This was the first time I did anything golf related in my entire life and I'd say it exceeded my expectations. The facility is clean, especially considering the amount of people who were there that night. Lisa, our server, was incredibly high energy and a lovely person to interact with and she took care of our group exceptionally well. The food was good, however the service was slower than I hoped. It was tough to get some good shots going, but once you get used to it, it becomes more enjoyable as time goes by with more reps. I'd say book more time than you think, because an hour can fly by quickly. I am black and some concerns going into it was the diversity of clientele. But there were many groups of different backgrounds, so if you are a black group or a group of color I wouldn't shy away from this place especially if you haven't golfed before. read more

Poor service and organization, only one bar open on second floor with one bar tender. The other bars were had atleast 4 bartenders just waiting around I am not understanding What was they thinking. Jazz's personable service was amazing. That being said, I was highly disappointed that we couldn't choose where we got to golf. We're spending hundreds of dollars to golf somewhere we didn't want. We asked for upstairs multiple time and they forced us to golf on the first floor. Meanwhile, it was a Wednesday night and a lot of the bays were empty. We watched walk ins that came after us get assigned to the top floor. I mentioned it to 2 different team members and they responded with an "oh". What's the point of making a reservation for a Birthday and not getting to choose where you golf? Also, the drinks were disgusting. The shots were good. But we all disliked our drinks, we sent back one but we really wanted to send back all of them, we just didn't want to make a fuss. Also the game was busted. How can this be, you guys just opened ? My cousins shot their ball multiple times in the hole and the game didn't register. Took the fun out of it. The food was good as well. Been to Top Golf's in New Jersey and in Virginia and unfortunately the one I live near in Canton and the one my family has been excited to go to since we heard about the opening was the worst one. We were willing to spend more money here and make it a monthly family event but it just doesn't seem worth it to us. Hope you get better and stay in business. Had to wait 10 to 15 mins in bar for someone to even ask if we wanted something. Took bout 40 mins for a grilled chicken sandwich, which wasn't great. For 13 bucks, expected a better piece of chicken. Both in bar,rest and in bay, we had to ask for napkins with our food. Pretty basic stuff. Not too impressed. I really hate leaving these types of reviews, but it's clear Topgolf has no interest in their customers' satisfaction, and anyone thinking of heading there should be aware of that. I went as part of a group of four to their New Year's Eve event. We purchased the VIP package, but they massively dropped the ball on the deliverables then and since. They gave us four fewer drink tickets than what we paid for. The "premium" drink tickets as advertised weren't what we were given. The appetizer platter we were supposed to have when we arrived came 45 minutes late. The buffet that was supposed to be only for the VIPs came out an hour early and there were no workers making sure non-VIPs weren't taking that food. We didn't get any because others took it all and it was never refilled. The lights to the entire range were shut off a half hour early, so we were left there in the dark with time we had already paid for. We are an easy-going group and we can overlook some things, particularly when they had only recently opened. But these issues were easily preventable, and when we paid as much as we did, they should be able to deliver on the basics. Their lack of response since then has only reinforced the realization that they only care about the bottom line, customers be damned. I sent them multiple messages directly and gave them more than a month to respond. Crickets. It's clear they have no interest in their customers' experiences; only money. Go to X-Golf or another indoor facility for your virtual golfing. At least there they'll appreciate your business. It's a shame, that after years of build-up and excitement for a Topgolf coming to Boston, that this is how they think it's acceptable to operate. UPDATE: Hugh's comment to this post is nothing more than another empty gesture from this company. Despite me sending a DM, as requested, several days later, not even an acknowledgement. So ummm awkward... I hate leaving bad reviews but... our bill was very very not accurate. It started with receiving multiple receipts after trying to use a $200 gift card that when the math was done didn't add up at all and we were being way over charged it started with the shift change which was 15 mins before our time was up which ten mins prior we had asked for another round of drinks which was never received then when introduced to the new waitresses we asked about the status of the drinks and we were then charged again for the same drinks that took still another 20 mins to get (which I get it takes longer because it was shift change but should have been double changed) then while talking to the manger the waitress took the drinks that had just been placed on the table minutes ago away while the manger was still standing there which he after bringing it up did take off the bill which was given however we had to wait even longer which was annoying because why would you take attention full drinks that you placed on the table mind ago just because the food time was up clearly we were taking to the manager..., idk the whole thing was weird like really fun event until the bill came and then .... read more

Overpriced for starters. We went to the Canton Ma location and it was snowing lightly when we arrived. None of the sensors were working due to the snow. Hello, this is New England. They didn't plan for this??? We were freezing the whole time. Food was horrible. Very overpriced. Microwaved food. Came with no utensils or napkins. They eventually bright napkins but by then the food was cold. Bill was wrong. Server took my drink away before I was done. Yikes. The golf is fun but the service is really not good. We've been here many times and have enjoyed the game. That said we have not been here a single time there wasn't an issue with our service. Food takes forever to come out and is often cold meaning it sat waiting for someone to bring it to us. Servers are usually quick to come take our initial orders but rarely come back to check on us. I can't tell you how many time I've have to hunt down our server to get a check. What makes this worse is how often I see staff and mangers standing around goofing around or moving around as if there's nothing going on. It's a shame really. read more

The golf is fine but we have been waiting on our food for over an hour and are getting half answers when we ask what's going on. They offered to extend our time but that doesn't help- we don't want to stay longer, we just want to eat. Our waitress is lovely- it's not her fault! Topgolf itself was fun, food/service was meh. The waitstaff did not check on us enough and there was no way to get their attention without leaving the bay. There should be a way to request service or order right from the Topgolf kiosk. Heaters did ok with the temp (20-25 degrees) and winds, still needed something to warm us up, but they were out of soup and hot chocolate. Finally, they had cheese fries and tots on the menu so I asked if they could do cheese tots (I thought it seemed reasonable). What I was served was tots with a side of aioli and when I asked if I could get a side of cheese sauce instead (they also has pretzel bites with warm cheese sauce on the menu), I was told "We can't do that." Makes no sense. I would go back to play and drink (didn't try any but drink menu was bigger than the food menu), but would eat before I go. read more

You can put your food in and then barely get everything you ordered & wait over an hour for the one thing you're waiting for to come out. The bar is extremely slow even with them having a bar on every floor it's still soo slowww. The service alone will make you not want to come back to this location!! Golf experience was fine, what you'd expect at top golf. The service is terrible. Ordered beers at the tables by the bar, and the servers never brought them but charged us. At the golf bays, we ordered food, and after 1.5 hours we were told they have no idea when the food is going to be out. Quite disappointed by this location. We frequently visit canton location and often visit when in other states. We made the trip to travel from Boston and invited our friends whose first time it was. When we arrived the signin TV was not loading. We had to ask for help twice before anyone came over. When someone did come over they said I need to go get more help to fix the problem. We waited again. What was probably only 15/20 mins did feel like wasted time when we are on a time clock. Once fixed we asked to order drinks and food, the server then told us our server is on break so he will take our order but he had to go to another bay first. Again another wait. Once we placed an order with him our drinks came. We never saw him again. Our server that was on break came back, we approached him asking if we could place an order through him. His response I need to get your table transferred to me before I can. I thought did you? Could you not write down our order then ring it in once transferred or ring it in and add our table? I mean that's what every restaurant does to meet guest expectations. Overall not worth the price, the service team we dealt with needs to be grateful for the people that tip them. read more
