We have been to Top Golf many times with our friends and always enjoyed it! Great entertainment spot for groups of people! Of course you have to come in advance and wait for a while to get a spot to play golf, especially Friday - Saturday night, but otherwise it is pretty cool spot to hang out in One Loudoun area. Always crowded and alive! I am not a professional golf player, so my perspective is having a good time. And we always have a good time at Top Golf and laugh at each other when we can't hit that D*** golf ball. Food is good, drinks are good, I like their donut balls that you can inject with chocolate and other fillings - yumm! read more

Fun place. Gets 5 stars for the golf. Lousy spotty service every time. Gets 1 star for service. Food is average.

Top golf as a sports entertainment venue is pretty amazing. I own golf clubs and use them 1 or 2 times a year, yet Top Golf makes me want to head out and get back into it. There was a ton of attentive staff (2nd week open), so that was nice as well. So 4 stars for the entertainment. Then there was the food. Pretty average at best and overpriced for the quality. I had the burger which was ok, but was definitely pre-formed and possibly frozen (perfect hockey puck shape) with an almost stale bun. For $12 I expect a lot more (Elevation burger across the street is 10x better, but half the price). Read some of the other reviews about the great burgers and I'm guessing those reviews were seeded by employees or individuals inflicted with some horrible taste bud deficiency syndrome. 2 stars for food/value. I'll definitely be back, but suggest getting food at Loudoun One before/after and stick with drinks at TG. read more

Topgolf is a great time, food and drink prices aren't bad and the bay rental fee is modest especially with a group. Figuring out what to actually do in order to get going is a bit tedious, but once you have your membership card you can just reserve a bay and show up! You don't need to be a pro, clubs are there for your use, and there are loads of "game" types. This is a great place for a group outing and lets you enjoy the being outside with comfort! (Outdoor heaters for winter). Think of this as the best bowling alley ever. Except its hitting golf balls. read more

The golf is good. The service is bad. Prior bay customer check still sitting at table when we entered. Table dirty. Never approached by server till I had to find one. We planned to have a large happy hour for my employer here. Maybe not anymore. read more

Excellent customer service. Very impressed. Love how it is an outdoor activity for ~safer~ covid fun!

Top Golf, you have to know is kind of like going to a bowling alley but for golf. It is easy to bring kids and share a brew. Playing a few of their rounds and games is entertaining. Most times I have been was during an event one of my or my husband's companies hosted. Don't expect the best quality food but for a good time, you will not regret it. It is more fun than my nongolfing self would like to admit. It makes the activity more digestible for someone like myself. Especially after a glass of wine. You don't have to be great but for those more experienced who want to improve their game. They do have instructors but from my understanding, you might want to check out an actual golf course with a driving range. Which there are multiple golf courses in this area. This is definitely a good place to start if you wanna have fun and make great memories. read more

This place is fun, not only for golf players/fans! 3 floors with large high tech equipment filled bays, TVs galore, decent selection of clubs, good quality bar food and both indoor and outdoor bars! Disclaimer: if you spend over an hour here, which you most likely will, you will end up spending a chunk of change. Although you get unlimited balls for the hour, adding time, buying food and drinks will quickly add up. Otherwise, great spot for family and people of all ages. read more

Had a great birthday party here in February a couple years ago... great food good drinks little pricey but worth it

Love this place! Fun for big and small Groups, the gold bays have a good seating place for atleast 6 people, which makes it easier for bigger groups to get together. Love the music and ambience of the place. Great music, food, service and ofcourse the Golf! Weekends are packed and sometimes have a wait, but worth it! read more

We recently went to the new Top Golf location for a friend's birthday on a Saturday evening. We arrived at about 5:45 to try and reserve bays. We quickly learned our Top Golf Alexandria cards do not work here so we had to stand in a long line to get a new one. When we went to reserve bays, they said about an hour. We decided to waste time at the full bar (huge, with tvs, and liquor) It took a few minutes for someone to even acknowledge us which was frustrating because it wasn't that crowded, she blamed it on the transition in staff which I understand but many bar staff walked by without being greeted. The orange dream drink was fantastic, we ordered the nachos with chicken, which were also fantastic. The bay didn't even take the hour they had quoted us so that was a plus. They text you when it's ready I enjoyed the bay area, lounge couches and a little gate, plenty of seating for your group. I wasn't a fan of the $45 an hour for your bay, it goes quickly when you're with friends, I think that's their point. it was confusing how to put more time on with your credit card so we had to ask our server for help. He was attentive and pleasant. They also have clubs you can use at each bay. Overall, an enjoyable evening with pros and cons. read more

Preventing me from bringing in donuts for my 12 year old son's birthday (he doesn't like donuts) is poor customer service and simply a bad company policy. I will never set foot in this establishment again!!! read more

