Unfortunately, we only discovered this after one of our emails bounced back as undeliverable. At no point did M3 proactively notify us of this change, which was both disappointing and unprofessional. One of the primary reasons we chose M3 over other contractors was their outstanding reviews, along with the professionalism and expertise of the original project manager. After their departure, we were reassigned to the General Manager, Al. Unfortunately, our experience from that point forward was significantly different. Al appeared unfamiliar with many aspects of the process leading up to installation, including countertop and backsplash selections, hardware, faucets, and other design details. In addition, his communication style was highly unprofessional, as he frequently spoke negatively about others involved in the project. Given our concerns, we asked whether there was another employee within the company who could provide the same level of guidance and expertise as our original project manager. We were told there was not, which left us with the impression that the operation heavily relied on a single individual. Ultimately, we decided to cancel the project because we no longer felt comfortable or confident in the General Manager's ability to properly manage and execute the remodel. When we requested a refund of our deposit, we were informed that only 50% would be returned, despite the fact that no work had been performed to date. No explanation or itemized breakdown was provided to justify withholding the remaining portion of the deposit. After we requested full documentation and substantiation for the partial refund, communication from the General Manager ceased entirely. What has been most frustrating throughout this process is the apparent lack of accountability and support within the company. There does not appear to be anyone else available to step in and address or resolve customer concerns when issues arise. We hope this review helps others who may be considering hiring M3, so they can make a fully informed decision and avoid finding themselves in a similar situation.

Amazing contractor!!!…read more Lawrence and his crew did a complete renovation of our basement to build an apartment for my parents. From the design through completion, it was a great experience. I found them here on Yelp and I obtained 3 quotes for the job. I had the quotes reviewed by an independent contractor who told me L&R's quote was what the job should reasonably cost. I called 4 references who all had a similar and very positive experience. Lawrence always communicated with me about schedule which had not been the case with other contractors. They were there working on my job every day, not showing up once or twice a week like some others. Any fluctuation to schedule or budget was discussed and agreed upon by both parties. We had a couple of unexpected plumbing delays but that was due to the original build not being up to the current code. I changed direction on a couple of design decisions and Lawrence was right there with me. The work was exceptional and the end product is amazing. I have had the nightmare contractor experience so was very cautious. This was exactly as the process should be and I plan to have them back in the fall to do more work. They tore off our old exterior stairs structure and siding, waterproofed the entire wall, and installed new siding and a stairs structure that is far superior to the old one. Their integrity and work quality are off the charts. The owner, Ahmad Khreshi, did thorough research before starting our well-planned project. I was impressed by his knowledge of current construction techniques and dedication to doing the job right. There were several problems that required Ahmad to think outside of the box, one being how to install siding under our existing power lines conduit which was mounted to the exterior wall at six different points. Several times, Ahmad's crew discovered water damage due to poor work by our developer. Ahmad was extremely flexible in adding repair of that damage into his work plan on top of the bid-upon work. Ahmad was kind and fair, listened to our concerns, answered our questions, kept us in the loop, worked with us on timing, and gave us a couple breaks. His crew was extremely professional and respectful, taking off their shoes when they had to come through the building and isolating interior work areas with plastic sheet dividers. When our project was completed, Ahmad send us the following. After spending time with us understanding what we wanted, he gave us a very detailed estimate of what to expect. After we compared this estimate to others and decided to go with him, he then spent time with us visiting the Tile Shop and cabinetry companies and picking out details. When we changed our minds and decided to do more tile, he was very prompt in giving us an adjusted estimate, and we never felt like he had under-bid, we knew it was our decision. We asked him to adjust the start date for the project twice, and he accommodated, communicating very well as the date approached. We went a little over 10% over budget, which is just about what I expected for a project like this, and I was pleasantly surprised that we actually finished a few days early. Each person on the project - Elena the project manager, Juan the site supervisor, Alexa the designer, John the estimator, and especially the lead technician Cornelio was a pleasure to work with. As with any renovation, there are always surprises and hiccups along the way, but the team handled everything professionally, even when I was stressed and occasionally cranky. One thing of particular note was how much the team was willing to work with me when the inevitable surprises came up.
