Walked over to get some ramen before catching a movie on a week night. The place was suspiciously empty while the place next door was busy. Walked inside and was greeted by the nice receptionist but no irasshaimase. As my sneakers pealed off the floor with each step; I finally made it to our seats. Then worked my way to scrap the menu off the table. The price is average; but I didn't find it all that flavorful. I think you can get better ramen else where for the same price. However it was convenient. Advice to management is to clean the restaurant. It is a sign to clean the restaurant if the menus and floors are sticky.

Very clean and quiet atmosphere for some warm ramen! Located in a beautiful plaza with lots of shopping around- parking is hard to find on the street though during the holidays, so you'll have to park in the garage! Pork belly was tender with the broth and extremely tasty, however the ramen wasn't cooked enough even after sitting in the hot broth and the pulled pork was a bit tastleless. It was an okay ramen, but nothing too special. Our waiter was very quick and attentive though!

Decent ramen, affordable pricing and a cozy atmosphere. The service was great, the food was good however the chicken was a little chewy, it tasted like they refried old chicken. Overall it was a good dining experience and I would definitely go back!

I got the spicy ramen with pork. Noodles were good and broth is ok. The pork was rough w/ no flavor. Would not go back unless if I was really really craven Ramen or getting something. Fried Gyoza was only about 3 stars. Average

I'll be completely honest, I was very skeptical about this place because it was so close to my apartment. It only took me two years to try it. I'm glad we did lol now that winter is here, ramen and hotpot is the best meals to enjoy for dinner. We decided to come here last night around 5-6pm. Luckily when we got there, there was a few tables available. 10 mins went by, there was a wait building up lol we were greeted, seated, and fed very promptly. The service and atmosphere was chill. I love the vibes there. FOOD - fried squid is a must!!! 10/10 for $11, the portion was good for two people. The spicy Mayo that came along for the dipping, was so good... the squid was perfectly fried. - we both got the spicy ramen. She added a boiled egg and spicy bamboo shoots. I added corn and spicy bamboo shoots. For $20, the portion was so much. I almost didn't finish it. The broth was rich and spicy. Be warned! Spice level was probably 6-7/10 for normal people. It was perfect for me. Highly recommend this place!

We came at night. We got Spicy Paitana curry ramen. The curry ramen was watery and underwhelming. The Char siu was good. The spicy Paitana was really spicy. The noodles were thin. Overall, probably won't come back . Service was fine. It was really dark inside

Great service! Love their broth, but it was a little more peppery this time than I remember.

I've been to a bunch of places and tried all types of ramen noodles, but this place right here has it on lock! Freshly made noodles with freshly ingredients and most importantly, the broth is what makes this Rahman place delicious they also have other food items on the menu, which are all good so you can't go wrong. So if in the Boston area they have three locations and it's worth the drive.

A good location base on the surrounding stores in the area. First impression on the ramen (Spicy Paitan) that I had, the Char-siu meat was thicker than your usual ramen sized meat portion with good tenderness and flavor 3 starts for that. The taste of THE BROTH did not excite me as much besides the fact that my order came out in less than 5 mins. It was garlicky than spicy and lacked a sense of flavor richness. I would consider it as one of those ramen broth that you don't sip all the way to the bottom of the bowl. If you wanted a ramen and made fast, this would be the place. I don't think there was any thought to making the soup which they only added 2 types of condiments 1. Bean Sprouts 2. Scallion. The rest you have to purchase a la carte. I would suggest to include a sense of authenticity by adding some of the usual garnish to make it look appealing than the inexpensive garnish. I would rate this as 3/5 only for the meat and quick made to deliver ramen if you're hungry and need a quick fix.

