nice to not have to cook. All of the crepes we had were so delicious. I would definitely recommend the Bon Bon if you're looking for something sweet and the Monte Cristo is you're looking for something savory. The Monte Cristo had amazing flavors and they all came together perfectly. We also got a couple coffee drinks which were good as well. So happy to finally try this place out again! Loved it! This tiny little place has some of the best crepes around! I went in around 2 in the afternoon which is an hour before close and it seemed to be less busy. The staff was more than accommodating for me to stay in to eat or get take out whichever I preferred. The inside is very clean and has a French vibe to it. The music is relaxing and all of the staff was so sweet. Looking over the menu they seem to have expanded the sweet and savory crepes and it was difficult for me to pick. I decided on a Lavender Latte with oat milk (almond is also available for non dairy options), a mini croissant with butter, and the Mona Lisa crepe. Which is basically raspberry, cream cheese, white&dark chocolate. The presentation of everything was wonderful! I loved the whipped cream and drizzle that came on top. My lavender latte was delicious and because I didn't want to overstay my welcome with them closing at 3, I asked for a to-go cup which they happily gave me! Everything cost less than $20 today and I walked out feeling super happy and satisfied. I'll definitely be returning for one of the savory crepes next time:) Only downside to this place is the hours and the fact that they close around 3. Other than that, amazing crepes and service! It was a last minute decision to meet my friend "J" at Le Crème, as we haven't seen each other lately so we thought we try to get in at the noon hour. I got the last table and perused the drink menu while I waited. We had already talked about getting a mimosa because why not? They had a peach one that sounded interesting. As soon as "J" arrived we ordered the traditional mimosa to start. Our server was very prompt and checked in with us and was patient as we were busy chatting and not looking at the menu. I knew they did a crepe of the month because I was making a habit of hitting Le Creme with my sister, (sorry sis, I went without you this time), but the server said a pumpkin cheesecake crepe was the crepe of the month. That pretty much made my decision easy while "J" went with a blueberry lemon crepe. Wow! The texture and flavor was so good! Light, yet filling, and topped with homemade cream and I think a kind of nut sprinkled on top. It was pretty amazing, and of course I swapped bites with "J" to try hers and she wanted to try mine. She was able to save some of hers to take home, but I pretty much finished mine. It was that good! I'm looking forward to November's crepe of the month already! read more

I stopped in to check it out after a lunch down the street and was pleasantly surprised to find Boba Milk Tea on the menu. I ordered it with almond milk and lavender. It had a mocha flavoring which I wasn't expecting. The boba had the right consistency, but just barely fits through the straw. I would be willing to try again if I had a boba craving. The ambiance makes you feel like you stepped into a little French bistro, the service is exceptional, and the food... oh the food! It's a whole experience. We have had some of the savory crepes -- they do not disappoint. The salmon is my current favorite, but I'm on a mission to have them all! I still have work to do. The coffee and tea selections are really good too. I recommend the chamomile tea or the latte. I was so inspired by this place that I bought a crepe pan. It's harder than you think to make them! The ambiance was comfortable and European. They did a nice job with the whitewashed brick interior. Well dressed chefs were on display and busy crafting our crepes. when walking into this crape shop you get a strong smell of sweet warms crapes and a paris like atmosphere you get transported into a lovely location where ladies brunch meets summer date. while my whole table was in awe of the sheer amounts of flavor in each layer of the food, the service was also wonderful. our server was extremely gracious when we had to make a few changes after ordering. every worker there was truly welcoming and personable. while the food was delectable and the atmosphere was a lovely escape, what truly made this place special was the quality of service and care that was given to us during our short time there.
