First boba experience. Wish I could try everything!! Such a great spot with a variety of options for every palate. Unique candies that you won't find anywhere else. We got the chai, coffee and sunrise bubble teas! You can customize everything just the way you want! The staff are friendly and we even had the pleasure of meeting the owner!! Super kind and helpful! Great service. Great drinks. Will definitely be back. Place is super fun and clean. I tried the blue raspberry with strawberry boba. It was my first time trying it and it was delicious. read more

Surprising to know how close this Boba cafe was to Costco and Trader Joe's which is convenient after getting gas and shopping, makes for a quick stop for bubble tea easy. Bubble tea was reasonably priced from $5-6.25 and the size is pretty good too, but they do charge extra for toppings, Boba apparently is not included unless you ask for it. They also have options for vegans, I pretty much stick with the fruit smoothie menu which was dairy free and you can also choose the assortment of lemonades they have on menu. They also have rewards and points that you can earn towards free Boba. (Which should be standard for every bubble tea place if they want repeat customers). Cafe is clean, nice for hangout out and lounging and is located along a strip that has other restaurants. People working there were friendly and good to customers. Only draw back is the bubble tea cups have tops that have a lid with an opening on the top which my son accidentally spilled in the car and on his shoes. Typically most Boba comes with a seal top to avoid such spills. read more

We love stopping at MI Boba after soccer! The service is great! The staff is friendly and it's not overpriced!

MiBoba is a hidden treasure in the Kalamazoo area! Never knew I liked BOBA but now Incrace the yummy, beautiful and tasty treats from this place. If you like coconut and coffee...I would suggest a coconut with coffee BOBA...sooo delightful. Staff is friendly and able to suggest a drink/flavor you will love if you're new to BOBA like I am! Lots of sweet treats...gift ideas, and found some great NEeDoh merch; stop in for a quick refreshing beautiful drink, you won't be disappointed! read more

I really enjoyed their Boba. I stopped in after a hot day and loved it so much. I had to try it again now I'm addicted. I'm gonna go in and try all the different flavors because I tend to get the same thing over and over so I'm gonna go ahead and experiment . If you're looking for a great place to try this is definitely one of my top favorite places in Kalamazoo. read more

Such sweet staff working the counter last weekend! We stopped in for the first time and they were greater though with recommendations! I got the frappe with chocolate and tapioca boba: so good! My friend got the pistachio with tapioca boba: even better! And my other friend got the brown sugar tea with tapioca boba: such a classic! It was clean and they had some other treats/toys to buy. Their menu was also HUGE! read more

One of the best boba shops in Kalamazoo! I've always loved getting boba from Chocolatea, so now having a second location to order from is amazing. Love getting macarons as well read more

So their Boba (AKA bubble tea) is adequate but the other treats they sell are wonderous! I prefer my bubble tea slushed (no matter the weather) but they don't have that option. However, I bought the pumpkin spice cupcake for my friend and she texted me back and said now she dreams of the cupcake! read more

Fulfill all your cravings at MI Boba!!! It is a great local spot for your Boba fix (Taro, one of my faves, *chef's kiss* delish- the right amount of flavor and sweetness)... The seasonal Reese's flavored bubble waffle was packed with chocolate, peanut butter goodness. My kiddos fave flavors are strawberry and peach! And they're fans of both tapioca or flavored poppers. If Boba's not your jam, there's a wall of tea options, mochi ice cream, and local confections to choose from. read more

This place smells like heaven! Drinks, ice cream, desert everything is phenomenal. What I love the most about MI boba is that they can customize your boba drink to your liking. I love bubble tea but not a huge fan of very sweetened drinks. At MI boba, they add half flavor for me upon request and I love the taste of my taro boba which comes out amazing every single time. Highly recommend this place! read more

MI Boba - Taro boba milk tea - Bubble Tea Near Me - Kalamazoo, Michigan

Very tasty and excited to try more! I was so happy to find a local place that can do a matcha latte with a lavender milk cap. I also tried a couple of their macarons and they were phenomenal. The place is cute and the staff were very friendly. I will be back soon! read more

Happy that I can get quality boba in Kalamazoo. My Taro Milk Tea was sweet, just the way I like it. The staff kindly greeted my family as we walked in. Unfortunately, I didn't get a pic of the seasonal Reeses Chocolate bubble waffle because we consumed it instantly. Highly recommended if you love chocolate and peanut butter. Get it while supplies last. All I can say is, get yourself some MI Boba in your life. read more

I like this new business! The staff were nice and friendly. I tried the strawberry boba was mango stars jelly and you know what? It is now my favorite!! The strawberry is mixed with milk so you can get that creamy taste! The mango stars jelly is so sweet and chewable. The large bobba drink is for 6 dollars only! They also have bubble waffle , macroons and cupcakes. The cupcakes decorated in a cute and nice way. The macroons are $3 dollars for 1 piece, I think the macroons are pricey. I will try the bubble waffle next time! read more

Went in to a very nicely laid out ordering area. Got a smoothie which was so full of flavor and not watered down at all. Friendly staff to help you order. Also got a birthday cake macaroon which tasted really good. read more

MI Boba - Peach iced tea with mango stars, peach poppers and strawberry poppers - Bubble Tea Near Me - Kalamazoo, Michigan

Great service and selection of teas here! I ordered an iced lemon chiffon rooibos tea after dinner. One of the employees patiently took her time to let me look through the tea selection, open the tins to see and smell them, before making my selection. It was exciting to see her passion and enthusiasm for tea through the conversation. There was a really cool black tea with edible gold glitter mixed inside. According to the description when brewed, there are swirls of sparkle/gold in the tea. If it weren't so close to my bedtime I would've given this caffeinated gem a try. I can't comment on the authenticity of the bubble tea and waffles since I didn't try them, but I would definitely be back here next time I'm in Kalamazoo! read more

