This place has very clearly gone down hill. It might have been a cool place to go about 10 years ago, but the whole place is dated. This is especially true considering how expensive this place is! This place is just a glorified version of the batting cages. The only problem is you will end up spending hundreds of dollars for a subpar experience. The food is seriously so bad. The pretzel bites were cold when we got them and the macaroni balls tasted like paste. Every person working there was unbelievably rude on top of that. Lots of them were kids working summer jobs, but even the older staff needed to check their attitudes. Most of us had never been before and were looked at like we shouldn't even bother asking for help with anything. I'm not sure if we had one server or a few because they were basically not around the whole night. My friend had to get up and go to the bar herself for a drink. When the waitress finally came back she said she was dealing with a drunk guy with her manager. I'm not sure what that has to do with us, but she then proceeded to disappear afterwards. This place tries really hard to take every penny it can from you. What we got and paid for in 2 hours would have been better spent at the bowling alley. This place might have served a premium product years ago, but it doesn't anymore. Their prices should reflect the change in quality. I can't imagine I would suggest this as a night out again. It's also funny the business owner on here likes to reply to the good reviews only! The only bad review they replied to was updated to say they never actually reached back out to talk to the reviewer after giving them his "contact information". I personally like this location better!!! It's a lot more alive and even during the week is busy! It feels like a party on a week night. At night, it's lit up in blue lights which gives out a fun vibe! This will be my future go to location over the Taking Stick location. To be honest I also feel like that this location is more hip and the age ranges are more appealing vs the ages at talking stick is more of the seasoned folks. Nothing against talking stick location but I prefer the outgoing, loud, me inner city, party vibes better. Both locations are cool though and the burgers are . Always have a fun time here. You do not need to - and quite honestly it's almost more fun if you don't - have ANY experience golfing to enjoy this place. Never regret going. Food is fantastic and the strawberry lemonade margarita (or something like that. I always know it when I walk in hut seem to forget once I leave) is UH-amazing and the tacos are delish. Favorite game is the Angry Birds which is a family or date night, guaranteed good time. We ordered some good food and drinks while one of us was swinging. Firstly, the service was good as the waiter was checking on us to see if we were in need of anything, however the bay was small and was not big enough for seven people. We got a variety of food and drinks. This was my first time having food at Topgolf but it turned out to be good. We ordered all of our food from Bites & Shareables section from the menu: Cheese Fries, Signature Nachos and Tres Tacos (vegetarian). The Tres Tacos were very bland and did not taste that great. It had tacos, avocado salsa, lime crema, pico de gallo, cotija cheese, chipotle slaw and corn tortillas and some sort of spicy ingredient was missing from it. Cheese Fries were simple and tasted good with jalapeno toppings on it. Signature Tacos we ordered were the best. It had tortilla chips, pinto beans, pepper jack, cheddar, monterey jack with guacamole and salad with tomatoes on the side. In fact, we all liked Signature Tacos so much that we had to order it again!!! Overall all the food was good and the group really enjoyed it. For drinks: I ordered Top Golf Sangria as a drink which had Pinot Grigio, Vodka, Aperol, white peach, mango, citrus sour, and pineapple. Overall, the food was good and I would recommend trying out some of these sides while swinging at Topgolf. Topgolf donates $1 from every order to the Make-A-wish foundation which was really sweet. PROS: Tasty Food Good for groups CONS: It would be better if the menu had some directions/signs for Vegetarian, Gluten-free dishes. First, I always enjoy visiting. The environment, food, and service are okay. However, you can add TopGolf to the list of AZ companies that does not accept mobile ID (e.g. AZ Mobile ID or Apple Wallet). This is frustrating because there is no clear communication or signage to plan accordingly ahead of time. Plus it makes for inconsistency from business to business. When asked why, the attendant simply said it's up to businesses to decide. Looks like TopGolf corporate can do some modernizing in this area. If state and federal agencies (police, TSA, etc) accept these forms of ID, I don't get why someone checking ID's for drinks won't? Hopefully I can revise this review one day to a five star like it should be. read more

