After a couple weeks of getting coffee she remembered me and my order, and getting to have a small chat with Maliesha once a week was one of my highlights of last summer. One day in particular I was having a really bad day and week, and she gave me a bottle of concentrate that had a broken lid that she'd been saving all day to give to someone. It's so important to have businesses run by local owners who care about their community, and see their customers as people and neighbors. You don't enter through the bookstore, but rather the side. He ordered the regular drip (was delicious) and I tried their special amaretto honey latte. It was SO good. I thought it'd be overly sweet, but it was the perfect balance of sweetness so was happy with my choice. I noticed that this location also serves cocktails at night, so that's pretty interesting. If I am back in town again, will plan on checking it out.