Great place to grab some food if you're in the area. Items ordered (as of 8/2021). - Char Siu Pork Bun - Very tender and fatty piece of pork belly! Great flavor and I would definitely recommend this. - Takoyaki - Good takoyaki. I can't say if this is the best I've ever had but if you have a craving for it you won't be disappointed (assuming you're not coming here straight from Japan...). - Mega Ramen - Extra large portion of the Paitan ramen. They aren't kidding when they say "Mega"! I was able to finish it but had one of those "I probably shouldn't have done that" feelings. Broth could use a bit more flavor but the noodles were cooked perfectly and the pork had a lot of tenderness and flavor to it. Unless you are starving I'd recommend getting the normal sized Paitan ramen!

Decent bowls of ramen. Flavorful and plentiful of meats/ topping. Ample amounts of noodles. However, was too oily on my opinion.

I am so excited to have found this place! I was first interested by the beautiful mural on the building. The fun and funky atmosphere continued to the inside, though that miracle is still a work in progress. Our pork bun appetizer was delicious. I had never had one before but the fluffiness of the bun + melt in your mouth mess of the pork has me constantly craving more. Ramen was flavorful and came in a really large portion. I only wish the menu had more options because I know those creations would be delicious as well. Our server was lovely, attentive, and speedy! Will definitely be back.

Conveniently located in South Bay. Always love to get the spicy ramen. Food comes out fast and staff is nice. Usually doesn't get too busy

It was adequately busy but still had seats open. The lunch menu is very affordable! If you can, I'd highly recommend going for lunch instead of dinner. Service was really quick! The second time I went back, I ordered take out so I could eat it at the airport for dinner. I ordered the Sake Maguro Hamachi don, added ikura and negitoro. Again, so impressed with the quality of the fish and the size of it. They didn't skimp out and really enjoyed the thickness of the sashimi despite it only being 3 pieces. When we walked into Legal, the place was dead, the music was awful, and the vibe was just not there. So we sat at the bar and grabbed a drink while searching for a place to get an actual dinner where we could find last-minute reservations. Shojo in Chinatown came up with great reviews and after looking at the menu and seeing that we could get a reservation, we headed over. It was a short walk from the Ritz and Chinatown is just such a fun place with great energy. When we walked in, we knew we had made the right call and were easily able to switch our reservation from a table to bar seats, which is always an added bonus. The place is low lit and the music is on the louder side, but nothing was excessive to the point that we didn't enjoy our time there. We ordered a variety of drinks while there - a Toki Highball draft, a spicy tequila drink with lemongrass, a few different types of Japanese whiskeys as well (they have a really extensive list). As far as food goes, they categorize their menu into Snacks, Baos, and Rice, Noodles, and Dumplings. There's a lot of vegetarian friendly options, which is always a plus for me. My highlights were the 7 vegetable stir fry, fried eggplant bao, edamame dumplings, and the Thai veggie spring rolls. The salt and pepper calamari was also really great. Everything was terrific and really unique. Service was good - not great, but they took notice of empty glasses and were quick to bring out food, so I have absolutely no complaints. Shojo is somewhere I'd absolutely return to when staying in the area, I'm really happy we all turned what would have been a very touristy, depressing experience into something with a WAY better vibe and time!

Looks like they have a couple of other locations in other states, 2 in WA & 1 in VA. This one is VERY SMALL... I would say only two tables that are suitable for parties of 4 & ~4-5 bar seats. The line is often pretty long here & people often are already standing in line outside half an hour to an hour before opening. Sometimes you can get away with just waiting for 5-15 minutes if you show up before opening. I personally think they make a decent bowl of ramen! They've been around for quite some time now & even with the dozens of new ramen shops popping up in Boston left & right, I'd still say they are in my top 5 in the city. I'd honestly come here more often if it wasn't for the line hahaha. I think the prices are reasonable & competitive w/ nearby shops. I like that they offer three different sizes for the ramens! Typically don't see that. I love getting the black garlic ramen, tantan ramen, & the miso ramen! But you honestly can't go wrong with any of the ramens they have. Highly recommend!

The Spicy Roasted Miso Avocado Sushi Roll was better than the roasted miso avocado sushi since the best part of the dish was the spicy crumble on top. However, the sushi was oddly sized (too big for one bite, but too small and fell apart for 2 bites). The ramen was also differently flavored.
