Between the family and I, we ordered alot of food so I was able to try alot of the food. Service was 4/10. They sat us down and asked for our drinks. Came back with our drinks and took our order. Wait wasn't to long. But that's all they really did. No one came by to see if our food was ok or if we needed a refill. They add thier own tip on the receipt and label it a "party fee". Once you go pay it also asks if you want to tip. If you don't pay attention you will be tipping twice. Shrimp tacos and absolute 10/10 Quesabirria- 6/10 Birria burger- 8/10 only because the burger was huge Trompo- 3/10 only had a cool factor but meat was dry and tasted like the gas it used to heat it. Quesdillas Fritas de tinga 10/10 Panbazos 10/10 Vibe was chill though I must say. Music not too loud where you can't speak to the person across the table. Had breakfast today with the hubby and we ordered our food. At first service was great, they seated us even got a high chair for our toddler. We ordered the food, but it took about 20-30 minutes to come out. I ordered the steak and eggs and substitute the potatoes for French fries. When food came out it was fine, except the gave me the potatoes instead of the fries. And they forgot my sourdough toast. They had extra staff to help, but when someone else brought my food out, I told the waitress that I ordered fries instead of potatoes, she had to ask my waitress and when she brought out my fries it was super cold, like it's been sitting for a while. And she forgot my toast. This place is overpriced and overrated. Go somewhere else to eat with fresh hot food, here lukewarm food and it takes a while to come to you. read more

Have to say I finally visited Tostadas Restaurant in Campbell..., upon entering the restaurant I opened the door to what use to be Mama Mia's, I was pleasantly surprised to see the beautiful decor of this restaurant. It was very inviting the waitress was wonderful Josefina... very attentive. A lot of servers and guests in the restaurant. I there is a menu ranging from breakfast, lunch and dinner. I ordered shrimp tostada. It was fabulous. I can't say enough the friend I was with ordered chicken tacos. That were lovely. Presentation is beautiful. The food was delicious. I highly recommend trying this restaurant. I'm so happy to have this in Campbell. read more

Very tasty Mexican food. Went for dinner on a Saturday evening. Got seated right away but took some time for the waiter to take our order. We waited about 20 minutes to get our order taken. Our drinks arrived quickly but it was lemonade and coke. No alcohol. My girlfriend ordered the Birria. Very tasty. Her Son ordered the Birria burrito. A lot of food and tasty. I ordered the Chile Relleno. The sauce was excellent. But it took the kitchen about 25 minutes to get our food out. They gave us whole fried chips with a salsa and guacamole. Very spicy. Good for me not so much for my girlfriend. I would give the food a 4 star but service a 2 star. So total a 3 star. They have room for improvement. read more

Placed a breakfast order to-go. After waiting for about 30 minutes, the host told me there was a "situation" with my order, and it would be ready in 10 minutes. Then, 15 minutes later, another hostess again lets me know there's a "situation" with my order, and it would take ten another minutes. Apparently, they didn't have any TO-GO containers. This is your 3rd location!!! How are you this unprepared? When I got home, I realized that my packed my food in these tiny doggy food containers as opposed to full-sized entree containers. AND THEY STILL CHARGED ME FULL PRICE!! To make things worse, the food was cold because I guess they didn't realize they were missing containers until after they cooked the food? Great food, was able to get reservations but the service on a Sunday was extremely slow. Was sat but no server for 30 min to take orders. Food was slow almost 45 min after ordered but drinks (order from the bar) never came till after we ate our food. It was not our table only, we noticed others around us also got their drinks well after the food was served. Felt like it was s a bit hectic and unorganized. Horrible experience! From somebody who works and loves the restaurant industry. You guys need to stop opening locations like crazy and focus on just one, I get it your first location was a hit but seriosuly, the fact that you guys know Father's Day is going to be a busy day and not have a manager on duty that day at the restaurant, as well as many call offs with your kitchen and FOH staff. We waited for about 35 minutes to be seated when we were told it's was going to be 5 minutes, sat for 20 minutes without being greeted, no waters nor chips and salsa were offered to us. When our server finally came to check on our table it was our server it was another server just to tell us someone will be with us in one second by this time 3 tables