We stopped by on a recent weeknight, toward the end of chilly night for a pot of tea and a dessert! You can choose from any of their tea offerings for an in-house pot! We loved this option! They also offer single servings of all sort of teas and coffee drinks! They offer a quaint little area to enjoy your treats if you'd like to stay for a visit with a friend! There is also a nice outdoor seating area for when the weather is nice! The dessert case is truly something to behold - so many wonderful looking treats! We also saw a menu with some other food items available such as quiches or sandwiches. The staff were extremely helpful with all of our questions - very friendly and kind! Definitely recommend Chocolatea for a really nice experience that leaves you feeling like a valued customer! :)

Unfortunately, there was a line of five people that for some reason, was taking a very long time for the two employees at the cash registers to get through. Once it was my turn I learned they did not have any strawberry rhubarb pie in stock as stated on their website and there was no mention of a free piece of pie for fathers on Father's Day. I left very disappointed!

I keep coming back just for them, and I've never found anything quite like them anywhere else. Their food options are unique and always served warm when you order. I also adore that they offer tea pots when you order tea such a cozy, thoughtful detail that makes the experience feel extra special They have cute mugs and teas available for purchase, perfect for taking a little piece of the café home. Prices are similar to Starbucks, but the quality and atmosphere feel much more special. I love that they introduce seasonal drinks, right now they have a delicious mocha and a pecan drink that feel perfect for the season. They also serve chai lattes, which is very important to me wherever I go, and theirs is lovely. They even have an app that sometimes offers rewards and little perks, which is always a nice surprise. These things can happen, but it might help to encourage staff to mention this to folks who order food so expectations are clear. We also noticed there's no system to help the runner find the outdoor table where the food should go. Poor guy was not set up for success and had to walk all over the place to get the food to the right people. A system that pairs a table with a number might resolve this really easily. Food was tasty. Beers were great and we really got a laugh from the creative names y'all use. Staff we met were thoughtful and had great energy. I'd definitely recommend, but on a busy night you may have a bit of a wait for food.
