I have been to the Clifton location a few times. My lady put me on to Toros and I've never left disappointed. We decided to try out the Paterson location last night. They certainly did not disappoint. We got quite a few things. I'll start with the lowlights. The spinach feta pie lacked textural contrast. The dough was soggy and it was a lackluster dish, both of our least favorite of the meal. The falafel app, while good, is something I'd skip next go round. The shepherd salad is a must. The hummus is also very good. We got the Toros combination platter. These three dishes, along with their bread, are just delicious. Get them and then dm me a nice "thank you". Paterson location is BYOB. Just go. It's bangin! ENJOY!!!

I have been dining at Toros Clifton for years. Toros prepares the best Turkish cuisine around! We decided to try the Paterson location for a change. We ordered our usual favorites hummus, shepherd salad, bread, and a toros combination platter. These dishes are a must and work well together! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. We also tried for the first time the spinach feta pie. I would skip that because it was soggy and unappealing. We also ordered the falafel. It was good but it's served with salad and hummus which was unnecessary. The service was good and it is BYOB!! However, the decor and ambience was mediocre in comparison to Clifton. If you want more of a take-out feel then dine at the Paterson location. If you are looking for an attractive ambience then the Clifton location is the way to go! Either way the food is excellent at the both locations!! Enjoy!

I've only been to the Toros restaurant in Paterson (there is a Clifton location and one in New Milford). A friend took me and my boyfriend here for a meetup, and we've gone back to Toros since. One of the things about Turkish cuisine is that it's known for its meat-based dishes. However, it's possible to eat vegetarian and you can do this at Toros. What we did was order a bunch of appetizers, bowls of Ezogelin (red lentil soup) for each person, and we rounded off the meal with some Turkish Coffee. Below are the apps that we order usually - - Coban Salata (Sheperd Salad) - ask for Feta - Babagannush - Lebni - Hummus - Patlican Soslu (Eggplant Sauce) - Acili Ezme (Spicy Vegetable Salad) - Yalanci Dolma (Stuffed Grape Leaves) - Ispanakli Borek (Spinach Pie) You'll be in store for an amazing meal in an intimate and welcoming atmosphere at Toros. Highly recommended!

The food is fresh, the servers are friendly and eager to help. The taste is ok, not something a gourmet Turkish would be completely satisfied, it seems the taste may be adjusted based on American style a bit. The decor is amazing and the cleanliness is well maintained. It appeared to me the management of the restaurant is maintain high standards to keep up and I think it's beautiful.

Food was excellent, service was good too. I would have given 5 stars if the waitress wore mask. With today COVID-19 situation, I feel nervous to eat there .

From the moment you walk in, you're wrapped in warmth--by the people, the culture, and the unmistakable love poured into every single dish. The food? Spectacular doesn't even begin to cover it. Every visit, I either try something new or let them choose for me (which I highly recommend), and without fail, I'm blown away. Not once--not ever--have I been disappointed. Every bite feels thoughtful, soulful, and deeply rooted in tradition. The flavors are rich, comforting, vibrant, and unforgettable. You can taste the care, the history, and the pride behind the food. And the people? Truly some of the warmest, kindest souls you'll meet--welcoming you like family, not customers. I can honestly say I'm being slowly--but very happily--converted. The beautiful food, the incredible hospitality, the culture, the entire experience... it's something special. The Olive Bistro isn't just a meal, it's an experience, and one I crave again and again. Do yourself a favor: go hungry, go curious, and go often. You'll thank me later.

We didn't have a reservation, but they were still able to seat us in the dining room as long as we could wrap up before 1:30, which we appreciated. I wasn't super hungry so we shared the crispy cauliflower and lamb ribs from the appetizer menu. The crispy cauliflower was excellent -- hot, actually crispy, and not drowning in sauce which I really appreciated. The lamb ribs came over labneh (a yogurt base) and the first plate arrived with the lamb cold. I asked our waitress if that was intentional and she said only the labneh should be cold. They immediately replaced it with a fresh order and handled it really well, which I appreciated. Great service recovery and overall a really enjoyable brunch spot with a lively atmosphere.

We dined at the bar as we were seeking a drink and a light snack. Calamari was GF and delicious (wish it was more crispy tho)! We also ordered the GF dry rub wings. Amazing, crispy, flavorful! Though they were great at serving us and providing us our items accurately, most had the energy of a deflated balloon. A smile could have went the wrong way, or even a proper greeting. I'm going to assume it was simply a long day, and hope to see them in the future hopefully on a better note. They still received a 22% tip for their service.
