100% yes. This place is awesome. Great people, great wine, great atmosphere, everything is what you want in a wine bar in your neighborhood. They carry alcohol too for a wider variety of options. The wine club is a terrific option for trying wines you never thought of before. read more

I haven't been here in years. Vino 100 isn't in my neighborhood and a bit of a shlep for me, but a friend wanted to meet there for a glass of wine and snacks. Glad I did. It is a bit smaller than I remember, but packed with so many great wine choices. Not just wines, but also some rums, vodkas, and whiskeys that are unique. The prices.....very competitive. There's a nice small plate menu. We had the hot artichoke dip with gluten free chips. Very delicious. And crispy chicken bites. Nice. Next page in the menu was wines by the glass. The Lido Bay Pinot Noir caught my eye. Delicious light Pinot full of fruit for just $10. Also tried the Prisoner, a more full body red for $14. Great atmosphere to hang with friends and enjoy some sips and bites. Can't wait until better weather to enjoy their patio out front. Enjoyed talking to the owner Karen for a while. Discussed the damn great club they offer. Instead of being a member at one winery limiting yourself to just those wines, Vino curates wines from all over giving you more options. For $39.99 you receive two bottles and a glass of wine each month. I really liked what I was seeing as a few members came in for their pick ups. They share a parking lot with the large strip mall they are in. Parking was still easy. read more

This is a local wine bar that has quite a variety of wines, Champagnes, beers and also hard alcohol available for purchase and / or consumption in the place. The service is friendly and professional. The ambiance is cozy and decorative, now with the Christmas theme! There are funny and clever pictures and plaques for show or purchase. It is a great place to meet friends or to shop for gifts for family and friends or yourself. read more

I've been to Vino 100 a few times now as it is only about a 5 minute drive from my house. This place is a cozy wine bar for all budgets. If you don't like wine they also have beer and cocktails. If anyone in your party doesn't drink, they can get a coffee or any other drink from the adjacent Starbucks and bring it to Vino 100. They will welcome you. If you get the munchies while there, they offer an appetizer menu. The service is great and before I forget, they also have live music sometimes. The last time I was there, they had a very talented singer/guitar player performing. VINO 100 is locally owned. Please support them. read more

Love this place. Karen and her staff make you feel right at home. She is clearly passionate about wine and people. We don't bring our kids here because it's a wine shop and there is glass everywhere, our toddler is not to be trusted around breakable objects. Karen was so kind and welcoming. If you give her an idea of what you are looking for she can find you a fantastic bottle of wine at any price point. We even became members. So then we get a free glass of wine when we pick up our shipment. read more

Came back, and what a difference from my last visit! The ladies working were very inattentive. They would not turn the TV on, ordered a sub par cheese plate, and the cheese tasted old! Not a great experience! read more

What a great day tasting wine and meeting Jason Presley and Chad Oaks. They have a winery in Napa. Thank you Gary & Karen the owners of the cute little wine shop for the invite! I enjoyed seeing you and making new friends after all that what drinking wine is all about! read more

Don't know what happened to a place my wife and her friends used to frequent for ladies night since before Covid!! Employees used to be the best until they were run off as well. Went from 5 stars to 2 read more

Sad to see this place has gone down hill. Visited yesterday and it just has a very discombobulated and cluttery feel to it. The biggest complaint I have is the charcuterie plate they served me. It was so bad I almost thought it was a prank. A plate full of chips, a few pieces of cheap salami and sliced cheese with some chocolate raisins in the middle. read more

I like the Ambiance, but had NO IDEA I would get charged a corkage fee of 5.00 to unscrew a lid off a several bottles that I bought there. I'm going back to Whispering Vines...No corkage fee!! read more

My first visit with a few coworkers was a very pleasant after-work get together. Cozy place in a busy shopping center. Nice selection of martinis, whiskeys, and wine. We didn't try any of the food. The chocolate martini was delicious! My only complaint is it feels a bit crowded because of space and inventory. Otherwise, a delightful spot! read more

