When you receive an appointment time, you will have the owner show up promptly on time and get straight to your issue and fully answer any of your questions/concerns so you understand what is being done and why. Of the 5 prior contractors we received estimates from, Jeremy was by far the most thorough, knowledgeable and did not offer us a car salesman approach. We had a approx 30 year old system set at the front of our home with a long run of duct which made for cold/hot air coming out for the first few minute's depending on the season. Jeremy eliminated this issue by moving the new unit the a new location cutting out a large portion of this duct making the new system move air more efficiently for our home. This move required electrical to be moved as well from the from of house to the back. Everything was taken care of without a blink or disruption. Our home (Topsail Greens) is not the easiest home to 1) work on 2) make cozy, warm in all rooms- however this was all taken care of as well as each concern I had. Ocean Breeze is a quality asset to our community, Jeremy holds himself and the quality of his work to a high standard and cares for his customers and his community. I would refer him to anyone for all HVAC, electrical and more. Great service, fair pricing, trustworthy, exceptional skills.A+ Sent from my iPhone Colleen Kraus

On Friday, 05-10-24, I knew finding someone would be difficult and likely impossible. I received "first available service dates" from next Tuesday to the 20th! What a huge blessing to have found DEPENDABLE PLUMBING/HEATING AND AIR SERVICES, LLC! From the initial call with Mrs. Shawna, who was so sweet and understanding, I knew our prayers had been answered! She told me that Mr. Michael would return my call and within 30 minutes he did! They're both animal lovers and knowing that our sweet Tucker was suffering along with us touched their hearts and Mr. Michael was at our home within 45 minutes! He quickly detected a leak and absolutely no Freon, within a short period, we could feel the humidity and heat starting to subside, Heavenly relief! The total charge was very reasonable as they absolutely saved us from having to find a hotel room for the weekend at the very least. They could have easily charged us an exorbitant "emergency call" fee, they didn't. They're a local business (actually two businesses, the plumbing operation is their son-in-law's). You're not dealing with a huge impersonal corporation, you have an honorable, honest, and kind family-operated business who really cares about you, your furry family members, and our community! In the future, we will continue to reach out to both of the organizations if we ever need HVAC or plumbing needs! We sincerely recommend this company with absolutely no reservations! They're hands-down the BEST!

About 20 minutes later, Cameron arrived at my home. After inspecting my system, Cameron found that the outdoor condenser coil was completely blocked with dirt and dog hair. He explained my repair options: a one-time coil cleaning for about $345, or enrollment in the Advantage Plan, which included the cleaning plus another maintenance visit in six months. The monthly plan was $17.08 +tax for 12 months, or $245 if paid annually. I chose the monthly Advantage Plan membership. I was grateful that Cameron was able to thoroughly clean the coil and get my air conditioning running again. I especially appreciated how clearly he explained how the system works. He told me that when the coil becomes dirty, the refrigerant can't cool properly. As a result, the pressure rises until the high-pressure safety switch shuts the system down to protect it from damage. Cameron also took the time to explain everything included in the Advantage Plan membership and what would be done during the six-month maintenance visit. He was professional, knowledgeable, and patient in answering my questions. I highly recommend Aireserv and their technician, Cameron. He did an outstanding job for me. -- Phil Honsinger Castle Hayne NC

They had fixed an issue I wasn't really aware of. Which I appreciate. But not the reason I had called my warranty company. So I'm guessing there was just a little bit of a mixup. Anyways, when I had mentioned to the young man that my dryer vent that's connected to my wall was the issue. He said that they don't deal with that. Then I proceeded to ask why there was a dryer car outside keep in mind. I have been very polite. I have not spoken out of words. I asked very politely just because I am the only person home with my two kids. So he proceeds to say yes ma'am I'll go ask the older guy that he was with. So when he went outside to ask. He kind of just started talking about what I had said and laughed about it and then the old man proceeded to laugh with him and kind of mock me because I didn't know what I was talking about. Keep in mind this is not my career nor do I know your day-to-day life. So they come inside he explained to me that he is borrowing his buddies work van. Then kind of tries to mansplain to me that they don't fix that that my warranty doesn't cover it and that I should've told my warranty company what the actual problem was, which I did. I called my warranty company to talk to them as well and they fix the issue. I proceeded to tell them that I heard them laughing at me because they continue to laugh explaining everything to me in front of my face. And I said "yes it's very funny because my door camera works. I heard y'all laughing at me and making fun. " he proceeded to say "we didn't say anything out of the ordinary " which is correct you didn't, but you still proceeded to laugh and mock at me because I didn't know what I was talking about. I am a stay at home mom this is not my career so of course I had questions. Of course I was curious about why there was a dryer car when I specifically called for someone to fix my dryer. I called the company and she just said "I'm sorry you felt that way, they did call me and told me about the situation." I proceeded to tell her that there is very bad people out there that would've reacted way worse than me. I even said thank you and have a good day as the two men left my house. I asked them very politely to leave. I explained all of this to her and she still didn't do anything but say I'm sorry you felt that way if you needed someone out there for the dryer it's gonna be retail price. I just said OK thank you have a good day. I'm completely baffled about how the company handled the situation and how unprofessional they were. They were very nice to my face and did not know that my camera was working due to the toddler look they had on their face like they just snuck a bunch of cookies that they weren't supposed to have. When I mentioned my camera was working. I offered to save the footage and email it to the company and she didn't want it.

Despite multiple service requests over the last two years, the issue has only worsened. The company installed backflow dampers last year as a supposed fix, but the mold returned, now spreading even more. This year, someone from their team showed up unannounced because they were in a development across the street. When I told them it wasn't a good time, I heard nothing back, despite multiple written follow-ups. Only after I mentioned legal representation did I get a call back during which I was laughed at. That level of unprofessionalism speaks for itself. Several of our neighbors are experiencing the exact same issue, which points to a larger installation or design flaw.
