I have to first start with the fact that Brian and his crew are some of the nicest gentlemen I have ever done business with. Like most people I was shopping around for rates and using sites like this one to read reviews. READ THE HIDDEN REVIEWS also on these sites before you make your choices. Brian's hidden reviews were all 5 star. I thought that was incredible, so I called and sure enough, he answered, not a machine or robot or voicemail. Brian himself answered and was very informative even on the phone call before we ever met. He came out on a Friday morning, calling ahead and giving the exact time he would be there. And he showed up on time. After a thorough review he told me what the issue was with my AC and he said he could have a crew out there Monday. After he left, 15 minutes down the road he called back and said, " We just finished another project and can do yours today if you like." I was beyond impressed and agreed. When they arrived, his crew introduced themselves and quickly went to work. I had ALL the duct work replaced with new , and the unit it self serviced. It was in horrid shape. I had just purchased the house and the AC was so filthy , the air was horrendous coming out. The crew worked all day into the night before coming back bright and early the next morning to do finish up. They cleaned up the debris in garbage bags and took it all with them! I also had an Apco-X system installed, and Brian himself spent the whole morning properly installing and explaining to me everything about its operation. Well its July 4th of course and hot as can be here in Leland, NC. and of course the A/C unit in my two year old house goes out. I called several folks with recommendations of course from my neighbors and friends. No one I called answered the phone. I even sent messages on there websites and no response. I found the info for Brian and am I glad I did. I called and Brian answered immediately. I explained my situation and that I was in Brunswick forest and he said he could be here in 12 MINUTES, NOT HOURS, MINUTES! Brian and his associates showed up and he guess what the problem was within 5 secs. He opened up the outside unit to verify his suspicions and that was it, He replaced a coil and it worked. Next to sure of no recalls to the house he put his gauges on unit and sure enough he found a freon leak in the system. One of the coils is bad and he is going to get the parts under warranty since the unit is so new. He topped off the freon levels. Unit works perfectly and should be ok till he gets the parts needed to come back and double check for the leak in the system. Being self employed for 46 years in service industry jobs I have to say this person is legit, he cares, is competent, and more than courteous. We are so lucky that we found Brian Williamson's Heating and Cooling! We are so thankful for his honesty and his knowledge of HVAC installation and operation. Calling him was the best decision. I no longer have anxiety about my HVAC unit because Brian cares so much about his business that he assured us that he wants us to be 100% satisfied with his quality of service. Thank goodness that we were introduced to Brian Williamson. We recently bought an older home. We met Brian Williamson when he came out He and his team arrive at your house on time and our courteous. He analyzed our system and recommended a mini-split because he couldn't get venting to properly go to all of the upstairs room (there just wasn't space). He is extremely honest with his evaluation and doesn't try to convince you that you need to buy something expensive. Yesterday (Easter Sunday), our air conditioner stopped cooling. At 8:00 am this morning, I texted Brian and asked if he could fit us into his schedule in the upcoming days. He called me at 8:03 am to tell me he was on his way to our house. He arrived around 8:30 am, opened up the air conditioning unit, located the problem immediately, found the replacement part in his truck, swapped out the part, and evaluated the motor. While he thinks that the motor will die within six months to a year on this older unit, Brian said to wait until it dies, but he will make sure to have a new motor for us when it dies. He just didn't want us to have to spend the money! He left our house around 8:45 am with our house cooling down to 70 almost immediately. I came home from a long trip to a 95 degree house. It was the day before a national holiday and it was late afternoon. My A/C was not working. I called Brian and he answered. A REAL PERSON, not a recording. I explained the issue and even though it was late and he was on the other side of the county on another location working, he dispatched one of his service technicians to me! It was fast, so fast that I was actually at the gas station gassing up when he called and said my technician is at your back door. The technician ran some diagnostics and determined it was the blower motor. He quoted me a price and drove all the way back to his shop, got the motor , and returned after dark to finish the job so I wouldn't be without air conditioning all night. That is extremely rare in today's service calls, to care that much for your customer. The technician fixed the air conditioner and was very polite. I gladly thanked him and Brian for such professionalism in a time where that type of behavior is rarely observed any longer. If there were more stars,I would click those too.Brian is one in a million.He is honest,and works on the job until it is resolved.I had called to have thermostat replaced,and he came right away.But,it was not a 30 minute replacement job. He worked and looked,and looked again.He could not fix entirely and was coming back the next day. Boy was I surprised when he called shortly afterwards,saying I have thought and thought and I am on my way He said he could not rest and had been thinking ever since he had left us.You would not believe what he had discovered.Needless to say it was not good.He worked on our furnace again,until late,He came back the next day with a helper.Within an hour it was fixed. We initially paid a technician from Salt Air to come out and look at our unit not long ago and he showed up in his own truck.. serviced our unit, charged us a butt load, nothing was fixed and we were out $2400, claimed he had to come back for one extra thing that needed to be done and we could never get a hold of him after that..
