i loved Top Golf when i got to go in Arizona so i am very excited that we have one here now. it'll definitely be a cool hang out when it's not busy, went Saturday night as walkins so waited patiently for our bay, however the txt notification system is sort of whack, when it asked if we were here because our bay was open, we replied here then it said we'd get a random bay soon...waited another 25 mins after the initial text that our bay was open, no text, so we walked to the desk and they told us our number. then we get to the bay and the clubs are still laying on the table and the gameplay screen isn't up yet. i assumed they forgot to put the clubs back after disinfecting, however after some more waiting our server came over confused, like "oh, you're here." she was super nice, it seemed she was just as confused as us lol. so once we finally got our bay and it was properly disinfected, we enjoyed hitting balls. will say, my iceless sprite did throw me off. it was 85 degrees sooooo i enjoyed a warm sprite. i could've asked about it, but i chose not to. our waters came (late) with ice so i was just very confused why they didn't have enough ice for soda. or someone hasn't been trained properly yet on soda making lol... after the txt notifs and water situation i think it's safe to assume that their computer system needs to be figured out among employees, i can imagine communications via ipad at a busy place like this can be difficult. i just encourage the managers to work on timing and communication when it comes to relying on technology cant wait to come back and enjoy when they figure out all the kinks, and when it's less busy! read more

We made a reservation and waited 3+ hours to get in. They texted us and were prompt about updates. We arrived 10 minutes before our "booth was ready". The only issue was that they didn't say "text us 'okay' if you're gonna make it" they just said "click this link if you can't make it" and so we go in and they said "well yeah if you don't text back they just assume you're not here". Honestly super disappointed with the communication. Was really looking forward to this as a date night and now just super upset. Hate giving 1 star reviews and I avoid them at all costs, but this was extremely upsetting... read more

Our server was awful. Ordered boneless wings and were brought bone-in. Sent them back. 5 minutes later our server comes out with the same bone-in wings and asks if we just want those instead as she made a mistake, we said no we want boneless. She huffed and said she will put in an order for boneless. Ten minutes later we added a fried chicken sandwich to the order and 2 sprites. The drinks came quickly but 40 minutes later still no sandwich. I asked a random server where our food was, she said she didn't know and would get the manager. The red shirt manager and server were in our vicinity 10 minutes later yet no one approached us or helped. So we called our server over and asked where our sandwich was..she had no idea what we ordered and said she would put the order in then looked at her tablet and realized she already ordered it and said she would go see where it was. The game was fun but the service was absolutely awful. read more

I brought the kids on Monday night and it was pretty full. We waited for an hour, but the app was convenient for the waiting lists. I put us on the waiting lists before driving to the place, so we didn't have to wait that long at the actual place. Everybody had great time overall. Playing golf is pretty much self entertaining. However, food services need some improvements. We waited 15 min before water and drinks. We ordered appetizers but they weren't served for 45 minutes and ended up coming with our dinner. The foods were dry and warm. It must have been sitting on the counter for awhile. We ended up extending another 30 min to order dessert since the kids wanted to try their donuts.I hope it gets better. It is nice to have a Topgolf in our area. read more

Way overpriced. Ordered two appetizers and after one bite, had to toss in garbage. Ordered 4 drafts and all were flat. You