This is by far the worst service I have ever had. It took 10+ minutes for a bartender to notice I was on the empty side of the bar with my boyfriend. 10+ more minutes to get our drinks (which we had to order without menus because we weren't offered them and rushed). 10+ more minutes to get a snack I was disappointed in. To top off the whole encounter I had to get someone to get the bartender so I could pay my tab! All in all the bartender couldn't make a mojito, it was terrible service, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I wish I could give it 0 stars! read more

I have been to other Topgolf sites this one in Reston, Va was a waste of $119 dollars. Arrived on 1/3/2020 The tracking systems were not working properly most of the time not showing any info. We hit many balls in targets and did not receive points. We called the staff several times they would fiddle with systems and it would still not work. The scoring was all wrong. I ordered a cup of coffee and was the worst cup of coffee I have ever consumed it tasted like it was brewed on Xmas day. Bitter and nasty. A frustrating experience at Topgolf read more

Adult playground alert! This place is da scheiiittttt!!! Ok, let's start with the membership mumbo jumbo -weird, hated waiting, but I get it so let's move on. Ok, so once you get your card you're escorted to your own little outdoor living room that comes with your own waiter. I am not a golfer so this review is purely based on the fun & food aspects of my visit. We (party of 5) went on a weekend and it was packed but there was no wait. It was freezing, but they had the outdoor heaters on and it was completely cozy, our waiter was always on point with drinks when they were needed, we ordered the veggie burger, the fries and the pickles the food was great, my husband thought the veggie burger was the best he'd ever had. The pricing was fair the facility was clean and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Very cool place for a double date night or to hang with a small group of friends! read more

Topgolf - Drinks are cold, heater is warm!!! - Golf Near Me - Ashburn, Virginia

I went there for a work event. They were very accommodating in letting us rent 4 bays on the bottom floor. However, I ordered a drink, gray goose & water, from the upstairs bar and noticed it tasted like cheap vodka - possible Aristocrat. I asked the bartender to pour me another & watched her pour it. It came from a Gray Goose bottle, but the bottle was less than a 1/3 full. It tasted the same...crappy cheap vodka. I let a few coworkers try it & all 5 of us agreed that tasted like Aristocrat vodka. So they are filling portions of there top shelf liquor with cheap vodka...unreal! For the money they make there, you figure they would have more class. read more

We had my son's 16th birthday at Topgolf in Ashburn, and it could not have gone better. We reserved 2 "lanes" through the event staff, and the boys (and my wife and I) had a great time. A happy place to go! Good food, friendly staff. Only issues are they cost a bit more than just playing real golf, don't offer putting practice or real grass. Their pretty costly if you want to eat and drink and party! If you think of it as a night at the bowling alley with friends and teams competing in leagues, this is a great alternative. If you are a serious golfer, I suggest 1757 just down the road. It's a Real course, real grass, putting, chipping and sand traps! Practice and instruction covers it all. read more

Meh for sure. Can't go further than that because it's not easy to play golf at this glorified driving range. It's a really nice facility, but it's far from a great experience, beginning with the fact that they do not take reservations. You do get a nice bay with decent clubs and service for $25-45/hr, depending on the time of day. Doesn't matter how many folks you have or balls you hit so 2-7 can play without crowding in one bay. The games went haywire and we had to restart them constantly, but it was cool to see a shot to the back fence or near a flag get registered if the computer sensor system worked properly. The servers were all really nice and speedy - and they had a dedicated person assigned to our group of 16 so that helped. We got there at about 10:15 AM on a Saturday and were ready to play....but they weren't ready for us to play. We had to join some imaginary club in order to play on our first visit. The staff suggested we register 12 people. This was an annoying delay and extra expense for the "lifetime" membership. They wanted our birthday, email, and phone #'s in order to let us play. Um, no. Took forever and there was a line for this idiocy by the time we were done. Most of us didn't pay for the membership but you need one person per bay you rent in order to play, so three of us bought the $6 lifetime membership for the privilege of visiting. One disappointing thing: the server asked the kids in our group if they wanted a pitcher of lemonade or sprite. The kids said yes, both, and they brought both out, without checking with parents. Then they refilled the pitchers, with a full, untouched one wasted at the end of the visit. Surprise, this feature wasn't included in the hourly fee. I thought that was all a bit obnoxious. There are plenty of driving ranges in the area. This one's A-OK if you have a group of adults who have memberships or Meh if you show up with a non-member group. The high school kids we know also note that they are not friendly to their employees, and that most do not last long. Not a good sign. read more

We are so lucky to find the bay immediately without waiting on Friday evening. This is my first time to golf and I had pretty good picture about clubs and the range. The place is little pricey on the foods and drinks and the service was okay. Parking is okay and we are able to find in 5 minutes. read more

