Went here to celebrate my birthday. All in all, a great time. We didn't have a reservation, didn't figure we needed one on a Tuesday night. We were told it was a 35-40 minute wait. A bit surprising considering they weren't that busy. We headed to the restaurant to eat while we waited. Service was a little slow, but otherwise fine. Right after we ordered our food, we were told the bay was ready, exactly 35 minutes! My crew decided they would prefer to eat in the restaurant instead of transferring to the bay. We were told it would be another 35-40 minute wait, figured that would be about right. Food came out and was very good. Finished eating, expecting our bay would be ready anytime. Ended up being almost 50 minutes before we were told it was ready. Got up to our bay and there were several that were empty, so don't really understand the long wait. Bay host was great, enjoyed playing the top golf classic. We'll go back again, but may try a reservation to see if that makes an even better experience. read more

TopGolf for the win!! This year for Christmas we decided to make memories with our adult kids instead of buying gifts. I came up with the idea of TopGolf and we had the best time. The food was great, the games were fun. From our low handicap soon to be son in law to me who has absolutely no skills...a good time was had by all. We enjoyed a variety of appetizers and beers as well as Bloody Mary's. My favorite appetizers were the Boneless Buffalo Wings and the Short-Rib Flatbread. And, the Bloody Mary's were bomb! Whenever the chance comes up, I'm all in for heading over to Top Golf! My husband and I were particularly excited when this location in Gilbert opened up as its closer to us. It's a fun time to play the different golfing challenges depending on what we're in the mood for. The set up is similar to bowling; when it's each persons turn, we hit about 5-6 balls at at time so we're not constantly switching between players. I'm not good at golf by any means but I enjoy coming here more than I do going to play mini golf! Minus one star only because sometimes it's hard to track down the server to order food and get refills on drinks. I totally understand that it's a busy place though, especially on the weekends. Great time to hang for golf. Annoying part is you can only hang out in the bay while you are on play time. This means if you've ordered food and it comes once your play time is up, you have to GTFO and carry your food, drinks, silverware, etc downstairs to the bar area to eat. Stupid. Waitress wouldn't let us have 5-10more min at the bay to finish eating even though it wasn't busy / loads of open bays. read more

