Traveling from California and went here shopping with my boyfriend for my birthday on 7/1/24. The Asian Lady down stairs was nice helped me with my bracelet I went upstairs and another white lady who I believe is the manager because she gave an employee approval for an item discount with a customer. Anyways the manager helped me with my sandals, she took out a size 7 and 8 for me to try on, we end up buying it and she said she will packaged it for us and bring it downstairs. I got home and opened it and it was the display model "dirty sandals" you can tell by looking at the bottom!! And I bought for full price, never shopping here again, honestly disappointed and unprofessional that she packed the display dirty shoe for me without telling me and I paid in full price, definitely calling corporate!!

These are the newest "GOOD LUCK SNEAKERS" look for the wish bones on each of the shoe bottoms !

I was looking for a pair of hip and comfy pair of walking shoes for work while I'm visiting Hawaii & I know how much I loved the quality and style of Tory Burch shoes fashions . So happy to have found a store near by the place I'm staying at . I was impressed with the greetings and professionalism of all the sales associates when I walked in this store. I asked to see the shoes and was directed to the upper level by YUNGMI !she was so sweet and helpful but not too aggressive at all . I was able to locate my favorite style of shoes and YUNGMI was there to help me get my sizes and fittings to perfection. The transaction was closed with mutual admiration due to her excellence services! I am a happy customer for sure !

I don't visit this location often but when I do I'm there for something specific or picking up an order I've put down in advanced. Since parking is pay-to-stay, I always try to make sure I'll be able to get a validation from one of the businesses I'm visiting in the shopping center. Otherwise you'll end up paying a pretty penny to just browse around. Validation is only given if you have an appointment with a sales associate or if you purchase something. That's the one thing I really don't care for about this location. Because online and in store differ in inventory, I'm not able to browse the website and be assured it'll be in stock here. And with the parking inconvenience I'm not able to just come in store to check if it's there. So I'd say call in advance and ask if an item you're hunting is in stock. I've also asked sales associates to check stock from other stores even off Island. First floor of the store is where majority of the handbags, wallets, accessories and shoes are. Second floor is where you'll find clothing, dressing room and belts. Although there are two floors and the store looks large, it still seems pretty small and awkward to me. Because of the area, there's lots of tourist and some from foreign countries have little to no manners. I really only continue to shop at this location because I've connected with one of the employees and she always keeps me up to date on the promotions. She's also gone above and beyond for me on many different occasions. I appreciate her and will continue to give her my business as long as she is with the company. Honestly if it weren't for her being here I would much rather shop at the Ala Moana location. But that's pretty much it, having only two locations on island, can't be picky...

The store had renovated since the last time we window shopped here. It's been awhile. You may have your companion sit upstairs while you shop. There are only two chairs to sit downstairs or a couch on the 2nd level. You may take the stairs or use the Royal Hawaiian Shopping center elevator. The sales associate offered beverage while shopping. The service here is impeccable!!

This review is based solely on my experience with the staff during my visit today…read more I've shopped at Pink Box multiple times in the past and have never had any issues, which is why this experience was disappointing. My mom and I stopped in because she was looking for earrings. She had mentioned before that Pink Box has cute selections at reasonable prices, so we decided to browse. While she was looking at earrings and pointing out styles she liked, I was helping her look through them. For context, I don't even wear earrings since I have large gauges, so I wasn't shopping for myself in that section. Afterward, I moved over to the claw clips and was looking through some butterfly clips to see if they came in matching colors. A sales associate approached us and asked if we needed help. We politely said no thank you and continued browsing. What made us uncomfortable was that after that interaction, the employee remained very close to us and appeared to be watching us the entire time. When we moved to a different area, she followed. Whether intentional or not, it felt as though we were being monitored because she suspected we might steal something. My mom and I both noticed it, and it made the shopping experience uncomfortable. We are paying customers who have visited this store before and have never given anyone a reason to be suspicious of us. I understand that retail employees have a job to do, but there is a difference between being attentive and making customers feel like they're under surveillance. Unfortunately, because of that experience, we didn't feel welcome during our visit.

The whole store is made up of Hawaiian themed merchandise. There were jewelry, cards, body care items and tons of clothes. They have some really cute items. My friend purchased a set of plastic flower beads to string together to make a necklace. What caught my eye that I really wanted was the sunrise shell necklace. I've always wanted one. The shell has the pink and yellow colors on it to mimic the sunrise. I'm contemplating on getting it as I've wanted one for a while.

I went in and out of the dressing rooms a few times while trying on outfits, and none of them had a basket or spot for purses. Each time I had to hang my handbag on a hanger with the clothes, since I refuse to put my handbag on the dirty ground. Finally, the very last dressing room I tried did have a basket at the bottom, which was much better. The clothing and jewelry are adorable -- some even look handmade -- and I did buy a few outfits and a cute pair of earrings. Prices are on the higher side, but the pieces are unique and eye-catching, so if you're looking for something different, it might be worth it. Unfortunately, checkout brought the experience down. Since I didn't need a bag, the sales associate handed me my clothes directly, but forgot my earrings. I didn't notice until I was halfway home. I tried looking everywhere for a phone number -- Yelp, the Ala Moana directory, the internet -- and couldn't find one. The only number I found just rang with no answer. So instead of calling, I had no choice but to drive all the way back through traffic. When I arrived, the sales associate saw me, handed me the earring, and said she was "going to text me." No apology, no "sorry for the inconvenience" -- nothing. Considering they have my number from the rewards program sign-up, that was disappointing. Overall, Sugar Sugar is a cute boutique with stylish pieces, but expect boutique pricing and limited dressing room amenities. The service could use improvement, especially when mistakes happen.

Shopping in Chinatown, Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. My mom was on the hunt for Year of the Dragon shirts for my sister in Colorado, my nephew, and my nieces. We went to Walmart, Don Quijote, Dillingham Shirt Outlet, and Maunakea Street in Chinatown. She found shirts at Jessica's Jewelryand Gifts, but she didn't get a shirt for my nephew's girlfriend. In a panic, mom called me to go back to Jessica's. They were sold out. Only XL gray shirts were left. I entered Maunakea Marketplace, where I had dropped her off the other day, but she didn't walk far enough in... to get to YaFangShi Fashion. On the day before Lunar New Year, I saw many shirts of various colors and different designs hanging outside a shop! Inside, the clothes were neatly folded, and the dresses were hanging for better viewing. OMG... It was like t-shirt heaven! The shop was called YaFangShi Fashion. The friendly owner introduced herself and said that her name was Lian and that she's been here for 24 years! I had passed by often... and even bought a lavender-colored Cony umbrella, but didn't know the name of the shop. Looking around, Lian even had dresses, tops, jackets, footwear, accessories, and pants! I got a navy blue, medium-sized Year of the Dragon shirt for my nephew's girlfriend and gave it to mom to give to her on Lunar New Year. Everyone was happy! Yay! Happy Lunar New Year of the Wood Dragon!