I love TopGolf! We just celebrated my daughter's 10th birthday there. We live in San Diego but we hosted her party at the Roseville, Ca. location because we were there for her gymnastics competition. However, my husband and I were very disappointed by the service. We booked our party at 6:30 pm. The policy and contract that we signed stated that parties would have 20-min. prior to the event to setup and decorate. We we arrived at 6:10 p we were told that our area was not ready. Our guest arrived at 6:30 and we were still not at our bay. Our guest waited until 7:00 pm until our bay was ready and then we had to decorate in 10-min. I was so disappointed and embarrassed. The manager didn't give us a discount. We were told we would be given extra time at our Bays. That didn't work because the party was over at 8:00 pm because the girls had an 8:00 am gymnastics competition the next morning. While I love TopGolf I'm very disappointed in the Roseville location. Our host Jamal was amazing and he did everything he could to make it up. But TopGolf should really organize their schedules better, especially when customers spend over $700 for one hour and it was a 10th birthday. read more

I had never been to Top Golf, so when my friend told me she lived down the street it was a must on our schedule. Getting there: I didn't drive, but I remember seeing the lights when we exited the freeway. Experience: For a Halloween night it was pretty crowded. We were able to get our own bay (no neighbors), and our waitress was the shit! She consistently checked up on us, we even asked her to do some hits with us and she was down. For the night, between 5 people, a couple rounds of drinks and 2.5 hours of golfing it came out to a little under $300, which I was surprised about because we ordered buckets of drinks each round. read more

I was so surprised to see on a Tuesday morning at 10 AM, right when they open, for there to be a line out the door and starting to curl around the building. Little did I know, Tuesdays are discounted for gameplay. Bays can be reserved online in advance. It took a little over an hour for us to get to our bay. Each bay is separated by a plastic screen for distancing and tables are wiped down between groups. I didn't see the golf clubs get wiped down though. Sanitizing wipes are available upon request. Wings and the pretzel bites are always my favorites to get at top golf! read more

The dinner spread had a Mexican flair, with a build your own nachos and tacos buffet. The food was good! Drinks were topped off as needed and plates taken away swiftly. Golfing came afterwards so that players could perfect their swings to be top shots and also be the top dog on the green. With reservation times as early as 9 AM and late night times as well, it makes it easy for you to get in your swingtime while saying "Top of the morning to ya" or to yell "Fore!" at the top of your lungs in the late evening. read more

I've been here quite a few times to golf during the weekend's corporate events and birthday parties however this was the first time I've ever been for a game party on Sunday. I came as a guest as my buddy had a bay reserved for the duration of the football game a.k.a. Washington Redskins-Cardinals game. This is a deal if you have a couple of people who don't have top golf carts or just coming for the first time and you want to bring them along as a guest. Given that we showed up at 11 AM we ordered some Mimosa's (a carafe) along with brunch items ranging from French toast & 3 burgers with fries & some tater tot's... did I say Mimosa's? Food looks good but lacks that "over the top" or signature flavor to it. You can't get anything done differently to your food (add some garlic or mix something from another food item that you like and combine it. The cooks just don't deviate so it is what it is (so says the server)!. The only choice is how you want your burger cooked. We had a pretty good view inside to be able to look at the other games as they were going on but one of the downsides is that you don't get to really hear the sound of the football games while playing... you have to go inside the bar area for that. The group I was with for the most part was cool but not many were golfers so watching them hit the ball was comical. We all spent more time watching the game and talking. Lots of options for doing a game party but something to consider if your looking for something different from the norm (standard bar). I think you can get it up to eight people but make sure the group you're doing it with is ready to have fun, spend some coin and know what to expect with the food. 3.5 but giving the benefit of this experience read more

I have been at Top Golf in Gilbert a few times now. Very different experience each time. A huge recommendation would be to make sure you reserve your bay ahead of time as the walk in wait can be quite long or not available at all. Especially if it's on a popular day, holiday, or weekend. My friend was celebrating her birthday here and had reserved a bay ahead of time. We were on the second level. There is plenty of parking in the Topgolf parking lot. The place itself is very clean. It has a game area, a restaurant, and an event space. Our server was Joshua and he was great. Very attentive. He came by our table quite frequently to make sure that we all had drinks and food. We never had to wait long for anything. I had a Moscow Mule, a hazy IPA, I think it was called church, music, and, of course, my favorite at Top Golf, the nachos. They are delicious. We got ours with steak. They had a kids menu, I ordered my son, a grilled cheese with tater tots and milk. I think their prices are very reasonable. The rest of the table got a margarita flatbread, burger and fries, pretzel bites, wings, so needless to say we were going really healthy. We had two hours at our bay. That felt like enough to get a good golf in, have a few rounds of drink, and eat some delicious food. I thought it was so nice, Joshua brought out small clubs for my son. I'm so glad he did because my son had probably the most fun out of all of us. His favorite work part was waving for the ball to get out. Overall, this is a really fun experience.
