I needed to get BLS certified for my nursing school. I've taken several CPR classes previously but this was by far my favorite, and I will be back here for future recertifications! The fabulous Ms. Mary made the class fun and quick, while still ensuring a highly educational class. It was very focused which allowed it to pass quickly, which I really appreciated because myself and everyone else (save one person) in the class had already been certified previously. The facility was really nice as well, comfortable, clean and stylish, and I really appreciated the snack and beverage offerings. My sister and I are both healthcare providers and it was time for our BLS, ACLS, and PALS recertification. We had some questions about which classes would be best as they provide a number of great and flexible options. Brian answered our questions and went above and beyond! He embodies what it means to have excellent customer service. It appears that everyone who works at Less Stress EMS is also friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. From the beginning, Mike, our instructor was engaging and energetic. He provided fantastic clinical pearls with his years of experience in EMS. He made sure everyone was comfortable and used a lot of real life scenarios and examples. He also adds in a good number of jokes and humor to help solidify important concepts. Without question he is one of the best instructors I've ever had! They also provide adequate opportunities for breaks, snacks, popcorn, and coffee. I wish I would have known about this place sooner, I would have definitely attended my CPR certification through them from the get-go. I took the health code course where all of the book content is completed online and only the skills is done in person. I really appreciated this format as I was limited on time. The skills portion was so quick, efficient and filled with knowledge to help build my confidence in CPR/first aide. I left the building feeling ready to perform CPR on anyone (is this bad?) hahaha! Truly, I enjoyed the course. The staff and instructor, kory, were so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. I also really enjoyed the free coffee/tea and snack bar! They're loaded with the good stuff 20/10 stars if I was given the option. My CPR card was emailed to me before I even left the building. So awesome! I was there again yesterday, this time for my PALS certification. Our instructor was Mike this time around. As usual, the environment was really conducive to learning. Relaxed, snacks, coffee and soft drinks available for the class to have. There was pop corn again. As for Mike, he made learning fun. Most of the lessons were full of humor but were actually connected to what we had to learn. The best part was, he seemed to have known that a lot of us in class were not really used to taking care of pediatric patients and therefore his method of teaching was calm, he conducted his simulations in a non-hectic, stress-free manner. He would ask questions in a no-pressure manner and would make you think about the processes without stressing you out. I really liked learning with the Less Stress crew that when co-workers asked if I was going g for my PALS with another outfit, I answered with a "hell no, I'm going with Less Stress". This place lives up to its name - Less Stress. The instructor Mary is awesome. She is personable and has a sense of humor. There was information given that I had never heard anywhere else in all the years of CPR recertification. This is by far the best CPR recertification that I have ever done. Yes, they live up to there name. Go no where else! I am a critical care nurse who has multiple certifications and always stress when it's time to renew. This place and the people are the best! This is the best class I've taken for ACLS/BLS. It was fun and more importantly very informative. Liz was amazing and took the time to really emphasize what was important in real-world situations. She somehow took a very long and grueling day and made it enjoyable. It really was "less stress." I have gotten previous certifications via REMSA and my prior hospital employer, but I felt like this was the first time I was able to really understand both the rhythm strips and the algorithms. Just did my ACLS recert at Less Stress and had a wonderful experience. It was a packed full day of hands on experience and lots of knowledge and extra practice outside of typical ACLS scenarios. Korey related my mock code to the area of nursing that I work in and made it feel real and relevant and also low stress so I could actually think on the spot. I took the ACLS class with Korey as the instructor. This was my first time becoming ACLS certified because I am a nursing student. Korey was an amazing instructor and made sure that every person felt confident in the skills and knowledge that he had taught us.
