Today we had a very bad experience. I don't know what the issue was, but the people at the front desk were acting as if we were criminals. We had two reservations paying $35 for each bay, but were told they did not have any bays available and we had to wait for 45 minutes. I had to talk to at least five employees and each one starts by saying bays were available, but soon they go inside and come back saying that those had gone. Finally we got two bays. Also we noticed couple of bays unoccupied for the two hours we were thThe one star provided above is for the one amazing employee (I believe his name was Nad) who served us at the bay. Update: 7/30/3018: Here is the secret behind their attitude. I came to know that they had expensive packages for multi bay reservations. If you have more than six people and do not want to pay heavily, make separate reservations for each bay, but never let them know that you are together. read more

Very disappointing even on a Wednesday night they were extremely busy to the point where it was hard to get any good service. I came here after taking my son to I-fly for his birthday hoping we could grab some dinner while playing golf. I was appalled that they charge customers per hour for a bay. The top golf in Alexandria does not do this, if I would have known I would have opted to make that drive. They charge $35 per hour so we were looking to spend $70 for 2 hours (we had people on the way to join us) and that didn't include play time or food/beverages. We waited 20 minutes for a bay then when we got up there our waiter suggested we eat at their restaurant area before playing to save a quick $35 so that's what we did. We went down to the restaurant and had a very annoying dinner where we had to hunt down our waiter to order food/drinks. (Still tipped him $10 because I don't believe it's his fault there is no organization/ they were understaffed) aneways, after this frustrating birthday dinner we went back to ask for a bay and this time the lady at the desk said it would be a 50 minute wait. It was 8pm and my son had school the next day so I said no thank you leaving pretty bummed that the plan I envisioned for my sons birthday dinner fell through. As we were leaving we saw another family stop by the front desk to ask for a booth and they were told to wait as well. My family was saying goodbye to one another (we are Spanish so this took a while 5/10 mins) when I saw the same family get called up for a bay. WTF!!! I personally love top golf but I will never come to this location again. read more

First time was an office outing, we ALL had a great experience! The bays are comfortable lounge style, great atmosphere, service and the food was perfect. The live music during the summer was great deal! We are looking forward to book a banquet room for meetings and holiday party. read more

Let me start by saying this place knows how to make up for a bad experience. Our whole group is completely amazed by the way everything was handled. We had an incredibly great time. We had our play time comped! Our server was the best! She was completely on top of things, was very patient explaining the different games. This is what I was expecting and they delivered without any question. I am the one now apologizing for not posting the amended review earlier. Topgolf you are now our favorite place to hang out. All of my friends and I are now loyal customers. The manager was able to greet us and made us feel welcomed. Hands down you are the best! read more

Made a evening of it here, with out of town friends. Food is not their speciality, it's quick bar food, the golf practice is worth putting up with the sub par food. read more

Our end of summer event went very well and all was right on target! We had a blast. read more

Went on a Sunday morning with family and didn't have a wait time. Staff was friendly, service was excellent. Would recommend anyone to go to this location. read more

I am a huge fan of TopGolf. I have been to several including Alexandria, Houston, and Arizona. The environment is so great people of all walks of life can come here for fun. Driving range? Maybe, but thats not what it is all about there are TV's everywhere! pool tables, shuffle board, Xbox's and plenty to do! Not a golfer? you will be sure to have fun trying to hit one of the many lit up targets at night. I have only played once I usually go straight to the terrace bar for a drink and some Mushi :). This location specifically has some catching up to do! The staff seams overwhelmed still and they aren't allowing anyone to play on the bottom floor. . . which I found odd. Give them a month and I'm sure they will have it all running perfectly! THE VALET SERVICE IS GREAT! I would highly suggest you take advantage of the valet. The valets are extremely nice and the system for tickets is super cool! Everyone working here greeted me with a smile, the food is excellent, the alcohol selection is vast and the environment is undoubtedly wonderful. read more

The driving range is fun and the food is for the most part tolerable. The wait can be long and the food/drinks are definately overpriced. Come when it isn't busy for the best experience, otherwise you will blow a load of money at the bar waiting for a golf bay. It's hard to notice the food and drink charges piling up, especially when you're playing golf with a group of friends. Your bill will go north of $100 quickly if you're not careful. read more

