We originally came to play for 30 minutes, no problem from the beginning, then a manager comes and says "we need to move you to a different bay, but we'll transfer over 2 hours over there" we think, okay sweet we get 2 hours for free, so we play. We ask for our checks so we can leave and they charge me for 2 hours, I call the manager back over and ask why, he says "you guys originally wanted 2 hours, no?" I tell him no, we did 30 min and he says "oh I'm sorry, the guy told me 2 hours" he then proceeds to take $20 off the bill, but the thing is, we originally paid for 30 minutes! Why should I as a customer get charged for something I never even bought? It makes no sense. Not happy at all with the service read more

Do not book a birthday party!! SCAM!!! I have been to this top golf and the top golf in Vegas. All 4 times I have been the service and play was great. I decided to have my sons birthday party and that was a very big mistake. Started off with me reviewing the contract and seeing that I was paying for 12 kids but they had in the contract that only 6 are coming when I truly had 12 coming. So don't sign party contracts with them they will try to scam you. second once arrival for the party at 12:00 they told us just go to the left and look for your bay, not even telling us what the bay number was just look for it. found a little sign that said my sons birthday on it. food was out on the tables already and cold who knows how long it was sitting there. the screen said time started at 11:45 and my contract said it started at 12:00. No staff members to help or get us going. I could not figure out the screen and had to go find someone to help. they could not figure it out and had to go find someone else to help and then finally a third person had to come over and restart the computer. An attendant came over and told the kids in one bay the rules but did not include the kids in the other bay and ignored them. After 3O min into our time again I had to track someone down to see if we could order drinks or food. they apologized and comped the 3 pizzas I had ordered. the sensors on the balls did not work well. some kind of glich or something. Only about half of the balls hit would actually register. when came time to sing happy birthday they checked with me the pronunciation of my sons name not too hard. Callen and then called him the wrong name and of course as 8-10 year old boys are his friends gave him a hard time and called him by the wrong name the rest of the party. so was this birthday worth the $500 No absolutely not, just skip it do not do a party there. I sent in a review and I sent an email to the event manager. and the response from her was thanks for the feed back hope you had a good weekend!!!! Top golf has the worst customer service. read more

Went Saturday night with a group of 5 the day after grand opening as a walk in. The wait time was about 1.5 hours which we expected. But it took an hour to get our cocktails on the 1st floor while waiting. We sat at a table in front of the bar. The waitress kept apologizing and insisted that the bar was backed up. As I watched the bar, I noticed that the people ordering at the bar were getting services right away. So after 45 min of waiting i went to the bar and asked them to make our drinks that we paid for already. Unfortunately, we didn't get our drinks til we got to our bay. Manager actually had to expedite the request in order to get our drinks. He didn't offer any comp but just an apology. It took another hour to get our food which was told to us by our waitress to that was tolerable. We paid for 2 hours and throughout our game the computer kept glitching. It didn't keep score accurately or didn't keep score at all sometimes. We told our waitress and all she could do was report it to their facility department. The lights that illuminate the holes didn't work either which is why we wanted to go to a night session. The excuse for that was the app to control their lights wasn't working. We also ran out of golf balls so had to wait another 15-20 minutes to get it refilled. They extended our time by 15 min as a courtesy. The golfing part was fun. The food was delicious. Ordered flat bread pizza , chicken nachos, cheese balls and street tacos. Be prepared for "glitches", slow service and disorganization. I plan on waiting a few more weeks before we go again to give them an opportunity to get it together! read more

We made a reservation and then realized less than 5 minutes later that time would not work we called customer service right away and were told they would cancel it and refund the money. We got an email confirming the cancellation. Husband and I were on the line over speakerphone and asked the representative multiple times if we would be refunded and were told yes. We went to Top Golf the very same day at a later time and ended up spending quite a bit of money at the venue so they did not lose any money on our account. They charged our account $65 today (4 days later) for the reservation. When we called customer service we were told that they do not give refunds on cancellations within 24 hours and that we have to dispute the charges with the bank. Very disappointed that we were mislead by the customer service agent. read more

I've loved top golf and had tremendous experiences in the past but this one was not it it took 40 minutes to be greeted by a server and asked what we wanted which was disappointing because we only had 20 minutes left we got the queso and chips which are phenomenal we never once got asked if we wanted a refill and when our drinks came they didn't give us any straws which is a little thing but it matters when it comes to good service only gave 2 stars because we love Topgolf and their food but this service was so bad and just seemed so lazy. read more