This is a complicated review, lol. I expected so much from this place since I'd been to the TopGolf in Hillsboro twice and the one in Vegas twice; All were Amazing times. The thought of TopGolf in my backyard...expectations were through the roof. With the exception of Greg, the downstairs bar experience was horrible. For starters, we asked for 4-5 drinks that every bar in American has and was told this brand new establishment didnt have the liquor. Greg was super cool about it, laughed it off with us and apologized. About the 6 try we just settled with cidar and a few shots of Jose Cuero tequila. Now it is time to pay, the machines do not work. Greg tells us to go to our bay and he will come find us. Another employee, aggressively said NO, they need to pay now! Again, their machine did not work. So we waited, at the bar, until they fixed their machines. Greg, then apologized vehemently for his coworker, shook our hands and said he hoped we'd come back and hoped the bar would be full when we return. There was another guy there, not helpful at all, not hating on my man talking to the ladies but our wait time could have been half of what it was if he was doing his job. Second floor, Bree, Nikki, and Shea. They were working the second floor bar. Giant difference from downstairs. Laughing, joking, fast as hell, professional, efficient. Made downstairs look and feel like it was not apart of TopGolf. Special thank you to Bree, Nikki, and Shea for all their help and assistance. At multiple points, they were running drinks to our bay themselves! Huge Kudos!! Finally, GINNY. This server was on 1000!!! He energy was absolutely amazing. She was the perfect host. Her energy and personality just matched the group. She kind of morphed from a host to just being a part of our party it felt like. She was extremely personable, professional, knowledgable, sweet, kind, funny...everything. Can not say enough glowing things about her. She made the place feel like it belong to us. Excellent job! Again, her energy and personality was unmatched as a server. The food, food could be far better. Come on, why are the wings soggy? The wings are fried, lol, but all our wings were soggy. Lemon pepper wings were a joke. The naked wings with the sauce on the side were a joke. Just soggy. We had burgers, pretzel bites, tacos, salad, etc, but all the food we had just absolutely should have been better for bar food. Just no real excuse here. So will I go back, yes....Mainly because of the exceptional service by a few employees and Its in my back yard. I could definitely see myself going there to watch football. But I do hope this TopGolf location can get on par with the other locations I visited which were both 5 Star experiences each time I went there. read more

From beginning to end our experience wasn't great. When calling to inquire about pricing and services it was not communicated clearly. During the experience customer service was below average with quality of food, wait time and staff interactions. After, we found that two of our vehicles were broken into and a third car in the next row over. We were forced to park in the back lot due to the front lot being full. At first this was no problem as it is a short walk inside. To our surprise we noticed that the camera security system stops at a certain point and does not cover this back lot and or the side back lot. We called over the security person and he mentioned that this back lot gets broken into frequently and that he has mentioned getting additional camera security systems to cover the back lot to management , but no one has taken his suggestions seriously. In addition, there is only one security person on duty at a time so it's clear that they are being spread thin. After experiencing this entire situation my friends and family will not be coming back. For the amount of money it cost to come here as a paying customer I expect to experience the best customer service from beginning to end, including not having to worry about our vehicles and how we're going to get home. It is also very clear that you don't value your employees and or customer input as this has happened many times before and nothing has been done, for this we will also not be coming back. I also want to make clear that we did not leave anything of value in our vehicles to entice theft. read more

It's a fun place to spend time with family and friends. The location, ambience, and golf suited our needs.

Came to top golf for a work event. They accommodated all of us very well. The taco bar they brought out was okay, nothing amazing, the flavor was pretty bland. Golf was fun, everyone seemed to enjoy it so that was a plus! Overall, I would definitely come back, but for those who JUST want to hit golf balls, stay away! The prices are outrageous for a booth. read more

I'm pretty sure Renton can do better putting this business in a better chance to succeed... Very, very expensive for a family of 4 with minimum smiles from many of the staff we saw. read more

Staff is extremely undertrained. No one seems to know what is going on. Any issues that we experienced regarding food, wait times or questions were addressed by "no idea, I didn't do it". I am giving two stars as it is a newer place and absolutely has kinks to work out. Pros: -large space, -easy to find a table to eat and drink, -kid friendly, -nice atmosphere. Cons: -Drinks were continually made incorrectly. Two drink was filled 3/4 of the way, once we asked if the drink was complete, we were told "oops! We forgot to add the club soda" -Food, was a very long wait. Upwards of 45 minutes. Food came out twice incorrectly/wrong table. Due to food allergies we had expressed multiple times we needed a gluten free bun. -salad had no dressing -food is very basic, not bad but nothing exciting. -bays were open for hours but we could not be sat. Understand that are reservation's but multiple open bays for hours is ridiculous. There should be better turn over. Overall experience. Glad we tried it but we will not be coming back here. read more

