You don't really get to interact with staff because they are always and I mean always busy! I have been here several times and at any hour they have a wait time. This is a local snack shop that offers a variety of things like nachos, tacos, ice cream, mangonadas, elotes and so much more. So it gets busy especially with such a large menu and different combinations. There is always music playing here and lots of families enjoying their treats! They have a few tables inside as well as some outside. The parking can be very hectic but sometimes you get lucky! You can preorder food online, call it in or get it door dashed too! We dined in and some loaded hot Cheetos, a mangonada, nachos and some bubble gum ice cream as well as a champurrado. I was sticker shocked with the champurrado! A small is $6. Overall it was $36+ tax for 2 kids ice cream cones $9.38, loaded hot Cheetos $7.49, chips and cheese $5.29, mangonada $7.99 and a champurrado $5.99. Overall the food is great, but the wait is long!

I've had most of their kinds of cookies and brownies and everything is a hit and you can tell it's made with love and care. And the prices are reasonable and the booths accept venmo which is cool! Most recently I grabbed a turtle brownie which was rich and decadent but not overly sweet to the point of only being able to eat a bite or two. Great texture. You can also find their goodies at places like Horrocks and Bridge Street Market.

I'm not a huge sweets person, but I like a good soft cookie. No crispy cookies for me - and Daddy's Dough Cookies totally delivered. The cookies we had in the picnic basket were lemon cream pie which consist of two delightfully chewy and soft lemon cookies with lemon buttercream frosting sandwiched inside. The lemon flavor was so bright and summery, and the sweetness level was just right - not too sweet. My boyfriend and I both commented about how good they were, and I immediately looked to see where I could get more. Luckily enough they sell these goodies at Bridge Street Market, Fresh Thyme, and Horrocks here locally. They also sell them online so I bought two of EVERY FLAVOR. Then we happened to find them at one of the last days of the Urban City Cafe and got the birthday cake flavor. Guess what, amazingly good. The cookies are so interesting, they seem like they are an oatmeal type cookie somehow and the texture is just so, so good. I hope they can continue to grow and get into other stores locally. We certainly have been talking them up! If you like a good soft sandwich cookie situation, definitely check out Daddy's Dough. They also have non-sandwich cookie options, cookie making kits, and vegan options online.

Luckily for us, we were able to get a table right away. Don't sleep on this place! We got a delicious and filling meal for about $30! The menu has changed a bit since they first opened in 2023 with more options for entrees. We ordered the yuca, chorizo, and beef and potato empanadas to share. I'd love to come back to try the steak and other options. Our food came out quickly and everything was super hot and fresh. Their yuca is the best I've ever had - super crispy on the outside and perfectly salted, and not dry inside. I do recommend eating the yuca before it gets too cold, it's best when it's freshly fried! I loved the empanadas with the tender shredded beef and soft potatoes inside. The included hot sauce gave them the perfect kick. The chorizo was a great side to add some more protein, and it was flavorful and not too dry. I think it came with an arepa on the side, which was surprisingly delicious! The vibe inside is cute and has a cafe feel, and I can't wait to come back to try more of their menu. I did ask if the salchipapas were still on the menu because I didn't notice it listed, and was assured they still make this dish! That was my favorite last time, so I'm looking forward to getting that one again too. We're lucky to have this special spot right downtown, so hopefully more people will check it out.

We had a basket of empanadas (pollo y arroz & pollo y papas) and couldn't decide which was tastier! The salsa is a nice accompaniment for both and it has a slight kick, giving the dish a little spice. The staff were all friendly, the place is clean, and I'd definitely recommend to folks in GR!

They have chocolates, bon bons, gelato, coffee drinks, and more. We ordered two of the cookie sandwiches, which we were told are made daily by a local pastry chef. The blueberry cookie was my favorite - it was soft and full of blueberries. The passionfruit one wasn't as flavorful. The buttercream frosting was super sweet, so we probably could have split one and been happy. I love that they have gelato flights! I didn't see any pricing posted for the treats when we visited, but the total was just over $10 for the two cookie sandwiches. They are handmade (vs. frozen and shipped in) so that makes sense. The employee helping us was super sweet and friendly, which I appreciated. The space is cute with ample seating to enjoy your treats, and they have an Instagrammable photo wall. I don't have a huge sweet tooth, so I don't see myself coming here too often, but it's a nice spot for a date or dessert.
