He removed all my old equipment and spent the day with me hooking up new internet service and cameras. We rely on Alexa devices for lights throughout the house. While trying to establish a service here in the boonies I was excited to find this service on Yelp. I called them and scheduled an appointment for a survey. When the day came I took the hour long drive to the site only to be called late and told that they could not make the appointment. We rescheduled the appointment and this time someone showed up. The tech found a clear line of sight due east of my place. Unfortunately all the antennas on that tower were pointed either North or South. He said he'd see what they could adjust on the tower and get back to me. They never got back to me. I called them again and asked them if they had found a solution. The tech I needed to talk to wasn't there. I was assured that they would call me back that same day. They didn't Months later I found an unlimited mobile hotspot service that's faster and less expensive. I'm guessing they have too much business heading their way and just can't handle all the demand.

My brother had Verizon's cell phone service and a few months ago he passed away. As the executor of…read morehis trust I had to cancel, change names, etc., for some of the various services he had. I went into Verizon to cancel the phone service and was helped by Alfredo, he noticed that it said the phone bill was passed due and there late fees and another fee (like a bounced check fee but it wasn't a check) attached. After looking over the bill, it showed that the auto payment "bounced" due to insufficient funds but that as impossible as there was plenty of money in the account to cover the the monthly payment for years. So he suggested I talk to their customer service via the phone so he connect me. Dealing with someone who is off shore and has no idea what I am talking about was very painful, but once it was all done (took probably 45 minutes to an hour), the person wanted to send a code to the cell phone and I tried to explain that I did not have the phone on me and no way to access it. We went over and over that whole scenario at least 10 times. Finally, I think it started to sink in and then she asked to speak to the store person who again was Alfredo. He spoke to her, confirmed the credits and then hung up. He was able to get everything credited it that needed to be and then give me a final bill to pay. I then thought about keeping the phone for another month but said i would come back to cancel it either before the due date or later. I came back a few days later, Alfredo was not available but another gentlman (I can't recall his name), helped me out and I was able to cancel the the cell phone service with no problems. These 2 individuals inside the Verizon store were very helpful, courteous, and friendly. Hopefully if you need to go in you'll get one of these helpful individuals.

We have DISH in our primary home in the Bay Area and thought we'd try it in Sea Ranch. I was a bit skeptical given the fact that the internet was satellite based and I've heard that it's not as reliable as cable/dsl internet. But we really had no choice, so we went ahead with DISH. They were exceptionally detailed leading up to the appointment to install the dishes (one for tv, one for internet) and were right on time. The installer was professional and very skilled, he got our system up and running in just a few hours and we're absolutely thrilled with the quality of service. The tv now has HD reception and it's crystal clear all of the time. The internet is fast and reliable. And the prices are reasonable. So if you're in The Sea Ranch and have had problems with other providers, definitely give DISH a try.
