Extremely slow service. Only place you can get someone right away is if you order a drink right at the bar. Any and everything else will take over an hour. Managers are impossible to find. Not impressed. The Vegas spot was so hectic and insane but they had that under control and people ready to serve. But Renton wasn't that bad but service was horrible. This place has potential. Staff was cordial, nice atmosphere. The price of literally everything is insane. I will probably never come back just from this alone. Be careful - they charge you a reservation deposit amount and then when you are there and pay your bill, they don't deduct the deposit. A little pricey. Spent $85 to hit balls with my kids for an hour. They had fun with the video aspect like Angry Birds. Great service, very attentive. Our server was an attractive friendly woman. There was a little miscommunication and some issues with our reservation which was kinda frustrating. We got moved to different bays and servers 3 times and things were a bit messy at first. However, when we got to our final bay, our server Abbiee was amazing! She really rolled with the punches and made sure we were taken care of. Personality and service was a 10/10 and definitely made our night better, I'm glad we ended up with her! I guess things happen for a reason! 5 Stars for Abbiee!! Came here for a friend's birthday and they got us a nice bay (top deck) for a walk in and it was such an amazing experience. I personally don't know how to golf but it was an extremely fun experience! Definitely different than mini golf lol. Customer service is 10/10 and the food was 9.9/10. Top Golf has a great way to quickly get on the waitlist, which is really convenient. The golf technology and game is so unique. However I am disappointed in the food and drinks, The food tasted like someone thing I can buy in Safeway and toss it in my microwave, not good. The drinks were ridiculously expensive. I ordered shots and each shot turned out to be $23.00 That is ridiculous and the tequila bottle is $50.00 at Total wine. What is really frustrating is when business tell me how much to tip, and on the receipt they said we suggest you tip 20%- 25% please take that off, I'm gonna tip according to what I feel like tipping. Our server Demitrius S. began to be extremely rude to our party after closing out our bill and getting his tip money from us with 10 minutes left to play. He made one of the ladies in our group so uncomfortable that she left early and waited in the bathroom for us to finish as she caught him staring at her 3 times from behind in only a couple minutes. This caused her to ask us not to invite her if we were going to do another TopGolf night. In addition to making our friend feel very uncomfortable, the second time expired he stopped one of the members of our group from taking his last shot before he could swing, grabbed the ball off the tee and threw it off the edge so he couldn't take his last shot. These two instances demonstrate behavior completely unacceptable for even staff the staff of a $15 unlimited ball driving range, let alone a venue that charges $170 in two hours. The fact that Demitrius S. waited to get our tip money and then began to treat us with such disrespect was a complete slap in the face. So it's been about a month now and I have yet to receive a call back from a manager, I had a horrible experience called the number on my receipt to get my issue fixed however no call back. Gave me racist vibes, the waitress accidentally gave me someone else's tab upon leaving we had been in our bay not even an hour (paid for 2hrs) mind you I have a toddler who was frustrated and ready to go so honestly I'm not paying attention to my receipt I just say "yeah charge my card on file cuz duh I paid to reserve with my bay online. Waitress even mentioned she'd charge us just for the ONE hour, So I sign the receipt tip her. Then when I'm shopping at the gift shop spending more money at this facility. The waitress runs up to me tells me "hey I accidentally charged someone else so you need to come with me to pay" I was so confused I asked a question and she had an attitude as if I was the problem. I signed and still gave her a tip because at the end of the day she serviced us but didn't have to be rude or make me feel as if I was trying to leave without paying. I am literally still so annoyed from my experience last night. To begin with we signed up for the waitlist and waited the 3 hours - THEN we got a text saying the estimated time for the bay to be ready was around 10:10pm so once we arrived we checked in and we're told there was a "GLITCH" in the system and would have to wait approximately 10-30min... ok annoying whatever we then received no text and ended up going in around 11:20 where they forgot???????? I'm sorry what?? If it weren't for the people I was with I would've shared my frustrations right then and there. We received no apology, It is crazy how this type of service is acceptable. Just because people are nice, understanding and don't say anything doesn't mean you don't own up to your mistake and attempt to make it right. Do not book a birthday party!! SCAM!!! I have been to this top golf and the top golf in Vegas. All 4 times I have been the service and play was great. I decided to have my sons birthday party and that was a very big mistake. Started off with me reviewing the contract and seeing that I was paying for 12 kids but they had in the contract that only 6 are coming when I truly had 12 coming. So don't sign party contracts with them they will try to scam you. second once arrival for the party at 12:00 they told us just go to the left and look for your bay, not even telling us what the bay number was just look for it. found a little sign that said my sons birthday on it. food was out on the tables already and cold who knows how long it was sitting there. the screen said time started at 11:45 and my contract said it started at 12:00. No staff members to help or get us going. I could not figure out the screen and had to go find someone to help. they could not figure it out and had to go find someone else to help and then finally a third person had to come over and restart the computer. An attendant came over and told the kids in one bay the rules but did not include the kids in the other bay and ignored them. After 3O min into our time again I had to track someone down to see if we could order drinks or food. they apologized and comped the 3 pizzas I had ordered. the sensors on the balls did not work well. some kind of glich or something. Only about half of the balls hit would actually register. when came time to sing happy birthday they checked with me the pronunciation of my sons name not too hard. Callen and then called him the wrong name and of course as 8-10 year old boys are his friends gave him a hard time and called him by the wrong name the rest of the party. so was this birthday worth the $500 No absolutely not, just skip it do not do a party there. Myself and group of friends were super excited to try the new TopGolf in Renton. We've been to several others around the country and are very familiar with how it works. When we get to our bay, we order drinks and food and begin to have a good time. We are a pretty competitive group of friends so naturally we were loud and cheering for our teammates and showing some frustration when things weren't going well. About an hour in, a manager comes to check on us to see how things are going ... we told him good and that we didn't need anything. A few minutes later, another manager comes over and says we aren't allowed to order any more drinks because we've reached the "2 drinks per hour" limit. Our waiter then returns a few minutes later and we requested to end our game play early because we wanted a few more drinks. Our waiter then tells us "yes, there were complaints that you guys were drunk and unruly" .... Apparently there was a kid in the bay next to us and the parent didn't like that we were cussing. Our issues: (1) as a manager, don't LIE to us -- he could have told us there were complaints, (2) topgolf is pretty much an outdoor bar, why she we have to walk on eggshells for kids read more

