The office was non responsive, we experienced weeks with phone calls not being returned.They were contracted for two full bathroom renovations, and one half bath to replace the flooring and install an exhaust fan. The contractor scheduled demo the first full bath in June of this year. They delivered a 53 foot dumpster in our driveway in June and used it to dump all their ongoing jobs into our dumpster until the end of July. I finally had enough of our driveway being used as the local dumping grounds so we had it removed.No materials were ordered at the time of demo. No tile no vanities no sinks, no toilet no shower doors. Mind you most of this list was in stock at the local Home Depot !!!! We keep hearing the same excuses that all the materials were on back order. ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE. It does not take a brain surgeon to figure out why no materials were not on the job. We finally got fed up with the back order excuses. Now we were in the beginning of August and my Wife order the shower doors sink, toilet, vanity ,and all hardware. It was here in THREE DAYS !!!! When the bathroom was completed in the second week of August they had the audacity to ask when thy could start on the second full bathroom ??? Keep in mind they where supposed to order the vanity for the second bathroom back in April , It has a four week lead time and the drawing had not been released to the cabinet manufacturer still in August. And just remember to make sure any contractor that you my use has all the proper license that are required by your State and local counties . REVIEW FOR YELP DREAM DESIGN…read more The Dream Design Construction Team was Awesome! We wanted to remove the wall between the dinning room and kitchen to open up the space. We researched many, and obtained quotes from three contractors, one less expensive and one more expensive. Luckily, we decided on Dream Design Construction. Design We had a specific (non-conventional) design in mind, i.e. not the typical big island layout. Additionally, we wanted to add a full bath, a custom pantry, barn doors, and new kitchen windows, flooring etc. We stopped by Dream Design Construction and Yong engineered the design we envisioned that day! Allowing us to see it in 3D. He included things we had not thought of like a pot filler, and coffee bar area. The customized outcome is beautiful. Yong came out and took measurements to finalized the design plan. The Design becomes the Blue Print - - Note: Make sure when you sign the contract that you Know which cabinets will have drawers/ no drawers, pull outs, glass doors etc. or a change order may be required. Contract Their contract was very straight forward which helped us to sign quickly. It stated the price and allowances, installation, demo etc. Yong stated his goal is to ensure 100% customer satisfaction, and he honorably did so. Demo After emptying and packing up the kitchen - Demo was quick! The Team put up plastic zipper walls to cordon off the family room, foyer etc. to limit the amount of dust in other rooms, as well as covering vents. The wall between the dining room and kitchen came down! Mr. Nam was great . The team was here by 8 each day and made sure everything was put away each day and left it as tidy as possible. Construction The build out began and the first inspection was passed. I believe Mr. Nam was key to the success - following Yong Yi's drawing/plans Jose did a great job painting, especially the stove hood/vent - just beautiful. Tile Work is extremely beautiful both kitchen and bathroom. Mr. Nam worked hard in so many areas, requesting input for location of cabinet hardware and providing guidance for light switch locations etc. Mr. Lee framed the windows beautifully, and thankfully Bruce encouraged me to include multiple pendant chandeliers which look absolutely beautiful. Mr. Yong was Very easy to work with and assigned Mr. Kim to perform all the "Finishes" ensuring a perfect result. Final Walk thru/Result Inspection #2 The final walk-through and Inspection were flawless with 100% satisfaction! Just when you are tired of construction...you're done! The remodel was completed AHEAD of schedule, including our last-minute alternatives. BOTTOM LINE: EVERYTHING turned out impeccably beautiful! Dream Design was very accommodating with change items that did not affect the Design footprint-like adding an outlet and moldings for wine fridge, as well as barn doors. They were just so easy to work with.

He also offered great design suggestions and helped us figure out how to get the most value for our dollar. Towards the end of the project James coordinated with the siding company we were working with to ensure there was a seamless connection between the new screened porch and the new siding, including working with the other company to resolve a communication breakdown resulting in a design issue. However today, a year later from starting, my deck remains unfinished and only passed inspection after we personally went through the process with the county. From the first "final delivery" of the deck to me is where I started seeing issues. Huge gaps in the Trex were made at each post that collect water, incorrect pieces of Trex were used on the railings, Trex were cut inappropriately in the middle of the flooring, and none of the footers of the original deck were removed. Cleanup was terrible, large cuts were made in railings that needed to be rectified, the edges of the deck were left unfinished, and the overall workmanship was very poor. Over time, HaiJoe "fixed" a few of the issues, while many of them remain "as is" as they would otherwise require a complete rebuild to be resolved. Many of the "fixes" actually caused additional sets of issues, and the owner still sent the same Foreman! Elder Ramos, the owner was hard to get a hold of, then hostile on the phone, and altogether unresponsive. Elder accused us of lying, raised his voice, and hung up on us over the phone. He lied that our deck passed its final inspection, which it did not until months later when we took care of it ourselves. I am so disappointed with the deck that I have been left with. Every day I use it; I see the poor workmanship that was put into it. Do not use this company unless you want a terrible product and bad customer service.

We replaced our old rotting deck with a beautiful new room addition, designed by WISA, with a…read moresliding door and a side exit that even included a small full bathroom and closet (features that other companies told us would not be possible within the same amount of existing space that we had to work with). WISA's team was wonderful. Everyone did an expert job -- from digging the foundation (lots and lots of dirt needed to be removed!) to extraordinary architectural planning of the project to painstaking attention to every small detail that accentuated the beauty of this space. We especially like that we saw the same team members on a consistent basis (no outsourcing of labor). Everyone arrived on time for the workday and put in their full effort all day long, six days a week -- the excavators, foundation builders, plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, roofing and siding specialists, and, indeed, the entire highly skilled workforce. They found solutions to any and every issue that sometimes cropped up, as to be expected in a large, involved project of this magnitude. The design and project planning team, along with the architect and company heads, were so very helpful in bringing our vision to life. We even went ahead and had old popcorn ceiling removed from our existing living room, dining room, and kitchen and had all those walls and ceilings painted to match our new room addition and had recessed lighting installed in those areas, too (our older home did not have any existing ceiling lighting in our living room) -- so a lot of expert wiring was required to accomplish all this. Additionally, we had WISA install electrical power and lighting to our shed while they were working on all of the other wiring installation work. Our new extension with plenty of large windows to enjoy our treed back yard just adds so much more to the enjoyment of this beautiful extra space. Our back yard was so sloped previously that we couldn't fully use a lot of this additional area effectively before. The new flooring was hand-picked and hand-stained to very closely match our existing floor that this tied into. We now have extra room for family and guests to stay. Not only did the room design and the new large side deck exceed our expectations, instead of renovating an older bathroom as we had planned to do, we decided to go ahead with having a lovely retaining wall and matching pavers installed to fully enhance our new space. This is the first time we've ever had a level pathway across our backyard. It makes everything so much easier! This also corrected previous poor drainage problems affecting our yard, so that was an unexpected added bonus. Our addition turned out better than we could ever have imagined and at a far better price than several quotes we received from other companies. Our initial quote from WISA was easily only half the cost of the quotes from other home improvement companies we contacted. Also, the WISA showroom has just as much selection of products as other companies do; and they will go above and beyond to help you find just the right flooring, tiling, bathroom fixtures, and other options even beyond what they carry in their large onsite showroom.
