We stopped in for a morning refuel and wanted to stop in this locally supported place. We absolutely were happy with our choices. My mom always chooses the pistachio latte and I went with a chai latte. The ambience is very comfortable and we appreciate the hard workers there putting out orders. thank you so much for restoring that building and giving job opportunities to all

Nice , cool , clean, affordable. Try hot chocolate with raspberry and Carmel flavors. I only wish if they stay open after 6 pm.

I don't know how it took me so long to visit Walnut and Park. This place is beautiful and their menu is pretty legit. Understandably, there are lots of coffee shops in the area, but WP stands out as a comfortable place for a conversation and an incredible employer. They employ staff who are getting up and going after being incarcerated (their story is here https://walnutandparkcafe.com/our-story/). Overall, we had a great experience here and have already been back. A great little shop in Kzoo!

Everyone working there wears masks here! However, it's just one person working here usually. They do have contactless payment. They have some special menus for summer and I was told that it will be available until the beginning of September, at least. My fave is their outside seating area. Under the sunshine, you can sip some cold brew and catch up with friends or you can read your fave book and enjoy your day.

Sometimes simplicity is key! My partner and I walked to Walnut & Park this morning to change up our usual saturday coffee shop visits. He got his usual iced chai with oat milk & espresso to drink and a chorizo egg and cheese burrito. The chai was not overly spiced, allowing the flavor of the espresso to shine through as well. The burrito was in the smaller size but appropriate for the price. Lots of chorizo without being overpowering. I got the rose vanilla iced latte with oat milk as bf a build your own breakfast sandwich (everything bagel, sausage and egg). The latte wasn't as sweet as I was expecting but still delicious. The rose helped soften the sweetness of the vanilla. The breakfast sandwich was simple but great quality.

Stopped in to this great new coffee shop near downtown Kalamazoo. At the corner of Walnut and Park Street just south of the downtown hub. The coffee and pastries are absolutely delicious! I had the chai latte while my wife had the regular latte and both were exceptional. It's the first day and they're operating pretty good right out of the box. Congratulations I hope it's a raging success.

I loved this place so much, the location, the coffee, the atmosphere and the staff ! I had a Hot Chocolate with Hazelnut and Whipped Cream on top, it was super delicious for a decent price ! And the staff were so friendly and nice ! I just love it and I would come for it again !

Great little cafe, they have a good selection of items to eat and drink. I had the vegan burrito. It was quite good. The onions should have been chopped smaller I got about a third of an onion in one bite. It also needed spices or at least pepper, luckily I travel with my own hot sauce. Over all good, I'll go back.

Very nice area to catch up and get some coffee with friends. A lot of care was put into making this place feel welcoming. You can pick up a little something to nom on as well.

Ask the Community - Walnut & Park

It would be helpful if they'd include the breakfast menu, including prices, on yelp and the website?

What kind of pay structure is used for employees? I've been tipping but was wondering if tips are pooled?

What a super cute and delicious spot!!…read more We stumbled upon Dani's Kitchen while looking for some brunch on a Sunday afternoon. I had not noticed Dani's before so I'm so glad Yelp helped us out!! We wouldn't have thought to stop here but WHAT A GEM! Mexican for breakfast??? Yes please!! Dani's has many traditional breakfast options like pancakes/waffles, egg, breakfast meat combos, etc... but then they have a huge assortment of Mexican inspired dishes! Some that aren't breakfasty at all, others with eggs that are! The options are plentiful! We will definitely be back to try more of their menu items!! On this visit we had the "chorizo and egg" dish that comes with potatoes and refried beans. Also the "Huevos rancheros" which was crispy tostadas with eggs (runny yolk for the win!) topped with ranchero sauce, crumbly queso fresco cheese, with a side potatoes and refried beans, also 3 delicious, homemade corn tortillas! We also ordered the breakfast burrito combo, choosing egg and chorizo for the filling - this dish came with chips and queso. Everything was so good, to the very last bite!! A couple of notes: EVERYTHING had exceptional flavor and was super fresh - but the extra items were the corn tortillas and refried beans. I do not normally order corn tortillas but these were SO VERY GOOD! Most definitely homemade and it shows!! They had a thicker texture and held together really well! The beans also tasted very authentic and exceptionally delicious, even at breakfast!! The service was top notch! We walked in minutes before 2 because Yelped noted the closing time as 3pm. The door said they closed at 2 but they welcomed us in anyway saying they wanted to take care of us! So sweet!! Our waitress was so kind and helpful the entire meal, very attentive! The place was clean and well kept! All around, truly a 5 stars experience!! Check them out - I don't think you'll leave disappointed!!

600 is such a cute place for a lovely meal!…read more We have been multiple times but stopped in on a recent sunny afternoon for some lunch. 600 is so light and airy, we really love the atmosphere!! We had a really great waitress, I wish I would have gotten her name! She was doing the job of hostess and waitress to multiple tables, and doing it all very well! We ordered a chicken sandwich and a salad for our lunch entrees! Both were very good and presented very well! While the food is good and quality feels high - the price is also on the high side. For a sandwich and a salad, waters to drink, we spent over $50 for our lunch! Just something to be aware of! While we had time - the experience was not fast. Something to be aware of if needing a quick lunch. The restaurant was not overly busy but the wait was a little long to receive our order. I ordered a salmon salad - the menu nor the website specify if the salmon is wild caught or farmed. I would really love to know this information - the price would be much better reflected if it were indeed wild caught. :)

The service was on the slower side and could have used more attention to detail--coffee refills were missed, and we didn't have spoons to stir our coffee. That said, our server was kind and had a gentle, pleasant demeanor. The food overall was very good. Only one person in our group was disappointed--the chicken and waffles were described as dry, with the chicken coating lacking flavor. Everyone else enjoyed their meals, and the desserts were a standout; they were excellent and loved by all. One area that could use improvement is the upstairs bathroom. While it was well stocked with supplies, it needed cleaning. Clear signage for the upstairs restroom and perhaps a nice piece of artwork would also be welcome touches. Overall, a nice brunch experience with great desserts and room for a few improvements.