My husband and I went for lunch together and were extremely impressed. Beautifully laid out inside and the staff is professional and attentive. The food was "Top" quality and delicious. We had a blast playing zombie golf and filling our Fresh made mini doughnuts with raspberry and chocolate. We can't wait to return. read more

Expensive with sub-par food quality. The service felt a little overly attentive, yet slow at the same time. The tater tots are mostly breading, hardly any potato in the middle. Regular french fries don't get enough seasoning. Pretzel bites came with cheese that had almost solidified by the time it got to our table. The tortilla chips also aren't very salted. The injectable donuts were ok, but the bavarian cream has almost no flavor, and the donuts themselves are very messy to eat due to the sugar they're covered in, instead of having them glazed. It would have been nice to have a fork to eat them with. The burgers are very moist, but otherwise good. As for golfing, I noticed that all of the clubs there are very long, which can make swinging them a bit of a struggle for shorter people like myself. It's also required to sign up with an email address and phone number to become a member, which is required in order to golf - why don't they just have a guest option so we can avoid entering in all that info about ourselves? I was in a party of 5, and our bill was around $260. And we didn't get any alcohol. All in all, I don't think I'll be going back there again. read more

Ride down from Seattle to meet some friends and ride some Renton gravel after hitting some golf balls. The "hospitality" manager said my bike was a safety hazard in the bay despite being smaller, lighter and not useable as a weapon like the bags of clubs folk's carried in to swing. So just be warned it's not bike friendly, and casually hostile to customers actually looking for exercise. read more

Extremely slow service. Only place you can get someone right away is if you order a drink right at the bar. Any and everything else will take over an hour. Managers are impossible to find. Not impressed. The Vegas spot was so hectic and insane but they had that under control and people ready to serve. But Renton wasn't that bad but service was horrible. Food never came either. read more

This place has potential. Staff was cordial, nice atmosphere. The price of literally everything is insane. I will probably never come back just from this alone. I can go play an entire round at washington national, or druids glen and get multiple pitchers with lunch for the price i paid for two pitchers split 6 ways and 20 swings of my clubs on one of their "games". Basically robbery if your talking about price point to fun ratio. I was incredibly excited when i heard we were getting a top golf, having experienced it first hand, i left wishing i had saved my money. read more

Be careful - they charge you a reservation deposit amount and then when you are there and pay your bill, they don't deduct the deposit. A little pricey. Spent $85 to hit balls with my kids for an hour. They had fun with the video aspect like Angry Birds. Great service, very attentive. Our server was an attractive friendly woman. I would go again especially if they had some family deal or discount. At least the kids games like air hockey and shuffleboard were free. read more

Came here for a friend's birthday and they got us a nice bay (top deck) for a walk in and it was such an amazing experience. I personally don't know how to golf but it was an extremely fun experience! Definitely different than mini golf lol. Customer service is 10/10 and the food was 9.9/10. There was a little miscommunication and some issues with our reservation which was kinda frustrating. We got moved to different bays and servers 3 times and things were a bit messy at first. However, when we got to our final bay, our server Abbiee was amazing! She really rolled with the punches and made sure we were taken care of. Personality and service was a 10/10 and definitely made our night better, I'm glad we ended up with her! I guess things happen for a reason! 5 Stars for Abbiee!! Food was delicious even though some of it took awhile. Abbie fixed any and all issues we had and actually cared! In the end, we left super happy and had a great time! Top Golf has a great way to quickly get on the waitlist, which is really convenient. The golf technology and game is so unique. However I am disappointed in the food and drinks, The food tasted like someone thing I can buy in Safeway and toss it in my microwave, not good. The drinks were ridiculously expensive. I ordered shots and each shot turned out to be $23.00 That is ridiculous and the tequila bottle is $50.00 at Total wine. What is really frustrating is when business tell me how much to tip, and on the receipt they said we suggest you tip 20%- 25% please take that off, I'm gonna tip according to what I feel like tipping. The service was nice but not excellent, Overall I would come back only for the game. read more