Really disappointed at this place. I had high hopes for topgolf since it was my first time going in, but I felt very discriminated. Here is what happened. My mom and I went in as soon as it opened at ten am today and did walk in. You can see it online but there is a promotion for unlimited game play from opening to noon on weekdays for twenty dollars per person. We were told at the front to tell the bay host about to apply this promotion at the end of the game play. We went to the bay and the game play time we could select were only 30, 60, and 83 min. We chose the longest one which was 83 min (around 11:20am). When the screen said 15 min left, I asked the bay host about the promotion and he said he would have to ask the manager if they are doing this promotion and if extending the game time to noon would cost extra. He came back saying "this unlimited game play promotion has limitation and the promotion is actually 20 dollars per person per hour". This did not match the description from the website so I showed him the website on my phone. During this whole conversation, he kept sighing and shaking his head which made me feel like I should not be asking these type of questions. I was shocked and hurt at this behavior and attitude. We said that we would end after the 15 mins and he gave us the check. I was looking at the check and the receipt was still 20 dollars per person even though we played around an hr and a half. This was weird because the bay host specifically said 20 dollars per hour per person but we played 83 min. It felt like they just wanted people who were using this promotion to leave quickly. I was trying to write the tip and the whole time the bay host was looking at me and staring me down. I did not feel comfortable. Also, there are so many staffs that are just standing behind the booth watching the customers play. The staffs would ask questions like oh what are you eating, are u sharing the drink, and other questions that was not related to the service. The staffs are very disorganized and slow. It also did not feel private at all. Overall, the game was very interesting, but the service is very bad. The game was not worth the emotional damage I had to go through this morning. read more

I've been to a lot of top golf's but honestly this one was pretty bad. Went for a party and the waitress basically kept yelling at us to initially sign in despite majority of our group being late. At the end of the reservation our waitress kept demanding a credit card and told us we had to leave to the patio asap. Honestly probably the worst experience I've had in a while and sadly it was our friends bday. Terrible experience, I hope management figured it out soon... because the top golf franchise is solid read more

The ball dispenser kept running out of balls and had problems getting the balls out. Just because of this problem, it wasted 15 minutes of our golfing time. The thing is, is that they didn't give us the time we lost, they didn't care. I am really disappointed in these actions. read more

The experience I've had with top golf is exceptionally the worst treatment I've ever had in my life. I've heard the food and bar has had flies in it and the co workers do nothing about it. This makes me super uncomfortable and weary because I don't prefer insects in my food as I know many don't. Also I've noticed the supervisors and especially the managers don't do anything when you say what's wrong. Super disrespectful and made me feel like I wasn't being taken care of and asking for too much. This business need some help!! read more

Food was HORRIBLE service was HORRIBLE, they told both me and my siblings to leave immediately. We kept getting DEATH stares for no reason. I ordered some wings and I seen ants crawling in it. And to make matters worse the ice cream spoons were DIRTY. Mind you we are a BLACK MUSLIM family. They don't support the black lives and overall they all need to seek help. Even the employees said that the manager was racist and rude. And there was also drunk white guys fighting and throwing things like clearly sticks at each other. NEVER EVER EVER COME HERE. we got on the waitlist which told us to arrive at 7 which we did, when we got there they said it would be an hour wait which we were okay with because of all the entertainment. when an hour passed we asked about our bay and they said another hour, we were frustrated and they laughed as we tried to get it figured out. a party of 5 spent 2.5 hours doing absolutely nothing, we left because we were done waiting and as we left there were 7 bays open. read more

The only positive feedback I have is that the event coordinator was very communicative via email and everything went well up until check in for my son's 16th birthday event. Soon after that it was a very disappointing experience. We checked in 5-10 min early and were asked to be seated in the lobby, hold up this yellow flag and our waitress would come seat us. Ten minutes into our party time, I checked in with the front to see what the delay was about. Didn't get an answer. Two minutes later our waitress finally came and sat us saying she wasn't informed we were there. We didn't get seated until 15 min after our start time. We asked the waitress (who was not the most pleasant and seemed annoyed to be there) and the manager on duty that this would not cut into our 2hr party time due to their error. They replied with a "we will see what we can do" and then eventually with a "no" since they had another group right after. Ok well then we proceeded to ask if they could atleast refund the minutes we paid for and lost. We were told we signed a contract. Such a ruthless remark considering we held up our side of the contract but they didn't. In the end, after my husband went back and forth with the manager, they managed to compensate a few things and we appreciate it but did not appreciate how it took a lot of our effort on our part to hold them accountable for their error. Overall the golfing experience was great for the kids, food is subpar, food service and overall customer service needs a ton of improvement. read more

