On a dark desert highway, cool wind in your hair, warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air. Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light. My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim, I had to stop for a bite. I really had my heart set on breakfast so I had their amazing cinnamon roll to start. It looks larger than any two people should eat but it was so good and went so well with their fresh black coffee in a bottomless mug that I polished that off then had one of the best burgers ever. I have got to come back for breakfast one day. Don't be afraid of the way it looks, the people inside, customers and workers, are friendly and sincere. And, you can check out anytime you like.

Classic advertising coffee cups. Love it!

This place just keeps it going. It might be a tight squeeze to get to the bathroom or find a seat among the 18 seats available but the great breakfast and lunches just keep on coming. You can not come here without trying the scratch made whole wheat bread or the cinnamon rolls! The service and the community at this place is incredible, then you get the food. Wow! Don't be fooled by it's tiny building and obscure location.

The Auction House Cafe was a great find. The place doesn't look like much on the outside and it very seasoned on the inside, but what a great experience. The restaurant has 15 seats of mixed styles placed along a wrap around bar top. The kitchen is open, to the seating so you can talk with the Chef/owner Kim while she is preparing your meal. The servings are huge but full of flavor. Great discussions between the locals and all were welcoming. We ended up taking as much home as we ate. I strongly suggest the French Toast, Breakfast Scramble or the pancakes.

This was a HALF order - chock full of wonderful b'fast foods!

Not sure I can add more meaningful comments to the already glowing reports for the Auction House Restaurant.. it was EXCELLENT. Kim and her wait staff were friendly and fun. They've promised a trip o the UP for a class at my shop! The food was over the top yummy and of course the homemade bread was all it was built up to be. A definite "Return Trip" list-maker!

Great little restaurant. Not a lot of seating but food is amazing. They have homemade white and wheat bread that is delicious. I got a 1/2 order of their breakfast scramble with their homemade wheat bread. It was a lot of food for a 1/2 order but was so good. We have to come back and try their other breakfast and lunch options soon.

    Small but quaint!

Great breakfast food. Homemade breads, very large serving sizes. It reminds me of my mom's cooking. Love it!

Old fashioned-- time machine cafe. Not trying to be retro, it is literally a time capsule. Good food for the price.

For meal I got the hippie ki yay, and I enjoyed that flatbread, it is vegan. The spinach dip is also good but different than what you'd expect. It is not too creamy and has a little tangy taste. But I liked that a lot, so I enjoyed it. The ambiance is lively and energetic. There's a lot of seating available, and different types including a massive couch. It is noisy in there with everyone talking, but I dont think its too bad if you want to study there. They do have a stage where they have bands perform, they also have trivia nights. I hope to check out one of the trivia nights. There is a decent size parking lot in the back. This parking lot was filled on a Tuesday night, so its definitely a spot to go and check out.
