We picked up mixes, ready made drinks, non alcoholic, hard liquor, everything! The best bang for your buck would be the individual small shot glass bottles. Still love Total Wine & More! Even though I have been on a break from drinking, I stopped into Total Wine to check out their NA section. Boy, they do not disappoint! Huge selection of NA beer and cocktails. One of the employees even came and chatted with me for quite awhile about the selection and I truly enjoyed the meaningful conversation we had about the non alcoholic space and its growing popularity. Especially if you order six bottles, they give you a 10% discount. I also come here for their tequila selections. I was looking for a bottle of Clase Azul. One of the representatives pulled out a cart, and gave me a personal tasting of a few different tequilas. I ended up buying four bottle bottles lol. That's some great customer service. Finally, on this visit, I was looking for some good quality sake to for a dinner party, they have a really good selection here. All in all, good customer service, though some of their prices are a bit high, they have a great selection of wines, tequilas and sake. Finally, you can order ahead using the app or the website, and the app is very user-friendly. And they will notify you when your order is ready and it's no extra charge for this. 10/19/2025 came in today for blackberry crown royal. It wasn't on the shelf but was assisted by Shanea who went above and beyond to get me my crown royal. Besides her wonderful customer service, I couldn't get over her pretty smile. She also took me over to taste some other whiskey, one was another black berry, chocolate chip and both were delicious. This particular store is super organized! I found Flying Embers Pineapple Sunset hard kombucha here! Yay! It's less expensive than my usual grocery store. We stopped here on our way into Reno from California. I purchased the very last box of the hard kombucha or do I thought. On our way out of town, we stopped in again in hopes that they may have stalked it again. I didn't see any on the shelf so I asked one of the employees if they had anymore. She looked straight up to all the extra stocked boxes on the shelves and found them. I was elated and purchased what they had left. I don't recall her name but she sure was friendly and do was the gentleman that climbed up to get them. Also, I noticed the manager out in the heat getting carts from the parking lot. He had a smile on his face. I thought it was pretty cool that he was out there and not expecting other employees to get them. Meaning it wasn't beneath him to collect them. Horrible customer service from start to finish. The person behind the counter appeared intoxicated and acted completely unprofessional. Slurred behavior, bad attitude, and zero respect for customers. I would not trust this person in any workplace, let alone running a business. This was hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had in my life. The so-called manager Casey was hostile, unstable, and aggressive. Instead of trying to fix the situation or even speak respectfully, his only response was to threaten to call the police. Imagine going to a business to spend your money and being treated like a problem instead of a customer. No apology, no solution, no professionalism -- just attitude and threats. Completely unacceptable behavior. This place clearly does not care about customers or basic standards of service. I will never return and strongly warn others to avoid this place. I've never seen someone look so uncomfortable and unprepared to deal with customers. Shaking behind the counter with an angry red face and no communication skills. Back to Total Wine to pick up Chateau St Michelle Eroica Reisling which I recently enjoyed at one of our Reno local steakhouses. A nice gentleman directed to "Aisle 6" as I was not in the right place of the store. Love all of the options here at Total Wine. Love the fact that they sale local brands. Well, they have some bottles that you may not find at other Total Wine & More locations. The "house brand" stuff is just rubbish, so stay away from it. The salespeople will push their off brand sourced stuff, but don't fall for it. Their single barrel store picks are good. There is an old grey haired wrinkly woman, one foot in the grave who goes around insisting that distilled whisky was first produced in Scotland. She is wrong. Ireland is where the first distilled whisky was made. The Irish taught the Scots how to distill grain whisky. Like you may already know, the salespeople are dilettantes. They know "product" but they have very little real world knowledge or experience tasting great whisky, wine and other spirits. They are just salespeople, NOT aficionados. read more

But today the team member who first checked me out got defensive/excited about their pricing. I'm guessing that I picked a new item that was not labeled yet. The similar item, same brand and size, but different variety was much cheaper. Good news is that the employee knew of the issue (missing the price tag). Bad news is that it was NOT corrected prior to me arriving. More bad news is that I saw NO effort in him trying to correct the problem after I left. I hope he was not part of management. I ended up buying similar other beers from a more friendly cashier. I know better than to let one stressed out employee ruin my experience or review. Education centers, see website. The manager with the curly mustache was extremely disrespectful, demeaning, and difficult to deal with. We attempted to exchange a keg that was gifted to us, and he spoke to us as if we were incompetent, repeatedly insinuating that we were lying about where it was purchased. His tone and approach were insulting and unprofessional. After reading other reviews, it appears this location's management has a recurring pattern of poor customer treatment that has yet to be addressed. read more