My picture is their featured photo, so that's awesome! This is my go-to spot for wine when I'm in a pinch. I know the ladies who work here (April) and the owner Karen. When I walk in there's always bound to be a nice conversation and people I recognize. I go straight to the corner where I know my favorite wines are located. It's a quick stop and a great spot to meet friends and sit outside, especially in the summer. read more

Love this place. We stopped in on a whim and it was such a cute establishment. Lots of wine options plus some other liquors and beers. They also had local art items for sale as well. They had a lot of options for flights and food. I was impressed by everything they had and they were adding in live entertainment. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. You could tell the regulars as they came in because there was a strong relationship between them and the staff. They had a fabulous list of handcrafted martinis. Our favorite was the lemon meringue. I even bought a few bottles to take home and share with guests. Definitely worth checking out. read more

I visited Vino 100 with 10 ladies from our women's group. We get together once a month to enjoy a glass of wine or two at various locations. Because we had a good size group I called a week ahead to make a reservation. The day of the get together, I was in the area so I decided to drop in a few hours before to get a feel for the place since I had never been. The staff could not have been more accommodating showing me the area they would reserve for us. When we all arrived we were delighted to find out it was wine tasting night. I thought how wonderful that they allowed reservations for a large group on a very busy night. We were introduced to several varieties of wine by a steward from Laird Family Estates. The regular staff took our orders for appetizers, which consisted of a wide variety of small bites. All in all it was a great time, excellent wine, tasty bites, friendly customer service and great conversation. I highly recommend! read more

Vino 100 - Our group - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Reno, Nevada

Vino 100 is one of my favorite spots. They have so many affordable wines and it's a semi-hidden gem. I say that because it's not in a super obvious location or one you'd think to go into but as soon as you go in - it's popping! They have a rotating list of wine by the glass but you can also purchase bottles to drink or to go. They boast a list of fun martinis though I'll admit I always stick to wine. I love their charcuterie board - it's incredibly random and seems to always change but I like the pure variety you get on the plate. It's the perfect amount of snack food. They do have a wine club you can join as well as some other Knick knack stuff to check out for gifts and such. Overall a great experience read more

This is a really cute wine shop. The employees are not pushy, and give you time to look at all the cute stuff in addition to all the great wines. Not sure if I was just clueless in the past, or if it's new, but they have a full bar, cocktails and snacks. My friend and I usually grab pizza from across the parking lot, and then sit at an outside table and enjoy our wine and pizza. They always have great suggestions for wine that goes with our pizza, and we are never disappointed. Love them! read more

We had an amazing experience at Vino 100! Steve was fantastic--super knowledgeable and friendly. We did a tasting, and he made some great suggestions that led us to purchase 6 bottles of wine and a bottle of whiskey. Everything was so reasonably priced, definitely competitive with other wine sellers in Reno. The selection was much larger than expected, with so many great wines to choose from, and the atmosphere was quaint and welcoming. We'll definitely be back! read more

I came here on a Tuesday for a fundraising event with my friend. I had an AMAZING glass of some kind of limited edition Cabernet and it was AMAZING. (It's a Sam thing to fall in love with limited edition scents, foods and drinks so I wasn't surprised). The fundraiser event was super fun and the venue it self was adorable! The selection of wines was overwhelming. Luckily my friend was already drinking the Cab I chose, and with a taste of hers that's how I chose what I was going to drink. The shop was decorated for Christmas and had fun décor items to purchase. I will definitely be going back to enjoy glasses of wine with my friends! read more

First time visiting this location and found it to be quite charming. Friends spoke highly of the wine club and wow! What a selection for such a small store. My Fave Belle Glos had a great price too. Karen has a deep understanding of the wines she sells. She is able to listen to what your wine preferences are and based on that recommend wines that you will be happy to drink and try again. If you want to try something new, she can suggest a wine that is sure to please. Beyond that, she makes all of her customers feel at home. Karen also knows the story behind the wine whether it's something about the vintner or the story behind a wine's name. With over 600 different wines in stock, you'll find wine you won't find anywhere else. Finally, you'll find friendly prices too. read more