I did not golf but my husband and his family did. Even though I just watched it was pretty fun. They great you on the way in and say a little good bye on the way out. There were 6 of us only myself and mother in law did not golf. Our service was really good. We had several people come make sure we had everything or if we needed something else. We only had a couple of starters so I can't speak for dinner food. The cheese fries were really good. The flavor was just wonderful. Although, if you want to hit a few balls it's pricey, but it's definitely an "elite" type of place...so you might want to try a different golf range...want to have fun hitting balls into targets and testing how good you are...this is the place. read more

Cool atmosphere, decent drink selection, and good food. However, service always seems to be an issue at the bays even though there is plenty of staff that seem to be standing around. Getting drinks from the bar usually seems to be the fastest route. It's a neat place if you haven't tried it. read more

We just had a birthday party here and the klchildrwn had a blast. So grateful to our party host Noel who made our event flawless and without a hiccup. Topgolf - Golf Near Me - Ashburn, Virginia

This place is fun and different (from the usual movies or bowling). The prices are pretty decent if you go with a group to split the bill (for a golf game). The bar is nice and usually pretty quick. Food is tasty and the servers are attentive. There are really busy times that cause for long wait times to play or order a drink. Other than that, this is a fun spot to go out with friends or family with! read more

Showed up super excited to try this place out. When I arrived with my family, all of which were here for the weekend from out of state, the parking lot was completely full, with the exception of about a hundred spaces that had been designated only for valet. Cars were circling the lot over and over, including myself looking for someone to leave, all the while the unused valet spots were wide open. Finally after about 10 minutes of hunting for a spot I found one, but in the meantime my brother, his wife, and two babies gave up and left. Nonetheless, myself, son, mother, and girlfriend stuck it out, and went on in. We waited in line for about 30 minutes before reaching the counter to check in, where as a first timer, it wasn't really explained how it worked at all, with the exceptions of generic questions that I thought of myself. We finally got checked in, and was told that it would be about an hour to an hour and a half before getting a lane, which I figured would be the case with how busy the place was. So we went upstairs to the patio and hung out the entire time. The staff in the bar/waiting area were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. After an hour and forty five minutes of waiting, I went down to the concierge desk to see how much longer the wait would be, and I was quoted another thirty to forty five minutes. By that time it would've been about a two and a half hour wait, which to me would've been a bit absurd to drive some golfballs. I asked to speak to the operations manager, and he came to address my concerns. I explained everything that I'd experienced up to that point and that we weren't going to be able to wait any longer. It was a bit of a let down considering how excited I was to patron this place. The entire first floor was shut down, which has thirty lanes that were going unused, and I assume that's a huge part of the problem, but with that being the case, there should be procedures in place to keep the wait down, especially during peak hours, such as putting a maximum hour usage per lane. There were several guest that tied up lanes the entire time we were waiting. I totally see the value in the place, and the excitement was definitely there, along with how great the facility is put together, but there are some major kinks that need to be worked out and addressed before it gets a 5 Star rating from me! read more

This is a bit of a mixed review. I went to this location on this past Sunday with 5 friends (6 total in our group). We had to wait for 15 min to get a bay but that was expected given the fact the place was pretty crowded. Once we got to the bay we ordered a round of drinks and a few appetizers/entrees - a few people didn't know what they wanted so we told the server to come back for a second order that would include food for 3 of the remaining people. Those that ordered food first got their orders pretty quickly -- less than 10 minutes I want to say. But the second order took over an hour and 2 times following-up with the server and kitchen to see if the order had been put in. After the second time checking with the kitchen the server said that the kitchen claimed the food went out but he understood that it never got to us - at this point we looked into the kitchen (we were sitting at a bay right next to the kitchen) and saw what looked to be our food waiting to be run out. We then saw the order come out to the wrong bay but stopped the food runner on his way back to the kitchen since we were pretty sure it was our order. It also took us almost an hour to get a round of waters - and when they did come out it was only 3 waters that we had to share between 6 of us. So overall the service was very bad. That being said the manager realized this without any of us having to say anything and took 25% off the check. We also had a young kid who I think had just gone through training - not sure the issues we experienced were actually his fault but that could have accounted for some of the miscommunication about where the order should go. read more

It is always a fun time but the wait on weekends is ridiculous! There have been multiple nights the wait time was over 2 hours. There is pool, TVs, music, food and a huge bar to pass the wait time. read more

I have been here several times now and have had a great time. i have been lucky not to have had to stand in line due to attending a party or corporate function. Just a great way to hang out with friends for a couple of hours. read more

