Service & Food is great When I visit for dinner earlier my server Josh was genuine, responsive, and really help me out by putting together a dessert to ask my girlfriend to be my Valentine. Went for the second time yesterday evening. Breakfast on Mother's Day was our first time at this location. It was delicious! We knew we would be back for dinner and it did not disappoint! The hostess Cecilia recognized us and said "welcome back!" I joked with her and said " just put our name on this table"! Which was so sweet! Ricardo was our server he was super friendly! Had to try out the new opening of tostadas. The services was good and all the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was relaxing inside compared to the San Carlos location. Overall our experience was great. Our server and the manager made sure we were taken care of, refilling waters and taking the excess plates/trash off the table immediately after placing near the edge. It pains me to write this review because we wanted to love this place, and it's new and we always cut these new places a break, but here we are. We showed up around 10am and there was no wait, great! Hostess (Jovana) was super nice and chatty. We sat down and waited....and waited...and waited. Finally someone showed up with water and some chips/salsa which was great. We'd been there for about 15-20 by this time, but no big deal. New place. Then, we asked for a server. They told us to hang on. So we did...for over 15 minutes. Finally we asked again, and they apologized and told us someone would be right there. 15+ minutes later, someone did. We ordered and then waited...and waited...and waited. We got coffee maybe 10-15 minutes in, but no food. After about 30 minutes I asked about the food. "It's coming" -ok great, but dang, I've been here over an hour now, and my 1 year old is getting antsy. Ok, no big deal, it's a new place, this happens. Then 15-20 minutes later, after asking numerous times, we got one of our dishes. It was tasty. But my food hadn't come yet. After waiting another 30 minutes, we couldn't stay anymore. My wife had long since finished her food, walked my baby through the restaurant a zillion times, and I was over it. As we were packing up to leave, we asked for the check. My wife packed our stuff, put the baby in the car, took the kid seat off the table etc, before we got the check, which was incorrect and had to be remedied. I waited in the restaurant with my wife and kid in the car for 10+ more minutes, but nobody ever came with the correct check. I ended up leaving without paying. I've never done that to a restaurant in my entire life. I felt a bit guilty about it but then again, I've never had a restuarant experience like this where nobody checked on us, nobody updated us, etc. I know it's a new place and everyone working here was super nice, so I feel a little bad saying it, but I'm never coming back here. read more

Went here for the first time for brunch with my besties on a Sunday morning right when they opened. The menu has a lot of variety and good choices. I got the California Benedict, and loved that instead of an English muffin, it was made with sourdough bread which was toasted perfectly. The avocado was fresh and the eggs and bacon tasted great. The Hash Browns had a nice outer crunchy texture too. We tried the Pan Dulce Bites which were adorable and tasty. The service was excellent - didn't have to wait a long time for refills and checking back with us on how we were doing. Other reviews have said the music was way too loud - when we went it was at a low volume and easy to talk to each other. I would recommend this Campbell location. My only complaint is that they don't allow separate checks which was unexpected - we've never been any where else that didn't allow this so it's odd that they aren't able to do it. read more

When asked for, it was brought dry and not cut in half. Was offered chips and guac for the table and assumed it was complementary- it was on the bill. Dead flies on the window sill. It took a while for anyone to ask for our drink order. By the time someone finally did, 10mins or so, we ordered our drinks and food. We all ordered Chavelas to drink. My friend's ordered the steak fajitas, chili verde and eggs, and I ordered the birria tacos. The Chips and salsa finally came out. They were the best part. Our food came out one by one and THEN our Chavelas. They don't cool the glasses, so the drinks were warm. My tacos were not good, probably my least favorite birria tacos I've had. The soup on the side was clam chowder, which I thought was an interesting choice to pair with my meal. I didn't eat it. My friend did not like her fajitas, saying they were full of fat and had a weird taste. My friend that did have the eggs and chili verde, said her meal was okay.