The prices are competitive and the amount of new things you find to try out from tastings that are held here make visiting here always a fun experience. This was my first attempt at using the online purchase process and contact-less pickup...and it went off perfectly. I must admit, the website was a bit tricky as I had to think about different ways to make my request so that I could get everything that I wanted. For example, I wanted Scrappy's bitters, but they didn't show up when I searched for bitters, I had to search by the name. Had I not known the brand name I would have been without the orange bitters I needed for a cocktail that I want to make... When I arrived to pick up my purchase I found an easily marked spot, used my phone to let them know I was there, and within about three minutes a very pleasant person brought out my box of liquor. She verified me by checking my ID, and I was on my way quickly. I'll use this feature again, especially during this pandemic year, and maybe even beyond. The best way I can describe this store is that it's the Costco of liquor stores. I'm not much of a drinker but I do indulge in the occasional shot of whiskey or bourbon or putting together a neat Manhattan to sip on. They have pretty much every type and brand of liquor and beer you could think of. The whiskey section, in particular, is well stocked with whiskeys of all types, sizes, and price ranges. I've seen bottles for around $20 bucks and some as high as a few hundred. Whatever you're looking for, Total Wine has you covered. read more

You have an amazing store with the biggest selection of wine, beer, and spirits I've ever seen! However, I was sadly disappointed with the lack of friendliness or offers of assistance from ANY employee on the floor. The clerk who checked me out - Camille according to the receipt (no name tag) - was cold, unfriendly, and acted as if she didn't want to be there helping customers. When I was leaving the checkout line after my purchase, I said, "Thank-you for your help and have a great day." She didn't acknowledge me or what I'd said to her. Omg. It's like the Macy's of liquor stores! They open at 8, so I was able to go early in the day (9ish) to stock up on wine for a weekend get away. I love their selection. I can get our $8-$10 daily drinking bottle and amazing selection of special occasion wines...which I did! It was my wife's bday so I was checking out the tequila, which I know NADA about! Max (I think ) helped me out and even had me do a tasting to help me decide on the MOST AMAZING TEQUILA EVAHHHHH. And yes I did tequila tasting at 9am, don't you judge me! When I'm there I can see that most of their clientele are older folks. I'm in my mid twenties. Every. Single. Time. that I am here, there will be older people in front of me in line who are treated with kindness and respect, but when it's my turn I'm faced with blatant rudeness and talked to like i'm stupid. Idk if it's because I'm young but the staff here treat me like a thieving degenerate. Great store but maybe ask your staff to be a little kinder to all people?? Just an idea! read more

Total Wine is a really fun store to go in if you drink alcohol. There is a small tasting area that Is usually servings up small tastings of 4-5 wines on the weekend. The store is full of nice displays, neatly organized items into easy to find sections, and a great selection of beers, wines, and liquor. There is a good selection of bar ware and cocktails accoutrements as well. The store is well lit but not obnoxiously bright, and there is usually a staff member you can find easy enough to help with any questions you may have. You can find bottles of all sizes, including a ton of trial size bottles near the registers. They make great stocking stuffers!! If I'm not shopping for wine or whiskey, I'm heading to the craft beer section where you can grab a six pack, case, single bottle, or even mix and match your own six pack. It's a fun way to try new beer, and there are always new seasonal beers rotating in and out. So much fun I want to run right out and go shopping for the bar right now! read more

I got a snail mail promo from American Express that if I used the card and purchased $200 or more at Total Wine & More, I'd get a significant discount. So we made our first trip to this store. I thought it was like BevMo! back in California; yes, basically, but no, this is way bigger. It's like a Costco of booze. But cleaner and super bright everywhere! Incredible wine selection. I tried to stay away from the wine aisles, as we have more than enough at home. But oh my, it's impressive. Husband likes mead, which is pretty obscure, but he found several that he had never seen before. Beer selection is pretty good, and I found my favorite Northcoast Brewery beer, Brother Thelonious. Unfortunately the Sake selection is still tiny. I was throughly impressed until we got to the checkout line. The snail mail from Amex was apparently something they'd never seen before. Took a while for them to successfully honor that. Also the guy kept mumbling about COVID when I brought a reusable shopping bag, even when I took it back after realizing that it wasn't welcome. (Oh please, grocery stores started allowing them again MONTHS ago) We bagged/boxed our purchase while they were fumbling with the payment thing. No appreciations given. read more

Went in tonight and received the absolute worst service from a young man Bridger? and his manager. The professionalism and overall attitude was so poor, we were speechless when leaving. I ordered a case of wine online for store pickup. Upon arriving at the store, 5 of the 12 bottles were the wrong vintage. The clerk told me that wine is not vintage specific and they can't guaranty what vintage will be available. This is the second time that this has occurred at this store. I'm stunned to discover that wine is not vintage specific. News to me and to everyone in the wine world, I'm sure. read more