I was really excited to finally go to Top Golf in Renton because I've had friends/coworkers talk about it for a while now. My boyfriend and I went last week and I wasn't that impressed. I am a golfer and enjoyed different games but for the price I'd expect more. If your expecting to eat while you're there I'd advice you to eat before hand because the food was horrible! It reminded me of a "hot lunch" from grade school or something you would get served from the worst cooks of America! Wasn't impressed at all with the food or drinks, however the staff was really nice and friendly. Overall it's not a bad place to try I just expected more:( read more

We sat down, and the server took about 40 min to take our order. We ordered two Smokehouse burgers, and the meat was super raw still, we never got napkins, server never came back and took about another 40 min to try to find them or to get someone to tell that our burgers raw still. & An hour later we got our drinks that we had ordered when we ordered our food. Super disappointing. read more

Awesome. Great service. Great fun. Fun for the family and really goos food. We did morning with breakfast. Fun family weekend activity.

These reviews gave me reservations and a bit of unease. Not really sure how they could be true. -- I had a business event and it went great. From the reservation down to the actual event. I can't tell you a time i had a party and had such good attendance of the service. The food was good and they made everything I wanted it to be . We all enjoyed and I have no complaints. Thank you for making our event special. read more

This place is a joke. You can only make reservations on line but doesn't allow you to pick a time. Also says walk ins are available which isn't true at all. I drove an hour to do the walk in and they don't allow that ether. Do not listen to there website it's all a joke. Very disappointed read more

My kids took me here for my birthday & we had so much fun! The food was so so but I loved the atmosphere! We're definitely going back soon!!

Best place to golf, have drinks and an all around Great time. They will even give you tips on how to correctly golf. Best time ever.

One and done. I read an earlier review that the entire experience is basic. Couldn't agree more. If you're looking to enjoy an evening with a family of four stay clear unless money is no object. I love the idea of the lifetime membership per person....another nickle and dime tactic. (Heavy sarcasm). We went on a weekday before 5pm. With food, a couple of drinks and golf cost nearly $300. No liquor just 3 beers and a couple sodas. read more

Lol this place is a joke. 3 people sitting around the bar and took 10 minutes to get a drink. Normal corporate chain customer service.

Our server Adelise and Jordan were absolutely amazing and the manager Aaron is amazing I love coming here just for the service

Zero star rating is what best describes this establishment! We were so excited to visit this place and celebrated our friends bdays who are husband and wife. Service from the bottom floor going up to the top floor was sub par.... One of the bartenders even had the nerve to ask me to hand her someone's else's dirty glass, I'm like get ur lazy as@$ and walk around and do your job... I did hand her the glass and made a snarky remark. We go upstairs to our section to start hitting some balls after about an hour we tried to order another drink asking the same waitress multiple times if she's going to serve us or not. She kept telling us she'd be back three times. Then a manager comes out and stated they could no longer serve us drinks based off our behavior and feedback from a waitress. WOW!BOGUS! We all only had one drink an hour before some of us didn't drink at all cause they arrived late. I was extremely livid and perplexed at how the staff judged us. How can you say people that are sober are acting in a manner where you felt you needed to cut them off... we demanded an hour refund back from our game which they refunded without a fight. It's truly sad this beautiful venue has been staffed with such low caliber employees. We left the minute they cut us off from drinks. As we were leaving we ran into two guys who just went through what we did except they were escorted out and seemed very coherent . Good for u Top Golf you must be doing well to not need customers to keep your wheels turning! I would not recommend, do not spend your hard earned Pennys on this place. A bunch of Asinin employees that make asinin judgments of customers and will evidently turn this place into an Asinin environment!. read more