Atmosphere: the cafe is located conveniently at the costco plaza. Plenty of parking including accessibility. The inside is colorful and neat. Clean and organized. Service: They were nice, unfortunately had to wait an excess of 5minutes due to the cashier's lack of experience in dealing with problems... not gunna blame her for management's lack of training. The lady in front of me had issues were her payment method and the cashier didnt know what to do. Felt like i waited hours for them to solve the issue and for me to finally put my order in then wait some more for the food. Anyways... Food: got their taro bobba, not their best option... will comeback to try something different before i give a extensive food/products review. They are getting a place holder 5 star for now Overall 4.5 Food 5 (place holder) Atmosphere 4.5 Service 4 read more

Best place for boba!!! Wish you had a shop in Battle Creek! The tea is great as well as the macaroons. We have made the trip a few times now. read more

Thanks to our Yelp Ambassador, Beth @westmichiganyelp, we were able to sample some of this delicious boba and some delectable treats! This locally owned business is ready and waiting to give you an amazing experience by providing our community with refreshing drinks and amazing desserts! I failed to take pictures of all the macarons, cupcakes and other desserts available for purchase. What I was able to try was their bubble waffle with cream cap...was that ever tasty! ($6 for bubble waffle, available in different flavors ((I got the pumpkin)) and $1 for the creamy topping...that was Beth's personal suggestion) I also tried their Thai tea with regular boba. Not overly sweet, which is my preference, and refreshing. Bought my daughter their Kalamazoo cooler honey boba, made with real honey, and added brown sugar boba and honey crystals (basically a less dense boba that's vegan). Both super tasty and her little bobas were explosive with flavor. Owner was extremely pleasant and helpful (they are associated with Kalamazoo's very own Chocolatea) and had several suggestions for those of us that are usually lost upon entering any boba joints. Their menu is much easier to navigate than most boba tea places and concise. Located directly between Orangetheory and Fire House Subs. I look forward to more boba in my future! read more

We know Caitlin from Chocolatea in Portage and visited her new shop next to Costco. They have a delightful little shop with very functional and sturdy chairs and tables. The inside is clean and bright, the staff are very friendly, and it's the first time I've had Bubble Tea, Ube Mochi, and Bubble Waffles. It's all quite wonderful. Sweet, satisfying, and the little poppers in the bubble tea make for quite a pleasant surprise when they go up the straw, pop! This could be a wonderful little place to get a snack or even a light breakfast. read more

We went today as a family because ever since my boyfriend's daughter had boba tea (from another business out of town) she has been begging us to go. She had her heart set on having the exact same thing at the other place and well, there was extreme disappointment when it wasn't available here. We ended up getting her a drink that we thought she would like and while it was satisfactory, it wasn't the same. One of the employees overheard us trying to find something for her and took it upon herself to create a drink that while it wasn't the same, it was a clear winner to daughter. That employee saved the day and it was service above and beyond any expectations. Daughter even said she wanted to come back and get it again. Everyone there was so friendly and nice and everything we got was delicious! Looking forward to trying everything on the menu! read more

So Delectable. Hit all my sweet taste bud cravings. Boba was a great texture. Macrons, Creme brûlée, pumpkin spice and Caramel were excellent. Get the mad cap on the bubble waffles!! Totally worth it. I went with original and I have no regrets. read more

If you love bubble tea then you need to check this place out! Taro with tapioca is my favorite, followed closely by the pina colada with strawberry poppers. The cup of hot caramel rooibos tea was perfect on this chilly winter day today! I'm going to have to come back in to try it as a tea latte - the recommendation sounded delicious! I have loved everything I have had here so far. My favorite drink by far though has been a lychee flavored bubble tea made with boba and papaya berry herbal tea instead of the traditional black. It's hard to find places that make bubble teas with caffeine free herbal teas, and MI Boba makes a fantastic caffeine free herbal bubble tea. The wide variety of bubble options just tops it. read more

They have the best boba in Kalamazoo! The staff is always nice and friendly. They have good desserts such as macaroons, cream puffs, and cupcakes. They often have seasonal and special bobas! I suggest the Thai Tea boba! read more

I've been to MI boba only a handful of times, but every time has been unfortunately a waste of $. The customer service is poor, i've worked at a coffee/ tea place myself so when employees (on more than one occasion) say things such as "we can't do that" or act like it's a huge inconvenience when it's a matter of blending or putting no ice in a drink- i know it's just a matter of ignorance- laziness maybe? The pearls are insanely small, hard as a rock and flavorless. Not to mention a boba place with skinny soda straws... as you would assume that doesn't work. I would recommend Kung Fu Tea which is less than a mile from this place, where they let you customize drinks based on your preference without causing a fuss or denying to accommodate. read more

Amazing! I ordered the brown sugar milk tea with coffee jelly. The sweetest employees!

I've visited this shop twice since they opened and I'm sure to be back soon! So far I've tried their waffle, mochi ice cream, macaroons, and boba, all delicious and delivered with swiftness and suave. Don't not get a waffle! The staff is especially adorable and friendly. read more

Very gross, I love boba but this was not it. Tasted like a plastic candle will not go back

We did curbside today and got a Tiger Stripe Brown sugar boba and a Honeydew boba. This was my first time trying boba and it was sooooo good! The inside looked very clean and cute with lots of yummy treats! I would pick MI Boba over Starbucks any day. We used to go to Chocolatea too and that was also wonderful. Thanks to the owners for bringing such tasty treats to our part of Michigan!!! Y'all made my day :) read more

The Thai boba tasted like Milk. The boba was really chewy and the Thai tea stained my teeth orange!