We had a great time at Top Golf yesterday! It was our first time there. The "Lets Play" staff helped us get member cards. We only waited a few mins for a bay to open up. Bathrooms were super clean. Our server Amy was great! After shift exchange we had another server named Tee, who was also great. Their bloody Mary's are AMAZING! It was over an hour drive for us, but we will definitely be back! read more

Coming here is pretty much my favorite thing to do on the weekend. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, surrounded by my favorite sport! Fun atmosphere and great place to hang with a group of friends and socialize. Not a fan of going hungry as the service was not ideal. Food came cold and took way longer than a typical wait. I live close by and have attended several times. Great option for watching sports, but the actual golf and bay experience depends on if you get a good server and I have encountered both positive and negative experiences. read more

We just had the worst TG experience. We arrived at 6 pm after driving an hour to get there on a Wednesday night and are told it's a 2.5 hour wait. This was mortifying since we organized a special night for my son and had another family join us. I tried to book a bay reservation online earlier but it wouldn't allow me to finish the reservation - must have been fully booked. The website should have said that rather than just not allow you to finish the reservation. Apparently, if you are a walk in, you're supposed to make a reservation a week before if you want a bay. We were told there were a lot of corporate groups tonight so that's why there isn't room for walk ins. TG management knows when they have corporate events so perhaps they should staff up to allow walk ins. Decided to stay for food at the off chance the 2.5 hour wait was actually less. Stayed 2 hours and still didn't get a text we were getting a bay. We were told there was no service at the tables so you have to scan the menu QR code to order online. Get it together TG. People come looking forward to a good time but this was the absolute worst night I've had out in a long time. My son, his friend Amy my friends I invited for a good time were all disappointment. What a waste of time and money. I may never come back even though I've hosted several parties and corporate events there due to tonight's experience. read more

My first time and my last time there i went with my girlfriend on Sunday night to enjoy the weekend every thing was fine we order food and time of the game was done and we were waiting for our food when the food came the server told us we have to get up and got o the bar and eat and they didn't even need the station half of the stations was empty and not that many people so disrespectful and mean they came to apologize from us but what is the point of the customer service i spend more than $100 there for only 2 people and i would be more happy if i trash that money instead of going there so disrespectful read more

A bit expensive but likely worth it when they get the kinks worked out. Think you should at least be able to call ahead for list esp if you have been there and they can drop you if your not when they call you up? A 2 hour wait for such a size facility is too much and sure to cost them some biz if they can't figure out a way to make that process smoother. Ordered food and they never placed order, so I chalk that to novice peeps. However, management is definitely friendly and was more than willing to get us the good and not even charge us since it took almost 2 hours for that too. Management is obviously working to make it right, just need some time and obviously a Sat night first week open will have some hiccups. Looking forward to going back when they get it together. Def a fun place and experience. read more

Great facility, decent food, decent drinks. My event experience was very poor. I reserved two bays along with the food/liquor package to celebrate a birthday and had an inconsistent experience. The server was very uninformed and the event coordinator was confused. They told us at first that the call bar we paid for was 3 hours, then it was down to 2, then they shut down our golf time after 2 hours, when the contract stated 3 hours. We paid over $800 and did not have a good experience. read more

I love that this place is much newer, cleaner, and bigger than the topgolf in kingstowne. However the Service here is super slow. It took over 30 min to get drinks and food on a Monday afternoon. We ended spending 5 hours there (Bc most of the time we were waiting for food). The food was mediocre but not what you really come here for. I loved that you didn't have to get your own golf balls like the other location. I was disappointed that they ran out of mojitos and frosé when I went :( But totally great for groups! read more

Its so many things to do in Ashburn now! I love the bar area in this spot and the golfing experience is VIP.

Had a great time at the Loudon location today with my daughter and her friends. The service was great and everyone was very helpful in getting us set up and explaing how everything worked. We ordered lunch while there and one of our orders did not arrive with the rest of the food. A little bit after we asked about it, someone came over and apologized for the foods late arrival. They didn't charge us for that order and added time to our reservation. While it wasn't a huge inconvenience for us, I very much appreciated the proactive way Topgolf handled it. The only bad comment I have is that we had to wait 45 minutes for a bay even with a reservation. Even with that will definitely be back! read more

So I've reviewed TopGolf before and expressed my thoughts and views on their general customer service. Today I would like to speak to using this facility for business, specifically business development. I elected to bring a very high profile client to TopGolf hoping for a relaxed atmosphere to talk business. I was fortunate to have Tres (The Platinum Sales Manager ) attend to us personally. His attention to detail, exemplary customer service and professionalism made our outing an outstanding and successful experience both personally and professionally. If you're looking for something unique and separate from the typical BD luncheon, then I strongly recommend considering TopGolf. Thank you Tres, great job!! read more

