I found out about Total Tech AV from Yelp, and got through to the owner on my first call. Jordan the owner was friendly yet very fair in his quote. He quoted a fair price and fortunately had technicians who could come the same day. They arrived on time and quickly got to work. Fortunately the new TV, a Samsung, was able to use the same mount as the LG it replaced. The technicians were personable and skilled. They connected the power and HDMI cables correctly and we had the new TV going quite quickly. Their charges were fully within the UCR (Usual, customary and reasonable) range. I called Marvin and I advised him that I had renters in the unit and that they would be there when he arrived, he advised it would be an $85 dollar service charge, but that would go towards the cost of repairs if I decided to use him. Two hours after he was supposed to arrive on the job, I get a call telling me it would be $200+, I was shocked, I thought it was $85, then he told me that he had done the repairs, that the renters had told him to do the work??????? I was the only one that could authorize the work. He then told me that he did a service on the unit, put in freon in the system and he thought it could have a small leak (but did not check for the leak?), but said that he thought it would last at least two years, and that he would come back out at the start of the season to make sure it still looked good and follow-up service. The first time turning on the ac this year, nothing came on, I called him back and he said he would come over and check it. He advised that it needed a new compressor, that he could get the job done Wed or Thurs, I advised it would be more convenient for me to have the work done on Wed, he said he would check and get back to me..... never heard from him, so Tues night I send him a msg asking why, he said he text me, nope, then he said he might have sent me a msg from another number, nope, then said he could do it Friday, ok. Friday comes and my tenants advised they had been watching for him all morning, had not seen him, he sends me a text stating he had been out there all morning and that he was now waiting on another part that was leaking (stating that he was out there working on it Friday morning), but the ac unit sits in front of the window, and they were looking for him, but advise he never showed up. He text me and said that again, he was waiting on parts and they would be there at 5pm, so he would be at the house at 730am sat....... no call....no show..... send a text sat night....no response..... sunday morning he wants to start texting me telling me how much he has done and how he didn't charge me for this or that..... and arguing with me about stuff that has nothing to do with why my ac is not repaired...... then had the nerve to tell me "what I am not doing is begging for your business. Not meaning to be rude but that is not our business model." Never once did I ask anyone to beg, so I advised after waiting a week for the work to be done, I would find someone else to do it. I would not recommend using someone who does not call, does not follow-up and who is rude to the customer who pays his salary.

I had been a satisfied Fulford customer for approximately seven years, but my recent experience has…read moreseriously undermined my confidence in the company. In July, Fulford performed routine maintenance on my HVAC unit. Approximately two months later, I noticed a wet spot on the wall and called them back. The technician vacuumed the exterior condensate drain without entering the house and said the issue was fixed. I subsequently received a $180 bill. I questioned the charge because the primary drain had clogged while the secondary drain was still functioning as intended. Fulford agreed to send another technician to investigate at no charge. During that visit, I accompanied the technician and witnessed him identify a crack inside the unit below the coils. While he was explaining this finding, I pointed out that the secondary drain pan appeared to be doing its job properly and that the water damage was several feet away from the unit. There was no water damage on the ceiling below the pan, and the original water mark was near the separated coupling, approximately 3.5 feet from the unit. The pan was not overflowing and had not caused the original water mark. The technician responded that he was still investigating. He then cut the insulation around the PVC condensate drain and exposed a separated coupling. I asked whether that was where the connection had separated and whether it had been glued. He confirmed the separation and said it had not been glued. He then glued the PVC connection at no charge. The subsequent service report documented the crack but made no mention of the separated, unglued coupling I had personally witnessed and watched him repair. Instead, it focused on the crack and the water in the pan, which did not explain the location of the original water mark. I contacted Fulford to question the omission. During our discussion, I was told the original PVC drain had been reused when the unit was installed approximately seven years ago. I was also given an explanation involving deteriorated glue. Neither explanation resolved my concern about the specific coupling I had seen separated and subsequently repaired. After further discussion, Fulford issued a second report adding that the drain line had disconnected 15 feet from the unit, near where it entered the wall. That description did not match what I observed. The distance from the unit to the wall is approximately seven feet, and the separated coupling was approximately 3.5 feet from the unit. I contacted Fulford again to explain the discrepancy. A third report changed the distance from 15 feet to seven feet but continued to place the disconnection near the wall rather than at the coupling I had identified. I again requested a correction and have not received a satisfactory resolution. To be clear, I believe the technician performed his inspection and repair appropriately. My concern is with the documentation and Fulford's handling of my questions afterward. I witnessed the separated coupling, heard the technician confirm it had not been glued, and watched him repair it. Yet three versions of the service report failed to accurately describe the location of that separation. I cannot say why the reports were written this way, but the discrepancies remain unexplained, and I have not received a report that accurately reflects what I witnessed. My advice to other customers is to be present during service whenever possible and to review the written findings carefully. A service report should accurately document the conditions observed and the work performed. After approximately seven years as a satisfied customer, I am disappointed that a straightforward request for accurate documentation has gone unresolved. I would have preferred a transparent explanation and a corrected report rather than having to pursue the matter repeatedly.

They did not have all the answers either They just did not comprehend what had happened either or why it was wrong or how. But something was awfully wrong & obviously. The owner and co owner came out and looked at our geothermal and worked on it and $3700.00 later its still NOT working properly. We have call TRANE consumer services filed a claim against the competitor whom did the damages. Pleasant Air came in sis something to the control panels and such Said they would be back a month and two weeks ago and nothing we still have five res lights on the unit We have NO Confidence about the unit running properly anymore period. The back up heat strips have been removed now. And we are out up to $5000.00 plus in cash Since February 2026 The so called pretend Geothermal Expert came into our home and destroyed it and still is NOT running properly holding the temperature like we had it before February 2026. It would run 73 or 76 on the money on our old thermostat-950 with NO Fluctuations at ALL even if it was 111 degrees outside vs 43 degrees outside. Now our temperatures inside goes all over the place and we never stay at a steady temperature in our living room not ever! This is NOT how a inside encapsulated Geothermal hvac heating system loop system is designed for. I can only give two stars because our geothermal system ran waaaaaay more efficiently than this is now. And we have the energy bills to prove it before now !