We originally came to play for 30 minutes, no problem from the beginning, then a manager comes and says "we need to move you to a different bay, but we'll transfer over 2 hours over there" we think, okay sweet we get 2 hours for free, so we play. We ask for our checks so we can leave and they charge me for 2 hours, I call the manager back over and ask why, he says "you guys originally wanted 2 hours, no?" I tell him no, we did 30 min and he says "oh I'm sorry, the guy told me 2 hours" he then proceeds to take $20 off the bill, but the thing is, we originally paid for 30 minutes! The only positive feedback I have is that the event coordinator was very communicative via email and everything went well up until check in for my son's 16th birthday event. Soon after that it was a very disappointing experience. We checked in 5-10 min early and were asked to be seated in the lobby, hold up this yellow flag and our waitress would come seat us. Ten minutes into our party time, I checked in with the front to see what the delay was about. Didn't get an answer. Two minutes later our waitress finally came and sat us saying she wasn't informed we were there. We didn't get seated until 15 min after our start time. We asked the waitress (who was not the most pleasant and seemed annoyed to be there) and the manager on duty that this would not cut into our 2hr party time due to their error. They replied with a "we will see what we can do" and then eventually with a "no" since they had another group right after. Ok well then we proceeded to ask if they could atleast refund the minutes we paid for and lost. We were told we signed a contract. Such a ruthless remark considering we held up our side of the contract but they didn't. In the end, after my husband went back and forth with the manager, they managed to compensate a few things and we appreciate it but did not appreciate how it took a lot of our effort on our part to hold them accountable for their error. We made a reservation and then realized less than 5 minutes later that time would not work we called customer service right away and were told they would cancel it and refund the money. We got an email confirming the cancellation. Husband and I were on the line over speakerphone and asked the representative multiple times if we would be refunded and were told yes. We went to Top Golf the very same day at a later time and ended up spending quite a bit of money at the venue so they did not lose any money on our account. They charged our account $65 today (4 days later) for the reservation. When we called customer service we were told that they do not give refunds on cancellations within 24 hours and that we have to dispute the charges with the bank. Went Saturday night with a group of 5 the day after grand opening as a walk in. The wait time was about 1.5 hours which we expected. But it took an hour to get our cocktails on the 1st floor while waiting. We sat at a table in front of the bar. The waitress kept apologizing and insisted that the bar was backed up. As I watched the bar, I noticed that the people ordering at the bar were getting services right away. So after 45 min of waiting i went to the bar and asked them to make our drinks that we paid for already. Unfortunately, we didn't get our drinks til we got to our bay. Manager actually had to expedite the request in order to get our drinks. He didn't offer any comp but just an apology. It took another hour to get our food which was told to us by our waitress to that was tolerable. We paid for 2 hours and throughout our game the computer kept glitching. It didn't keep score accurately or didn't keep score at all sometimes. We told our waitress and all she could do was report it to their facility department. The lights that illuminate the holes didn't work either which is why we wanted to go to a night session. The excuse for that was the app to control their lights wasn't working. We also ran out of golf balls so had to wait another 15-20 minutes to get it refilled. They extended our time by 15 min as a courtesy. The golfing part was fun. The food was delicious. Ordered flat bread pizza , chicken nachos, cheese balls and street tacos. Be prepared for "glitches", slow service and disorganization. Really disappointed at this place. I had high hopes for topgolf since it was my first time going in, but I felt very discriminated. Here is what happened. My mom and I went in as soon as it opened at ten am today and did walk in. You can see it online but there is a promotion for unlimited game play from opening to noon on weekdays for twenty dollars per person. We were told at the front to tell the bay host about to apply this promotion at the end of the game play. We went to the bay and the game play time we could select were only 30, 60, and 83 min. We chose the longest one which was 83 min (around 11:20am). When the screen said 15 min left, I asked the bay host about the promotion and he said he would have to ask the manager if they are doing this promotion and if extending the game time to noon would cost extra. He came back saying "this unlimited game play promotion has limitation and the promotion is actually 20 dollars per person per hour". This did not match the description from the website so I showed him the website on my phone. During this whole conversation, he kept sighing and shaking his head which made me feel like I should not be asking these type of questions. I was shocked and hurt at this behavior and attitude. We said that we would end after the 15 mins and he gave us the check. I was looking at the check and the receipt was still 20 dollars per person even though we played around an hr and a half. This was weird because the bay host specifically said 20 dollars per hour per person but we played 83 min. It felt like they just wanted people who were using this promotion to leave quickly. I was trying to write the tip and the whole time the bay host was looking at me and staring me down. I did not feel comfortable. Also, there are so many staffs that are just standing behind the booth watching the customers play. The staffs would ask questions like oh what are you eating, are u sharing the drink, and other questions that was not related to the service. The staffs are very disorganized and slow.