have already asked for a manager to complain about how cold the food was, how the got the wrong order, how their drinks took forever, etc. My partner and I decided to only order drinks since the whole restaurant was a shut show already and we knew our food was going to take forever and it was probably be cold. I speak Spanish so I could her and understand the kitchen staff fighting with the front of the house and arguing which is super unprofessional. We did not get our drinks for another 35 minutes and we actually got the pancake first instead of drinks but we didn't get the single side order of pancakes we asked for we got a full order which we had to return and literally waited for another 5 minutes for the pancake to be brought back to the table. We order a second round of drinks, noticed that our server still hasn't giving us any water or offered any chips and drink which it's was weird because everyone else's table had chips and drinks. As some as we got our second and last round of drink (which they took another 15-20 minutes), we decided to ask for the check which took another 15 minutes to get and when we got our check of course another mistake we were charged for the price of the full set of pancakes not the side. Honestly super bad experience overall I know "Mother's Day", "easter", "father's day", etc. I mean i know those days are going to be super busy and food it's going to take a little longer to come out of the kitchen but the fact that everybody was in the weeds running around not knowing what they were doing was just kind of sad and embarrassing. I can't believe the service we had yesterday, literally from the moment we sat down to the moment we left (and had to come right back because of their mistake). We get seated and noticed all the other tables around us are getting complimentary chips and we wondered why we didn't get any? Whatever, we didn't say anything. The water isn't filtered so it tastes like faucet water. Ordered a sprite to take away the dirty water taste in my mouth and the sprite was flat. What is going on? Lol. We get our food and the birria is good but the rice is hard, very over cooked. The restaurant isn't busy by any means but our server is taking a long time to check on us, even the busser gave us our boxes to pack up our food and we still spent another 20 mins waiting on our check to come. The waiter finally comes with the portable kiosk and he charges our card. We sign the kiosk. He says it didn't go through. So he charges our card AGAIN. We sign AGAIN. And we left. But it doesn't end there. I check my online banking app and discover that the waiter charged us TWICE - once for another persons table and again for our table. Why would he say it didn't go through the 1st time if in reality he charged us for another tables check? We we made our way BACK to the restaurant to tell them they charged us twice. The manager said his employee told him about the mistake after we left and blamed it on the POS error. If that was so, why didn't they ALREADY refund the additional check we paid for? It took for us to physically go there and complain for them to refund the bogus charge on our card. The manager also then blames it on a language barrier that the waiter didn't tell us or communicate that.....not quite a good excuse as my boyfriend talked to the manager at the moment in perfect fluent Spanish. No language barrier. They eventually voided the additional check we paid for. It was one thing after another and the check incident was the cherry on top. We have never had any issues at the downtown location, don't know what's up with the campbell location. Word to the wise: Make sure they're not charging your card multiple times for other peoples checks! read more

The food was fabulous!!! The service was very good too! I did notice that there was an abundance of servers and things seemed to be running smoothly which is a sign of good management! The art on the walls is beautiful and the seating very comfortable. I guess my only complaint would be having to wait to be seated. We went to tostadas today in campbell since my son wanted to try it. Usually kids are ignored but Tanya made my son feel soo special she took his order recommended things to us. She was very attentive and a great server. All the staff were great the food was fresh and delicious. The salsas they offered when we arrive have a bit of a spice my son couldn't eat them but love the differed corn tortillas colors. You don't need the hash browns with the chilaquiles because they are delicious on their own. My son had the birria tacos bomb!!!!! And a cup of pozole which was amazing they had that option! Again Tanya went above and beyond taking care of us. We had the little sweet breads they make them in house. I had a delicious mimosa. Just like other reviews have said food was great but service, not the best. Went around 1:30Pm on 5/6 