Horrible experience! Try to hit a few balls before a big match coming up this week. Was constantly harassed and pushed for my credit card information before I even started playing. About every third ball that I hit, The computer kept interrupting stopping the game and asking me if I wanted to add more time and spend more money. After hitting about 12 balls, a waiter came up and demanded I give my credit card because they thought I was going to run out without paying? Something is definitely wrong in the society when a man can't hit a bucket of balls without being interrupted eight times. I was very disgusted at that point and I decided to leave because I was no longer concentrating on my swing, I was now thinking about how much of a rip off this place was and what a scam this whole thing is. Unfortunately I had to move them down a star with our experience here the other day. My family came down here from Cleveland and we decide to get together here to play some golf, shuffleboard and pool. Made a reservation, don't, unless you plan on only playing 1 game. Wait staff dropped a piece of our pizza, team lead apologized and said a new pizza would be out in 5 minutes - we never received. They did make up by removing the charge. At 45 minutes, tried to extend time to play, can't because we were on a reservations, even though there was empty bats all around us. 1 hour cost is $100 (with drinks), definitely not worth it. This place was pretty cool. I actually go to top golf all the time and I like going to the ones out of town because it is a different experience. This was actually the first time going where I didn't pay money to reserve a bay. I walked straight in and I appreciated that experience. It was different because it was just two of us. I got at least three games in for an hour of play time. I ate before I got there so I didn't have to order any food. I don't like ordering the food, playing and eating with dirty hands. I think that I enjoyed the quality this go round. I didn't feel rushed with play time. They sat me in a perfect section where I hit all the balls. I felt like Tiger Woods that day. Went to the Gilbert location On Sunday, 02/02/2020 for my son's 10th birthday. Let me tell you, the staff from top to bottom was AMAZING! KC, the manager, got us all set up... Clubs for the little birthday boy, got the computer all set up, let us know about a $20 coupon, and made sure we were all set. Liz was our server... And she never let us wait for anything. I came here for a company outing. There were about 50 of us or so and let me say, Topgolf's customer service was AMAZING! I was never without a drink in my hand (which could be the reason for my pounding headache) but they were so on it, I was seriously impressed. The food was of your typical fare, but definitely a cut above. The specialty drinks were amazing and many came with souvenir cups. I opted for the plastic patron bottle that housed a berry Paloma cocktail. Delicious and strong! In all, Topgolf was just as fun as I had heard and in fact exceeded my expectations. VERY DISAPPOINTING .... Arrived at 9:05 AM to hit balls quietly, by myself, before the heat of the day. I arrived with Iced Tea in hand, then instructed to throw it away because you can't bring a beverage inside. Ok. I then went to pay and was told I must provide my phone #. I prefer not to share my phone #, especially when hitting golf balls. Why must I give personal information to hit golf balls? I shared my preference not to provide my phone #, simply wanting to pay the $60. I was told I must provide a phone #. I walked out. Hard to keep coming back. Top Golf was one of my favorite places. Was really pleased that they allowed me to make a reservation on my birthday to play with my family. Everything was going great until just after we ordered food. Right after we ordered food, we were told that we would need to leave the bay because of a "special event". We had only been there for an hour. We had never heard of that. Especially since I needed to pay extra to reserve the bay. To top it off, it was just our bay. All of the others allowed people to stay. We asked for help from the manager. Rather than offer to move us or the special event, they said they would refund our meal (that we never got) and gave us a coupon to come back. But it still ruined the day. Top Golf. I love Topgolf! I feel there is always a fun time to be had by anyone, golfer or not. I personally had never golfed in my life prior to visiting Topgolf a few years back. Some days I am an awesome golfer, beating those in my party who actually do golf. Booyah, in the target, again! The food is delicious and the servers are usually pretty awesome as well. I love their doughnut filled things as a nice sweet treat. The I also tend to enjoy the music that they play every time I am in there and love that the bays have their own heat source during the cooler months. I feel it is a little bit costly to partake in on the regular but still a fun spot to visit every now and again. When I first visited topgolf, it was a Saturday and they had a guy walking around making balloon animals for the littles for tips. I am not sure if he is still there on Saturdays but it was definitely a cool things to have. They have a few waiting areas and "play" areas that have a wii, giant jenga and some other fun things to do as well. Be aware, they do have a wait a lot of the time during their peak hours. Which having something else to do while waiting (wii, etc) is very helpful. As I said, this place is good for people of all walks. They have left handed clubs upon request for the leftys and we have taken our 8 year and 11 year old there and they tend to enjoy it as well. The membership card is a bit of a pain because I lose mine, without a doubt, every single time. Granted it's only $1 to replace cards ($5 for a new card) but still... I know I'm out an additional $1 almost every time. You are a member for life upon sign up and it isn't too difficult to get a new card so long as the line isn't too long. A recent lunch at TopGolf was top notch! Burgers were nicely charred on the outside and juicy juicy on the inside. So juicy they ran down the sides of my companion's mouth! The accompanying fries are standard; a side salad can be substituted for an up-charge. The tropical fruit mai tai was tasty and quite colorful. I'm always concerned with order accuracy when a server doesn't write it down, however, our server/bartender Jacob was not just on par, but birdied the hole. Note that staff and seating were appropriately masked and socially-dustant. Overall, our experience avoided the sand traps and rough - landing firmly on the green. read more

I was super stinkin excited that the sleepy East Valley got this in their hood. This is more family-oriented and relaxing than the Scottsdale one. If you haven't picked up golf as your game, you seriously are missing out. You certainly still get your share of entertainment from people watching. Ladies, where else would you have an open access to men literally having their tush pivoted to you most of the time? The staff here is incredible. Our server was friendly and attentive despite having to cater to the needs of little ones and adults between two bays. Backup servers and bussers always made sure our table was clear and tidied up. Food is more your upscale bar gamut. The Bloody Mary is uhmazing! But if you are going to offer a bar of the condiments, make sure it is stocked. Running out of celery, bacon or olives for a Bloody Mary is total buzzkill. Was disappointed in the sangria as it tasted watered down. Love love love the wings, flatbreads and tacos. The highlight was the donut holes with the filling shots of raspberry, cream and chocolate. The setup is very similar to the Scottsdale location; though, most of the seating is high chairs rather than the abundant lounging loveseats. Our bay was on the second floor and perfectly situated in the middle, close to the bar and all the TV screens. No worries gentlemen, each bay is equipped with a flat screen any how. Parking is huge and found it relatively easy to grab a spot. However, this location definitely lacks in efficiency when you are getting your player's card and reserving a bay. Half my group went online but still stood in a long line, despite we hadn't hit their peak hours. So if you can grin and bear it, this is perfect outing spot for a Sunday Funday! read more

Great place to celebrate a 60th Birthday and ask for Sarah F., she is a great server and you can tell she loves life. The kitchen did an excellent job, the food was prepared just right. We had the slider Chix&Waff, grilledChicken sandwich(2), Korean fried cauliflower, backyard wings(my personal favorite)turkey avocado wrap, pretzel bites, cheddar beef sliders and farmhouse flatbread. All that and a round of golf. A great lunch spot. Now for the golf: it's target golf, so aim for the flags. Don't be in a hurry and breath deeply. Plenty of fans blowing cooling breeze from both sides, very pleasant for 113 degrees(oh yes, "it's a dry heat" they like to say down here).