Stopped here for an hour of play with my wife on our date night. We arrived around 8pm on a Friday evening in January (so, it was cold) and they were still pretty busy! They had heaters to help us stay warm while playing. The service was great - when we arrived to our bay the heater wasnt working so they helped us find another bay to play in. We ordered a couple of drinks and enjoyed playing 1 on 1. I will say that Topgolf is a lot more fun with 4-6 people in a group. There is a lot of time to sit around and talk, eat, drink while one person is swinging. Highly recommend this location for cleanliness, location and great service. read more

First off, they don't take same day reservations. We showed up and there was a 3 hour wait on a Saturday, which in itself is understandable. We came from an hour away so we decided to get food and have some beers there because we took the drive out. We were seated and then informed that they have no servers on a Saturday night and we had to order via there app. We went to order our beers and it ofcourse asked for verification. We went to the bar to show our id's (all 21) and they refused to serve us alcohol because we needed to be "monitored". We didn't show up drunk or were being rude or rowdy but we were still denied service by the bartender read more

Top golf is like a grown-up chuck e cheese. Tons of games, Xbox Kinect, giant jenga blocks, corn hole, beer pong (with buckets), pool tables, foosball, of course golf and more. This will quickly become a great hang out spot for after work. There are two bars, one on the main level, one upstairs that expands into a roof top bar. I'm told the fire pits will be up and running soon. By a few of the employee's recommendations, don't get the mixed drinks, they're really weak. After tasting two, I agree, they're a waste of money. Just stick to their expansive selection of beer. Mushi is a must try. Not a big fan of their flatbread, it was a bit dry and hard to swallow. If you're up for trying their brunch menu, go for the chicken and waffle sliders, yum. I'll be trying that Mac burger next time I'm in. Oh, and do yourself a favor. Get their lifetime membership at the front desk when you go in. After tax it's $5.30. It apparently saves you additional fees of sorts if you'd like to golf. Overall, definitely a new great spot for me! read more

I love Topgolf! Every time I am home visiting family I try to make this a stop. The food is delicious, the service is pretty good, and the games themselves are a blast. As people have mentioned, it can get pricey but if you have a full bay (6 people) it really isn't bad if you share the cost ($25 per hour). They have a ton of different games from top score to top shot (target practice) and it really is fun for everyone. I am by no means a golfer but thoroughly enough every time I am there. The last time I visited we got a table full of food and nothing was disappointing! The mushi is a great appetizer! It is similar to a cut up burrito. We also had the queso, guac and chips. One thing we didn't know was you get two free refills on chips and salsa with that! Next we got to try the brisket grilled cheese... AMAZING and the mac daddy burger which was good but a lot. The customer service was also great. We ordered food and the order got messed up while our time ran out and our server extended it for us until our food came. Lastly, this is VERY popular so try to go before 11 am or be prepared to wait, sometimes hours. read more

Awesome fun place to golf!! It's so high tech and they serve food and drinks at the bay's. I went for a party so we paid a set price for all you can play. Not sure how the system normally works. you don't have to go get your own ball bucket. You wave your hand/club over a sensor and the ball pops out! I think u pay a set price for an hour, with unlimited balls? Super neat! Also you can play mini games with friends where each ball gets tracked and you can assign it to a player. Next to each bay, they have their clubs you can borrow if you don't own your own! They also have a couple of pool tables, shuffle board, and Kinect system indoors to play with. Fun place to go with friends that like to go to a driving range! read more

The many times that I have come to this location by far the worst customer service EVER !! Our server Anthony short for "Tony" was the worst! Literally waited for our drinks about 10 minutes and didn't offer food we had to ask him if we could order food. Seems like it was his first day. Literally asked for the check and the guy didn't give us no space to actually pay. Worst service ever! Topgolf is a lot of fun! Facility is clean and well maintained. Food is great. Service was subpar. For the most part, the staff is welcoming. I just so happen to catch the shift change when I was brought to my bay, but then again that should NOT be an excuse for any of the staff to avoid tending to guests. My party waited nearly 20-25 minutes before being approached by the new shift only then to be told "sorry, there's a shift change," and then the server walks away to give us a "moment" which turned into about 10 minutes for him to return. I understand that sometime servers get caught up with other tables or bays, but I still see no reason why not a single server approached us from the ending shift to at least inform us of the shift change and that someone from the new shift would be on the way. I, honestly, never expected this from Topgolf. All my other visits to this location have been great and this one just wasn't up to par. read more

