We spoke to staff, and they confirmed this was an issue with this batch. I left messages four times over two months for the owner, and she didn't call until today. She said that since it had been two months, she wouldn't refund the $18 we paid. We, once loyal customers, won't be back. In good conscience, we cannot support a business that doesn't respond to a customer's repeated attempts at communication to resolve a simple issue. So sad to see a business with a good product run so poorly without recognizing the importance of customer service at its heart.

Everything I've ever eaten on the menu is good... but I have a special affinity for pig 'n the blankets, banket, and any Mexican inspired breakfast item in the menu. Today I had the chorizo Benny. It was fabulous and worth the $15 imo. Our waiter, Pedro, was the best! He's worked there for over a decade and knows the family that runs this restaurant--- 3 Dutch brothers--- he gave me a run down on the lore and all the pictures are of their family photos hanging around the restaurant. I think that's pretty cool. They will be opening and expanding into a new restaurant location on the corner of River and Lakewood Blvd sometime in the near future. That location will have more of a "hipster" vibe with breakfast cocktails, etc. Check them out when you want... but if you don't want to wait come during off peak hours and off season times.