party of 4. A few people there but not crazy packed like other locations can get. Waited awhile for drinks and food took a little longer which again is understandable because it is new. One order came out wrong and waitress Sara didn't notice but we didn't want to wait any longer to fix it so just dealt with it. Ordered birria tacos and on the menu it says it includes consume but when we asked where it was they said they were out. Again, not understanding why as the meat cooks in the juice? Cafe de olla was cold, asked for a modelo and waited about another 30 mins. Asked for tapatio and Sara never brought it but when we asked one of the back waiters he was quick and brought it right away as well as a coke. He was very sweet, wish I got his name. I wanted to see if they had dessert and asked for the menu but jokingly said well let's see how long that takes to even see the menu and sure enough took about 15 minutes. Mind you there were maybe only 4-5 tables with customers. Finally we received our check and paid with card. We had a cash tip that we were leaving on our table before we left but we were just hanging out still enjoying our drinks. Our Waitress Sara comes back to our table and decides to mention, after we've already paid, that the tip is not included in our bill... Yes we are aware it is not included. We were mind-blown considering her service was terrible and again we were leaving her a cash tip. We thought it was extremely rude. Always have had good experiences with the tostadas franchise and would go regularly to San Carlos location when they were new and never had an experience like this before. It was a "catch up brunch" with my dear friend so we started with Blackberry Jamaica Mimosas: refreshing and yummy. Our next round was the Passion Fruit Mimosa which were delicious. We decided to split a savory and a sweet dish. Started with a delicious cup of chicken vegetable tortilla soup. It was just like my abuelita made it! Tostadas Rancheras were good, layered with refried beans, chorizo, a red mole style sauce and an egg. Then came the sweet disaster ... Tres Leches French toast was so dry, we could hardly cut through it. It was not soaked in a tres leches batter as I expected. It was served with diluted condensed milk sauce and whipped cream. We asked for more condensed milk sauce in hope of make it more edible but just couldn't eat it. We did mention it to the server who said he would bring it up to the chef. This is the first time we've been to the restaurant. It was on the afternoon on a Saturday and there was no wait. We have seen that it does get pretty busy later around dinner and during holidays, so plan accordingly. We ordered some classic/basic items to get an idea of the restaurant's offerings. We stayed with paloma/michelada for drinks, a ceviche for seafood and chilaquiles for a taste of a classic breakfast (plus esquite and cheesecake - yum!). I have to say that we will be back as everything was well balanced and delicious. It is on the pricier side of Mexican food, but you kind of know that going in, so no points deducted for that. If I could give this place a zero I would. Came in here to celebrate my graduation. Super excited as we been to the toastas restaurant at the santa clara location where the amc is at and had a great experience. However in this location I just cant believe what happened to us. Service was horrible, the workers don't have communication or don't know what they are doing. After receiving our drinks and appetizers we order food this was about 713pm and from there 10 minutes after a worker came and asked what we were missing from our order. Which of course was all of our food. There were two other parties that arrived at the same time and order food after us and they were already receiving their food. We continue to wait and another worker came by and asked as the same question minutes after and offered water. She left and time passes and came back way later and said she forgot as she was passing out other orders. She left and again two more times we were asked what we were missing. At this point it was past 40 minutes of waiting with my two young daughters upset as they were hungry. We had came to celebrate and have drink and were not even offered again. The place was not that busy the other parties had already finished. We decided to leave at that point as it was about 830 and still no sign of our food. As my friend decided to go pay what we eat two appetizers, drinks, chips and salsa. (Which i would think that they would not charge her or give her half off for inconvenience) I was upset that they had the audacity to tell us that that our food will be getting ready. Really, after waiting so long and them not knowing our order. My graduation dinner that was supposed to be a great experience with my love ones was ruined. I hope the owner or higher up reads this and train your staff.