Really pricey- like ridiculously over priced- $45/hour?! I can go play a regular round of golf for 5 hours and pay $100! Inquired about memberships but no one came to talk to us- this is a huge business error. Food was great (OMG injectable cinnamon donuts) and the golf was a lot of fun!!! Food came out within a reasonable about of time. Our server was attentive but there was a lot of staff just standing around. We will be returning for another shot- hopefully it doesn't disappoint again. Also- didn't know it was family friendly- we didn't come with kids this time but will in the future! UPDATE: top golf double charged me- have to now dispute the charge on my account bc their credit card system went down the night we were there (we had to pay with cash). I never signed my credit card slip and they still charged me? Isn't that illegal? read more

I'm so obsessed with this place!!!! Price is reasonable if you split it with people and food is great, love the vibes of the place.

Topgolf is really, really cool. There's no denying that. Even if (like me) you're terrible at golf, you'll still probably have a great time. The only downside is how incredibly expensive it is and how they try to price gouge you at every turn. We had both our card and a friend's card to split the cost of the bay between and each card had to have the minimum amount of money on it for the full cost of what we were paying for - and you can only add value to your card in the increments they specify ($10, $25, etc.) which almost guarantees you'll be leaving money on your card when you go home. Not a problem if you come here regularly but if you don't it could be. Not to mention it's $5 for the card alone. In terms of the bays, the third floor is definitely most desirable in my mind because then you're on the top. To me, the second floor is kind of odd. This place does fill up quickly, particularly when the weather is nice. But if you go early it's much less crowded and cheaper (weekends before noon are $25/hour). Though I think the appeal of being there at night with it all lit up appeals to a lot of people. Technically each bay is supposed to be capped at 6 but that does not seem to be strictly enforced, particularly if you plan on ordering a lot of food and drinks. As far as the food goes, it's decent but I find it's more gimmicky than anything else. The brunch options aren't very plentiful but they'll let you order off the regular menu. All in all, you can't come here and not have fun. And not spend a lot of money. read more

I visited Topgolf with my husband in January for a birthday outing. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. We also had brunch and drinks which was spectacular. My husband had the mini chicken and waffles and had a breakfast burrito. Never would I have thought that hitting a bunch of golf balls would have been so much fun. And I beat my husband...BAM! read more

First the food. I would say the food is mediocre. It is on par with any other chain restaurant like Ruby Tuesday or Applebees. The menu is more original but there is nothing special about it. The golf- I highly enjoy the experience of going but it is way overpriced. For two people to golf and eat, it usually costs about $150 by the time we are done. Worth the experience but only on rare occasions. read more

Mediocre food, expensive 'golf' and a 'no guns' sign. Still conceal carried there since signs don't carry the weight of law, and I didn't see it until we were on the way out. Won't be back. No guns, no funds. read more

This place is tons of fun for both golfers and non golfers. Wait times are long, and plan on spending a lot of money. The food is good and the beer selection is good. But we had several technical issues that led to a lot of frustration. At one point the game completely restarted and all of our scores were wiped out. Another point no balls would come out when we had about 10 minutes left to play. It's frustrating when you're paying by the hour and things like this happen. They were very nice about it and gave us extra time, but so many things went wrong it was frustrating! I would definitely go back though because I don't feel as though our situation was the norm. read more

I've been here several times since the opening and I've had an excellent experience each time. I was a huge fan of the Alexandria location...the One Loudoun location is even BETTER! It is a lot larger, not just with the extra level of bays but there are two large bars that are great for Friday and Saturday nights. The rooftop terrace is definetly my favorite part - with live music and dancing on the weekends. The food is good too (I recommend the nachos or wings). My main motivation for writing a review is for an employee by the name of FELIX. Each and every time I go to Top Golf, Felix has gone above and beyond to assist me and my guests to make sure we have a 5 star experience. I'm a platinum member of the location, and he definitely makes me feel like one. I brought a group of coworkers yesterday and they were all so impressed with Felix and each one let me know that he really made the experience worth while. From taking multiple trips to ensure each guest had a player card and did not need to wait in line, to securing adjacent bays and checking up on us (not too frequently which can be annoying, but as needed). If anyone is looking for a membership or just a great experience (taking out clients or coworkers), make sure you talk to Felix, he will make you look like a hero! His superb customer service will make sure you keep on coming back time and time again. read more
