This location has the Hawaii exclusive prints on clothing! They have the white/black Hawaiian islands or orange hibiscus flower print or a circle design for both male and female clothing. It's limited to 3 per person so you can get shorts, a bra, and jacket. They have black color or white color clothing so it's very neutral and modern still. The only downside is that they won't bring out multiple sizes if it's gone on the rack and they restock in the morning by opening. read more

Looking for some of the local exclusives that took us here. Word is the local stuff is delivered on Friday & sells out fast. Of course we come here on Saturday - hoping. This is a really small store, the smallest we've been to. It still had a decent selection of clothing & accessories. However, we found the last pair of shorts in my size. This Lululemon was fine, it's located on the busy strip with plenty of shopping and is a popular location. We stopped in to browse, but other than a few pieces with Hawaii graphics it wasn't much different than our local Lulu stores in California. It was large, but even with the size I didn't see anything the specifically caught my attention. Also, because it is so crowded it makes it harder to navigate around and harder for staff members to greet or help you. If you're from an area that doesn't have Lulu, or if you arrive early and want to collect some Hawaii pieces it may be worth it to you though. read more

First, save yourself the trouble the Hawaii items only arrive on Friday's and plan on a long line! The sales person gave us the wrong info! They do not arrive daily and the other store is a uber ride not a 6 block walk. The staff might need some more training. However, it is a nice store but they need more Hawaii merchandise! read more

This location was very organized when they expected a line every single morning for the Hawaii exclusive collection. Unfortunately, the selection of it is very small. They don't have many sizes. You are able to try on the clothes, but it is also final sale. If you're truly in store for just the Hawah exclusive or just something to pick up it's totally worth checking out. The store is well organized and have very friendly employees. I came to this location to get a bag because the other store closed an hour earlier. The store is a lot smaller than the other location. I was bummed that they only had one color of the jacket that I wanted and they were also limited in sizes. I love lulu in all but wished they had more inventory. They did have the bag that I wanted but I ended up getting a different style which actually looked better. I would come back to this location. I took in a pair of legging that was bought about 2-3 years ago that needed to be repaired where the inner thigh stitching. Lululemon offers lifetime warranty, Now this doesn't mean you can return the item if it's gets damaged after having it and after constant usage. You would start with, identifying if your item has a quality issue. This could be unraveling seams or fading colors not caused by normal wear and tear. Then you visit a Lululemon store or go onto their website to submit a claim. You'll need proof of purchase and to explain what the issue is. If it qualifies, Lululemon will repair, replace, or offer a gift card for the item's last known retail value. I was able to get the stitching repaired at no charge. The store employee said they would contact me after the work was done, but I didn't get a follow call, so I called after a month and half and found out it was ready for pick up. It was quick and easy with no hassles. So next time you may have unraveling of the seams or the color is fading reach out to them at the store or online. I will definitely use their service again!!! read more

This store is located in the heart of Waikiki, so there's always customers inside. My husband and I were staying at a nearby hotel in walking distance and came to this Lululemon store a couple of times. This is the only store that we know of in Hawaii that has Hawaii exclusive items - tops, bottoms, jackets.. On one of the days that we went, we decided to stop by before the store opened in hopes of getting a better chance of finding more options at the beginning of the day. There was a line of people waiting for the store to open, and once they did open they allowed only a certain amount of customers in at a time. There was a security guard outside the store too - he was super nice and talked to all the waiting customers. read more

I went into this location to make and exchange of a shirt for a backpack and one employee was extremely helpful. I wish I knew her name! They weren't able to find the exact color way of the backpack I wanted in store, but she helped me make my exchange and order the backpack to my house. My boyfriend has the hardest time looking for good work pants that last a long time and are also not hot/have decently breathable fabric. Yes it's expensive, but instead of buying many cheap pairs of pants that break in a few years, just buy one or two of these on sale and they'll last a long time and you'll be comfortable all day and night. I just bought my first Lululemon leggings and now I understand why everyone is wearing yoga clothing out all the time. They are super figure flattering! 1) Lots of staff. If you are having difficulty finding a staff person to help you, then you might need an eye exam. It could potentially be off putting if I cared, but I would rather have too much help than no help. 2) The "Aloha" specific labeling that can be added to a very limited amount of mens/womens "core" products is a cool and unique selling point to a quality athletic item that is the perfect souvenir for yourself or others. They can apply the ALOHA in only black and white color, again on a limited amount of core product only. The turnaround time is 24 hours. 3) When we returned the next day to get the white sweatshirt we had made with Aloha, we left the store with the security tag inside. It caused for a few challenges going in and out of stores with security gates in the day and had to return to this location so they could properly remove. A big of a hassle that could have easily been avoided. I am a long time fan of the brand, its the quality. read more