Went there on Father's Day, and the service was awful. A manager stopped by our table to check in and I said we were ready to settle our bill. He said he would be happy to credit us if we planned to leave early and just to let him know. That was great, but we were happy to just pay for the full two hours, even if we left early. Point is, we didn't ask. In any case, we paid our bill, including a very generous tip - and they credited us for 30 minutes of gameplay as we were leaving early. As we were about to leave, my husband got a little carried away and kept hitting balls as we were all packing up to leave. At that time, the same manager dude who was over-the-top about service just 10 minutes prior (in a weird, overzealous kind of way), marched into the bay ANGRILY and swiped his card in the machine to stop it, as a battalion of waiters came to clear our table. The guy was so incredibly rude, and frankly I didn't give a sh** about the stupid discount. If they'd paused to ask, I would have told them just to reverse the credit so my husband could keep playing, since it was Father's Day after all. It was just uncalled for. What bothered me was the rudeness and the angry, petulant manager. Some of the food was also bad (Italian flat bread pizza was disgusting and the queso with chips from the bottom of the bag). $300 I won't get back. We all agreed, next time we're going to the golf range and hitting Torero's. Rude, aggressive, and cocky manager and a so-so server. The kids talked about the mad manager all the way home. Super upsetting. 2nd time there, and frankly it's already old anyway. Nice Father's Day - thanks Topgolf. read more

the management here sucks. food is mid. not worth price. drinks used to be good and heavy pours but not anymore.

35 of the 105 reviews are ONE STAR. Maybe part of the reason the service here at this brand new, anticipated Top Golf is so horrible is because of the lack of professionalism in management. The most average review is one star and is there really anything being done about it? No. It seems as the owners care more about making money off their large corporate parties that have their "team building" events there. They do not care about the community or the average person that lives in the area for over 30 years and now pays the higher taxes that the NEW Landing has brought to Renton residents and businesses. This location also just held a hiring event and turned down at least two highly qualified servers from the area with decades of experience because they weren't a size 2 and in their twenties. Obviously their loss considering their horrible ratings. The main complaint is the rude and extremely slow service, every experienced server knows that if things are backed up and out of your control then the best thing to do is talk with your guest and make the situation better- not mean mug them and talk badly about them, as the reviews state. It is also a loss to customers and residents of the area that have been anticipating the opening of this Top Golf for years and they show up only to be disappointed by a snooty 20 something year old from California that takes 45 minutes to bring you napkins. Save yourself the trouble as there are many many other amazing options in Renton that won't break your bank or your dwindling hope for humanity! read more

I booked a party here for my son, and on the day of the event he was running a fever. I called the venue and our party booking manager, who doesn't work weekends. After 40 minutes of calling numbers that don't go to the direct party venue, being bounced around and hung up on, we were able to talk to customer service who said they'd reach out to the on site contact. They assured us that Top Golf reschedules in emergency circumstances all the time and it shouldn't an issue. On Monday I find out that our "deposit" had been applied and to rebook we have to forfeit the food and beverage minimum for our event and repay. We also have to repay all the service and gratuity fees so this is $265 on top of the $400 we paid to host the original event. We were given no local contact to reach in case of emergency or issues to reach out to day of, which might have saved their claim that they prepared all the food if we'd been able to reach someone locally. We have asked them to work with us on this event, and they have been unwilling to compromise. I am hoping this review at least gets us a response from someone in leadership. No parent wants to cancel a party because of a sick child, but in the age of covid not sending a child to a party with a fever was the right thing to do. Frustrating that the venue is not willing to work with us to reduce some of these fees. read more

went on my birthday in April. my 23rd birthday, my fiancé made a 6 person reservation $200+ dollars . we get there around 10pm and my fiancé goes to start setting up our area while I go to the bathroom. it's 10pm I had already been drinking and asked my sister to help m in the restroom as I was having issues due to having a one piece on. my sister came to help me and within 30 secs workers are banging on the door in attempt to break down the stall and begin looking in and under while I'm using the handicapped stall . I have tendinitis which is another reason I was having issues when I finished using the bathroom they told us we needed to immediately leave, we explained the issue and even showed my one pieve and why I had trouble they then got 3 security gaurds saying we needed to leave and refused to give us a refund as we never went up stairs they began refusing and threatened to call the police. when I told them I'm sure the police would love to hear you looking under the stall into a handicap stall I wonder what they'd say the workers began saying they would give a refund to my fiancé (who made the reservation ) once me and my sister left which I refused . they don't have a sign saying two people aren't allowed in a stall what if I had cerebral palsy what is the actual rule regarding this they would not give a statement for this and processed the refund and said we were banned from going I reached out to customer service and they said theyd get back to me and never did .
