You will get hung up on if you try to call. The virtual assistant wouldn't send us to a real person who I know is behind the desk.. actually staring at the 2 people just not doing anything but standing there. I physically go in to talk to the worker to let them know that customers are being hung up on and they said there was no physical phone number to this location and that it gets routed to a call center in Dallas. He apologizes but has absolutely no fix. He tells me there's a 60min wait for a bay. I swing around back and I see at least the entire 2nd floor empty! Over 34 bays are empty when they could let people play. The parking lot is 1/2 full. If there's no wait staff, then at least tell the patrons that there's no waiter service and I can just hit some golf balls like a regular driving range. You're still getting my hourly rate for just hitting the ball. This is why I don't ever want to book a party here. There's no way to even coordinate with anyone, the workers have no power/resolution. I mean, I WANT to give them my money but Topgolf is horribly managed and run completely not efficiently. This place could make so much more money but no one is listening to the customers. Money is actively leaving bc customers are being turned away. And the staff can't/won't help and don't even have phones to answer phones bc they don't get phone calls routed to them. If you're looking for something fancy and completely fun, Topgolf is the place you never knew you needed. With similar facilities around the country to include Los Angeles and Las Vegas, its wonderful to have a facility locally in the Seattle area - located specifically in surrounding city of Renton. The first thing you notice is the size of the facility and amount of parking. Large drop-off and pick-up, as well two floors of seating. Inside is just as pallactial with large area for reception, reservations and of course large spaces for dining on different levels. You also notice a small pro-shop for swag, shirts and other items needed for your golfing experience. Topgolf is, essentially, a very high-tech driving range that can accommodate large parties as well as the individual golfer, just trying to keep their golf skill up, in a new and entertaining way. And it's glorious. Prices and available times are posted. And the staff is professional and friendly. There are even spaces for large gatherings such as special meetings and special events. However, if none of these strike your fancy, and you are just looking for a bite to eat while watching some local sports, or just sit outside with a view of Boeing field, Topgolf is happy to accomodate you. Where the Topgolf kitchens can be a little crowded on a very temperated day, the food is one of typical sports bar fare, with choice of an excellent burger, chicken wings - and a beer, spirits or cocktail to meet your needs. Our friends treated my wife and I to Top Golf for the first time for our birthdays. Our session was 2 hours. Reservations were handled online. Plenty of free parking can be found in the generous parking lot. Large parties can easily be accommodated. Swing Suites are half price on Tuesday's. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Outdoor food and drink are not allowed, including bottled water. A collection of golf items can be purchased in the lobby. Top Golf offers an assortment of outdoor seating, including rooftop seating. Restrooms are easy to access on each level. Food menu is similar to bar grub. Top Golf offers a full bar. I did appreciate that each menu item lists the calories. Table service is provided. Our table shared a pitcher of Manny's for $29 while settling in. I had a couple 6oz pours of Winter Hills Sauvignon Blanc wine for $12.49 each. Our friends ordered the Queso Blanco & Chips for $10.49 for us all to share: creamy white queso with a kick and house made salsa served with corn tortilla chips. The queso was delicious. The tortilla chips were skimpy. Our friends ordered the Crispy Chicken Strips for $13.79: 3 hand-breaded chicken strips and ranch to dip. Theses chicken strips were the smallest I have ever seen. My wife and I shared the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Tots for $12.79: grilled chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, onion, dill pickle chips and Dijon aioli. Staff members were indifferent and sporadic. My wife has been learning golf, me not so much since I played in college decades ago. She suggested we go today and although I was hesitant as I'm stiff as a board, lower back aches and ho-hummed going. We ordered as a group the flat bread, hummus dip, boneless wings, and fried mac n cheese nuggets (those were the best things). All of the rest of the food was just ok, even mediocre, but this is a sporty type of place, so the focus isn't on providing high quality food. The one common thing about most of the food items is high sodium content. Everything was really salty. The chairs were also uncomfortable to sit in, so watch out for those. The service was pretty good and our server did a great job handling our large group. The food was brought out in quick rotation so we never ran out of items. Didn't get to try any alcoholic drinks since this was a work function, but I'm sure that they add to the fun. The spaces are also heated which is a plus! I have been to Topgolf many times for corporate events and for personal events. I've always had a pretty good experience. I'm on my way to Topgolf now and have already had the worst customer service experience of my life. The sequence of events goes as follows... I schedule a 2 bay event and put down 25% over 2 weeks ago for 7pm Then 3 days ago I have people in my party ask to move it to 6pm, I call my event coordinator line and no one answers so I leave a message. I don't hear back all day Then 2 days ago I call again same thing no response no call back. Finally today I decide to call the facility directly not via the event coordinator line. I deal with an options menu - a virtual assistant that doesn't want to connect me to the front desk - a customer service team - and then finally the front desk just to be hung up on. I then go through the same process 2 more times with customer service telling me the manager will call me back. After not hearing back I finally call back one last time and customer service tells me there is nothing they can do. If it weren't for the deposit, I'd cancel my event right now. I understand not being able to move the reservation but not calling me back for days and then not offering me any sort of explanation or compensation is unacceptable. What a disappointment. The chicken sandwich wasn't my favorite, it almost seemed just the slightest bit underdone which is a little scary. But that honestly could have been either the dark lighting or my imagination. The tots and fries were crispy. The potato skins had a fun and unique flavor with an delicious creamy and crisp crunch. And the pretzel bites were pretty standard but salty and hot for sure. We got to our booth and the heat lamps were on full blast and no matter where you sat, you were sitting on hot cushion or chair. The couch cushion was very flat and uncomfortable, no matter where you sat you could feel the bottom of the couch. Our server was super nice but the overall service was awful. We asked for the heat to be turned down or shut off (which neither happened) we ordered waters as soon as we got to the bay and it took over 30 minutes to get anything. I ended up going to the bar to grab some water since nothing had arrived. The people next to us arrived later than we did and pretty much got their food and drinks as soon as they got there. As soon as a I got back to my bay with the waters we finally got 2 more waters. The server came over asked if we "had drank from them yet?" then proceeded to take 2 of them and 2 straws from our table and gave them to the next bay over. We then proceeded to order the injectable donut holes and some pretzels bites with beer cheese. The donut holes were WAY overcooked, over seasoned and actually made me and my boyfriend sick later on.