It is a cute little wine bar, I like the local art that is for sale. The people who work here are friendly. And the service is good. The flights are a little bit high priced for the small pour sizes you get. If you are looking for a little bit more of a taste, whispering vines up the street is a better value and is very generous with their pours. read more

I get 2 reds with my wine club. But you can do two white or one of each. I get a free glass each month when I come to pick up. There are so many good wines in this store, and they carry whiskeys and beer. They also carry cute knick knacks, too. You can even order food to the bar from the nearby resteraunts! read more

Karen ignores customers to hang out with her friends. Ordered a drink and she completely forgot about us. Mind you we were long time customers, had been going there since BEFORE Karen bought the place. So, we just chilled to see if she would remember us. Oh, forgot to mention we were THE ONLY customers in the place that night. We listened to her brag to her friends about her world travels (not the first time). Finally, after 45 minutes of listening to her brag to her friend's we paid our bill and preceded to leave. Karen then said, oops I forgot to get you your drink...then went back to chit chatting with her friends!! Her husband/partner apologized, but at that point we were done... forever. If this situation was a one off, 2,3,4 off, no biggie, but this became a regular theme for our visits to Vino 100. Karen, Vino 100 is not your living room, we were not intruders upon your party, we WERE paying customers. You can't treat people this way and expect to have a prosperous business. read more

Current wine club selection. It's on the wine bar this month. Smoking deal of the century. Drinks like a $50+ bottle for $20.99

Every year Vino 100 hosts the Clause with a Cause event. Vino makes a HUGE donation of wine, wine baskets and gifts to this great cause. I bid on and won a beautiful Maggie Shipley landscape art. The art and jewelry were all donated and all proceeds from the raffle go to women and children in desperate need. I'm so proud of Vino 100 for being so generous to host this amazing event yearly. Not only that but their wine selection is to die for. The service is wonderful and Karen has the wine knowledge of none other. Looking for a great gift? A fantastic bottle of wine or hard liquor? Or just a fun relaxing night out with friends? This place has been my choice for years and still is. They do so much good for Reno. read more

Dear Karen, I just wanted to say thank you! I called last Friday, Aug 19th, and asked if you could put together a variety of wines together - 5 reds and 5 whites - for a small gathering I was hosting that evening. You were kind and helpful and basically gave me the "I got you" vibe which I so appreciated. The wine was fantastic! I was thrilled at the selection and reasonable prices. I'm sure I'll have a new favorite :) Thanks again, and I look forward to visiting soon! read more

This is a really neat local little wine place you can go to have a glass of wine or buy a bottle or even get a snack to go along. Good place to go with maybe a group of girls or a small group of friends. It is a very small location. They have a wine club that is very cool that only cost $35 a month and you can choose between one red and one white or two whites or two red's. Sometimes the selection is not quite what I like but for the most part I really love it. Everyone is always very cheery and welcoming. They even remember your name from time to time. read more

Wow! Went in with my husband and was ignored for 20 minutes! The owner and the waitress all passed us multiple times, never offered to help us or ask what we would like to order etc. They acted like we weren't there. I'm pretty sure that this has everything to do with the fact that I recently canceled my wine club with them. I canceled it because I started a new diet and wine isn't something I can drink weekly anymore. I still wanted to treat myself occasionally, but I guess I'll be going elsewhere for my occasional bottle. read more

Karen is amazing!! Fun personality and she loves her wine and martinis. If you have a hankering for a martini this is the place to go. The wine is amazing too...and her knowledge is out of this world. One of the very best wine tasting experiences I've ever had. You have to try the lemon meringue martini. The almond cookie martini was pretty good too... . In all seriousness, if you're looking for one with great knowledge, this is the place to go! read more