Our server Demitrius S. began to be extremely rude to our party after closing out our bill and getting his tip money from us with 10 minutes left to play. He made one of the ladies in our group so uncomfortable that she left early and waited in the bathroom for us to finish as she caught him staring at her 3 times from behind in only a couple minutes. This caused her to ask us not to invite her if we were going to do another TopGolf night. In addition to making our friend feel very uncomfortable, the second time expired he stopped one of the members of our group from taking his last shot before he could swing, grabbed the ball off the tee and threw it off the edge so he couldn't take his last shot. These two instances demonstrate behavior completely unacceptable for even staff the staff of a $15 unlimited ball driving range, let alone a venue that charges $170 in two hours. The fact that Demitrius S. waited to get our tip money and then began to treat us with such disrespect was a complete slap in the face. We are requesting he return the tip money he received in light of his lack of genuine service and utter dishonesty. read more

So it's been about a month now and I have yet to receive a call back from a manager, I had a horrible experience called the number on my receipt to get my issue fixed however no call back. Gave me racist vibes, the waitress accidentally gave me someone else's tab upon leaving we had been in our bay not even an hour (paid for 2hrs) mind you I have a toddler who was frustrated and ready to go so honestly I'm not paying attention to my receipt I just say "yeah charge my card on file cuz duh I paid to reserve with my bay online. Waitress even mentioned she'd charge us just for the ONE hour, So I sign the receipt tip her. Then when I'm shopping at the gift shop spending more money at this facility. The waitress runs up to me tells me "hey I accidentally charged someone else so you need to come with me to pay" I was so confused I asked a question and she had an attitude as if I was the problem. I signed and still gave her a tip because at the end of the day she serviced us but didn't have to be rude or make me feel as if I was trying to leave without paying. I will never return here I even spent money prior to getting my bay. Rather take my business elsewhere. Horrible service's read more

Super fun, although kind of annoyed because our bay glitched in the middle of playing which took over the last 10 minutes of our playing time, some of us didn't even get to finish our game because we had an error for 10 minutes before anyone fixed it. Myself and group of friends were super excited to try the new TopGolf in Renton. We've been to several others around the country and are very familiar with how it works. When we get to our bay, we order drinks and food and begin to have a good time. We are a pretty competitive group of friends so naturally we were loud and cheering for our teammates and showing some frustration when things weren't going well. About an hour in, a manager comes to check on us to see how things are going ... we told him good and that we didn't need anything. A few minutes later, another manager comes over and says we aren't allowed to order any more drinks because we've reached the "2 drinks per hour" limit. Our waiter then returns a few minutes later and we requested to end our game play early because we wanted a few more drinks. Our waiter then tells us "yes, there were complaints that you guys were drunk and unruly" .... Apparently there was a kid in the bay next to us and the parent didn't like that we were cussing. Our issues: (1) as a manager, don't LIE to us -- he could have told us there were complaints, (2) topgolf is pretty much an outdoor bar, why she we have to walk on eggshells for kids read more

I am literally still so annoyed from my experience last night. To begin with we signed up for the waitlist and waited the 3 hours - THEN we got a text saying the estimated time for the bay to be ready was around 10:10pm so once we arrived we checked in and we're told there was a "GLITCH" in the system and would have to wait approximately 10-30min... ok annoying whatever we then received no text and ended up going in around 11:20 where they forgot???????? I'm sorry what?? If it weren't for the people I was with I would've shared my frustrations right then and there. We received no apology, It is crazy how this type of service is acceptable. Just because people are nice, understanding and don't say anything doesn't mean you don't own up to your mistake and attempt to make it right. If you have a special event coming up and need things to go as planned, go somewhere else because clearly topgolf has too many system glitches to operate successfully. read more
