You can imagine what my expectation was regarding what type of clothes I would encounter. I took her, b/c I'm a good daughter, not b/c I was expecting to enjoy a single moment of my time in the shop. My initial impression couldn't be farther from my actually experience. We drove into an unassuming strip mall and was immediately directed to the shop by signs posted along the parking lot (good idea). As we pull up, we are greeted by a hot pink "red" carpet and window dressing far from grandma/elderly woman's clothing. As we enter, we are immediately greeted by the beautiful diva owner, Giovanna, who verbally directed us to the store layout. My compadre's browsed, but when Giovann noticed I wasn't delving into the clothing racks (i'm not much of a shopper), she came over to me and questioned me on what my 'style' was. Which left me speechless, b/c again, I'm not a shopper and am not the kind of girl who has any idea what "style" I prefer. So, she broke it down for me. "Tell me how you like to 'feel', not how you like to look". Thus began all of our journey into diva-hood. For the next 2 hours, we tried on clothes all while Diva Giovanna showed us tips on how to bring out our best features, how to pose in a way that creates the best pictures, and what looks would work best on our bodies...she even took pictures of us in her clothes to show us how amazing we looked. It wasn't shopping. It was an experience in celebrating womanliness! There is something for everyone in this shop (even a little dog and a piano), casual, fancy, REALLY FANCY... She will make you try on things you didn't even know you would look good in and she will style you. I have seen worse commercials, but I digress. Miguel was very helpful. I was informed that the cosmic gelin pants I like was the only one left in my wife's size. Unfortunately my wife wasn't feeling the pants, but they will stay on my mind for a long time. Still, I am happy to see this business is still alive and kicking.

An extensive part of their product line is on display in the store, so you can see the apparel up close and personal before you make your purchase, maybe finding something special that didn't catch your eye when flipping through the catalog. I've worn their shirts for years and, let me tell you, they're incredibly well-made and last quite a long time. There are a variety of fits available in all sizes, so you're sure to find something that looks good on you, and it's cool that the shirts are designed in a way to look good on whatever shape body you happen to have, both tucked and untucked. The wrinkle-free items are great, and I just found out how great they are when unpacking my suitcase after a cross-country flight a couple weeks ago - just hang up the shirt and you're ready to go! I've been in a number of UNTUCKit locations over the years, and I have to say that the staff here is amongst the best, with Mike helping me out with my selections and making sure I had exactly what I needed - no pressure, just excellent customer service, the way it should be. Everything appeared very clean and the staff there were friendly. They have nice large fitting rooms and overall the store is a good size. The wonderful sales person took the time to return each item and then reorder each item in the correct size. The correct sized item will be shipped to my home (just like my original order). The sales person also took action to reorder the correct sized items after adjusting the price of the newly ordered items to match the original sale price that was paid. Top tier service in a clean store. What else could a shopper need/want. The added bonus is that the female sales staff never makes me feel feel uncomfortable, at all, as the only male in the store.
