    Lovely interior

It's been awhile since I stayed for a long visit with my mom, so I was able to explore more new (to me) businesses during the holidays. My husband and I would just grab Starbucks each morning and on one occasion, the owner's brother told us we should check out better local options and pointed us in this direction. First, I absolutely loved the location and interior. I would have stuck around to hang out, but we were always busy running errands in our limited time. So we ordered to go drip coffee and oat milk latte the few times we were able to swing by. We also tried two of their breakfast sandwiches and they were also so so good. But I have to admit that I really really like their coffee and lattes. There's a flavor/taste that I can't quite pinpoint, but it's unique. Parking was easy meter on the street and when the weather improves, I'd like to come back to visit and walk around and hang a bit more. Looking forward to trying them again on my next trip back.

This place is so cute! The vibes inside are just so welcoming. Great outlet options and lots of people can be seen doing busy work. Very clean and unique place. They have sugar free sodas for kids as options (although I was tempted to get myself one haha). The little bar gives such NY library feels and I'm in love with it. Baristas are so warm and welcoming. For a cardamom latte, you'll pay $6. The syrups are all home made and let me tell you -- I came back for 3 days straight. Very worth it! Sundays are free parking so plan around that day and you won't be paying for parking downtown.

Absolutely delicious! We came a little later in the day on a Saturday so they were out of bagels but that was okay because they were kind enough to direct my attention to a breakfast sandwich that came on regular bread that was absolutely amazing! Definitely going to try to go earlier next time and get a bagel. The inside is cool too, very spacious and modern.

Absolutely delicious. My favorite coffee in Kalamazoo by far. After coming here, I loved the coffee so much that I deleted my Starbucks app yup...it's that good.

Amazing place in downtown Kalamazoo! I read good things about this coffee shop and decided to try it out. I was not aware that the kitchen didn't open until 8 when I arrived at 7:30, but I enjoyed a delicious iced chai tea latte while I waited. However, the breakfast sandwich was definitely worth waiting for! The homemade bagel was fabulous, and the ingredients were extremely fresh. Would definitely return!

Cute coffee shop. Coffee was just okay, but the bagels and cream cheese were amazing. Staff was nice.

It's owned by a husband and wife duo and their offerings are absolutely delicious every time. Their sandwiches and pastries are my favorite. On sandwiches, the star of the show is their signature Herb Mayo (also known as crack mayo). Kathy (the owner) has been using the same tried-and-true recipe for years and it keeps people coming back... it's that good. I love the chicken club - chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato on a fresh croissant with that crack Mayo! Oh, it's so good. Pair it with one of their delicious homemade pastries and a luscious coffee or tea and it's a meal made in heaven. This place has a unique ambiance where you're surrounded by quirky art and a plentitude of thriving plants. To me, this is the perfect coffee shop and of all the ones I've ever visited in my lifetime, this one is my favorite.

The croissant was okay but the wrap was a huge disappointment. For $12 I got a 6-inch wrap that contained a lot of greens and one piece of bacon. I mean, it was tiny. Our bill for two sandwiches and no drinks was nearly $30 with the tip. Lesson learned: tip after you know what you're getting.

The parking is a bit limited around the business but fortunately has a large parking lot behind it, which is shared by other businesses. The interior is bright and clean with many windows on the roadside of the building letting in a lot of light. There was ample seating and you didn't feel crammed in at your table. There are booths as well, if that is your preference. Our waitress was friendly, prompt and efficient. We couldn't have asked for more. We were seated right away and got our food almost as fast. Time was not an issue. The food! The waffles with chicken were delicious. It was like dessert the whole time. It comes with cinnamon butter on it and some syrup, which I didn't use as the butter was sweet enough. The chicken was good but could have been just a hair bigger. That being said, I was full when done. The eggs Benedict was good with the corned beef being shredded instead of canned. All the food was delicious. It will run you a bit more than some other breakfast joints, but worth it on occasions. Our two entries with a 22% tip was just over $40. We will be back to an Anna's House in the future.