It's about time something like this opened in Loudoun! It's very impressive and there's something here for everyone to do. First off, if you've been to the Alexandria location, this one is identical but more shiny and polished with more features although no mini golf. There's billiards on the lower level, bars on all levels with tvs for games, a kids area on the top floor, and each bay has heaters when it's cold plus a tv where you can change the channel for sports games and clubs provided although I always bring my own. Second, the food is delicious. I had their wings which are ginormous and tasty and their nachos and tater tots are delicious as well. You have your own personal server at whatever bay you're at so you can order anything on the menu with them and they put it in and send it to you. That leads me to my third, the service. I've been there twice and the first time, the service was extremely slow due to the server being a first time server who just turned 18 meaning she's never dealt with serving alcohol before. She did look overwhelmed so I felt bad for her cause sometimes when we're at a job for the first time, we struggle; it happens. The second time however a lot of things happened: our tv didn't work at our bay (bay 317) although everyone else's did, we asked for nachos and they brought over quesadillas instead, my friend ordered a burger and it didn't arrive for 34 minutes (yes we timed it), and when we paid, they charged my credit card for the entire bill instead of separating the bill liked we asked. Of course all the mistakes were correctable and I did bring this up to a manager. But the service was comparable to NFL referees officiating a prime time game (you know how that goes). I still enjoy this place and do believe that since it's fairly new, they will fix the service issues. I just hope that this place cares enough to fix the problem and doesn't fall into the trap of caring more about profits instead of customers. read more

What a fun day! We were going to come in for a party of 14 around 7pm on a Saturday but fortunately a coworker's son works here and warned us that the wait times are astronomical Saturday night, so we ended up coming at 3. The wait for 2 bays next to each other was an hour and a half, and I'm pretty sure it was shorter than that. We waited at the bar and it seemed like the bartender was running a one man show which is really unfortunate and they should absolutely tack on another bartender, I felt bad for that guy. The whole setup is very nice! The lounge couches were extremely toasty from being under the heat lamps and I was in heaven curling up in the corner of them. Our waiter was on his game for such a large party and we really appreciated that. I tried a bunch of food so you don't have to! Food: -Mushi rolls: very very good, I was confused about what they were but it's basically all rolled into a tortilla that is cut into slices. Very yummy -Asian sesame wings: holy cow, they were easily the best wings I've ever had. They were HUGE, very meaty and juicy but the way they were cooked in a way I've never seen, the skin was extremely crispy but not in an over-cooked way...just so good!!! -Chips & guac: the guac was very very good, although not nearly enough of it -Turkey & avacado wrap: tried a bite of my friends wrap and it was very tasty and refreshing! Easily one of the lowest calorie options on the menu so guilt free! Drinks: -Orange dream: creamsicle style drink, but not the heavily creamy kind where it's overpowering. It was like drinking a light orange juice with a hint of whipped cream. I liked it, surprisingly! -the specialty drink I tried had an odd name but it was essentially champagne with ginger beer and cranberry, quite delicious but not nearly enough alcohol! :) -Espresso martini: my friend got one and I tried a sip, it was delicious and I highly recommend! -Chip shot: not really sure what was going on here but we thought it was a shot but it was basically a spiked coffee or something, still really liked it! Just confused from the name. We had a blast and can't wait to come back! read more

We tried this venue out for my friend's 21st birthday and what a way to celebrate! I only wish I could be better at golf because it was a pretty humiliating experience for me since I can't swing to save my life. What matters is that we had fun here...right? There's food and alcoholic beverages served to you which just adds to the experience. Having a pitcher of blue moon with some steak flatbread hit the spot for all of us. They accommodate your body mechanics and height by providing various golf clubs of different types and sizes. Our server gave us great service and attention by frequently checking up and making sure any refills were taken care of. The only downside is that it's pretty expensive. When I say I feel in love with this place soon as I walked in! They have a bar area, pool tables and other areas you can be in if you are not playing. I recommend that you reserve online so you don't have to wait. I was late for my appointment and they was so understanding because it was an accident on the highway and lots of people was stuck. They send text messages asking if you need more time just Incase your going to be late. The area it's is up and coming. It has a parking lot that they share with IFly. Parking was a little hard. The ok was good. The prices are reasonable. Now here's where it gets tricky with the golf prices (FLAT OUT JUST LET THE WAITER EXPLAIN IT) what I read online was totally different than what we did. This was the perfect day we had our couples date night and it was just awesome. They have a smoking room on the lower level. They do not sell "bottles" of alcohol. We ordered 15 shots (don't judge) but it was 6 of us. You are not allowed to have more than 1 drink in in front of you. We had a end Bay which to me was a horrible location because to are not close to all the targets as if you was in the middle. Once you start playing, drinking and eating you are not going to want to leave we stayed about 3 1/2 hours. I recommend to go on a weekend. There was children there but the later it got the less children was there. I can't wait to visit again. read more