5 stars for A1 staff and service. I am writing this review 1 year later from my trip however I remember exactly why I am rating Lululemon on Kalakaua 5 stars. I went on a hunt to find a specific color of leggings/style requested by and for my mom. I first went to the Ala Moana location which was USELESS and HORRIBLE. Ironically, the Ala Moana location is even bigger and has more staff than the Kalakaua location, yet I could not be helped willingly. Therefore, I called the Kalakaua location to see if they has the specific leggings I needed. The lady was nice to take the time and look. Lucky enough, they had it in store and she was able to put the leggings on hold for me. We drove over and my order on hold for pickup was ready for purchase! Parking is horrible and to be expected as this Lululemon is located on a prime tourist spot and Waikiki strip. If you are driving, you will have to park in paid public parking garages. read more

The wife is LULU-Crazy!! Oh my wallet! :p She deserves it though! After doing extensive online shopping, my wife found something she really liked at an excellent price. We could've chose shipping to our home for free, but store pick up was also available, so we decided to pick up so she can have it sooner. Let's go! This Lululemon store is located in the heart of Waikiki along Kalākaua Ave, in the Waikiki Business Plaza, between Seaside Ave and Dukes Lane. Hand sanitizer and hand wipes are available at the door with a limit in customer capacity. Arrows are clearly shown on the floor to help with social distancing. This is a relatively small store. It's clean, bright, and organized. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When I got to the cashier to ask for our order, we were told the order has been CANCELLED! Whaaaaat? The salesperson told us that they looked for our item, but couldn't find it, so it meant it was "out of stock." I asked if it was possible to switch it back to ship to our home, but because the order was already cancelled that wasn't possible. Additionally, it was SOLD OUT online! Obviously, my wife was very disappointed and sad. I was as well since that was something she really wanted and we drove down to Waikiki for it. We just walked around the store browsing. I think my wife needed some revenge shopping lol, but I didn't give up on the item! I wanted to try find the item because it didn't make sense to me when the store stated it had one in stock then gone later? I thought it might've been mistakenly sold or it really was an error in their system, but I still wanted to try find it. I searched a little first, then my wife joined, but no luck and she gave up. I was determined and kept going since there were a few more sections I haven't gone through...... Lo and behold, I FOUND IT! I found three of that style actually. I asked my wife, what her size was, then showed her what I found! She was definitely happy and I felt proud to find it for her. We went back to the same person who helped us earlier and showed the person that I found the item he/she was looking for. It was $20 more expensive than the online price, but it was price matched and got a free bag as well. I should've asked for a finder's fee discount! Overall, I'm not sure how hard they looked, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as the item has many styles of the same color. I wandered in after watching a beautiful sunset on the beach. I was overwhelmed by all the staff offering help. Seemed like I was the only customer in the store- at least 5 people came and offered me assistance. I explained I was taking photos to send to my niece for her Christmas wish list. They have really cute clothes, but I ended up just leaving. Too many sales people offering help. I had planned to look for both myself, and my niece. Super entrance in Honolulu. This store is a little smaller than most Lululemon stores I have been to, but they are the only Lululemon in Oahu that currently offers something very special if you are lucky to find in stock! Some of the items have the Hawaiian island stamp. I was excited to see they actually had align leggings in stock but not so lucky to find my size. My favourite lululemon store in oahu! The staff here is always upbeat, cheerful and genuinely helpful. They also have more items in stock than ala moana even though it's a smaller store, it's easier to find the items you want and leave! Also unlike the ala Moana location which is always busy, there's NO line in the Waikiki store whenever I come here, whether it's during the weekday evenings or weekends. Parking is only $7 in the building, which is central to other shops around ( sephora, VS, Cheesecake Factory, Free people) and also relatively cheap as it's a secured and safe parking garage that is brightly lit with a security guard. read more

I came in here hoping to exchange some old items for some newer items recently. When I was browsing for new items, the customer service in the back was pretty helpful. A bit pretentious, but I can get over that. I was disappointed to see that the new align items are see through. :/ when I went to see how much store credit/money I could receive for my 1 year old align biker shorts that are not see through, they told me $5. Feels a bit like a slap in the face from lulu to it's loyal customers. I was most disappointed with the way the woman spoke to me when I was trying to acquire more information regarding exchange policies. Incredibly demeaning as if I should have known these answers already. Overall, the store needs a better energy in my opinion. Don't plan on coming back, and also planning to move away from purchasing lulu items if quality is decreasing. read more
