We spent the day going over how to use the gun, take it apart, clean it and went to the range to shoot properly. I am a married man and Sandra never used any inappropriate language to any one in the class, nor did she discuss her personal life. She was also very positive with all the students, never downgrading anyone who did not understand at first. I find it very inappropriate for someone to use this platform for a personal vendetta. This was a very good class to learn if you want to learn how to handle a weapon correctly.

They are patient and really go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and that you understand safety and what you're doing and make everything really easy. When you get there you complete your registration and rent a lane. Then you can either use your own firearm, eye and ear protection, and ammunition or you can rent or purchase everything. You can rent handguns and various semi-auto rifles for a flat rate plus ammunition, or you can rent automatics or belt fed machine guns by buying magazines or belts, no flat rental rate required. It can all add up pretty quickly but overall the rates and prices are reasonable. I had a great time, my favorite was firing the Thompson submachine gun on full auto, and will definitely be back for the M1!

To coordinate a shoot is a very daunting task, it takes a lot of people's efforts to make it a success. First we need a facility to hold such a match, well Illumined Arms donated their fantastic facility for shooters to compete and the assistance of their staff to insure the facility is available for holding the event , then all the sponsors to advertise and staff, Battleborn group, Vet Mech Arms and the Lyon County Sheriff's department staff to run and insure this event went smoothly. We also had a late sponsor by Anderson renewal windows to support such a worthy cause. All this for supporting our neighbors in need of support with our donations. This was a turkey shoot after all, so turkey's were of course the prize to the top shooters. From what I observed, everyone left with smiles on their faces, satisfied knowing we were doing this for a very worthy cause and we all participated in a safe event.

He provided patient and expert guidance on how to shoot, and would chat with me, making the whole process much more relaxed and enjoyable. I think the 4 - hour drive here was totally worth it. The shooting range is his private property, and it feels extremely free and relaxing here. This was the first time my wife had attended a CCW class so she was a bit nervous at first but very at ease within a short time. There were a couple other ladies in the class also and all seemed to be at ease once things got going. Did have to travel to an offsite range (about 10 min.) for the live fire qualification but no big deal. Range was crowded with a wait line when we got there but the counter guy recognized Kirk and gave him two lanes right away. We were all in and out in a very short time. Emails and phone calls with Keith prior to class were informative. All questions answered. No pressure sales. All in All... Great Experience. Highly recommend.
