In my family we fervently believe in check yourself before you wreck yourself or wreck someone else. So, for birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, graduations, marriages, births, thank yous, we have a tradition in my family of buying some sort of education as a gift for the recipient. Since 2000, I, my family, cousins, and friends have satisfactorily attended several classes here. Some were for the first time, Others were refresher courses. We recommend these classes at this business: CPR & First Aid CPR & AED Healthcare Provider BLS Course Childcare Classes Babysitting Classes for Teens Workplace Safety. Lord knows I've been in far too many businesses who prove they desperately need to have owners and employees attend this class. Forklift Training Online CPR OSHA 10 & 30. Lord knows I've seen far too many contractors who prove they desperately need to attend this class. Private Classes I'm hoping this business adds a Safe Driving Class. Lord knows I see far too many drivers who prove they desperately need to attend this class. Owner of this business, Kristan, likes her Freedom so she has a publicly disclosed daily Military and Veterans Discount for those who Serve or have Served as a token thanks to our GIs and we Veterans. That's important because it provides Veterans (rare 7% of the population) and GIs (rare one-half of one percent of the population) opportunity to participate in American Dream Veterans and GIs' sacrifices have made possible for 100% of the population. It means a lot to those unable to be employed due to military Service-connected disability as on limited fixed income. I rate 'em 4 stars. According to Yelp ratings' definitions, 3 Stars is "Ok". That to me is an acceptable rating of business that does day in and day out what they're in business to do. It is not a negative review. They earned 4th star for Military Veterans Discount. On this day in history 8 January 1955, Tom Corbett, Space Cadet airs "Suit Up For Death." Tom clashes with the Space Patrol quartermaster over the safety of the cadets' spacesuits. 1960, Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone airs "Third from the Sun". Two families of Government employees plan to steal a spaceship and travel to another planet just prior to a nuclear war. They must also deal with a stooge who wants to stop them. 1966, Doctor Who airs "Golden Death." The Doctor, Steven and Sara travel to Ancient Egypt, pursued by both the Daleks and the Meddling Monk. 1976, Space: 1999 airs "The Infernal Machine." The Alphans encounter Delmer Plebus Powells Gwent, a huge spacecraft that defies aerodynamics and is an extension of Gwent's genius and ego. 1977, Wonder Woman airs "Last Of The $2 Bills." Nazi agent Wotan has two surgically altered doubles replace the man in charge of the Bureau of Printing and Engraving and his girlfriend, a waitress. The plan is to steal the $2 engraving plates and use them to collapse the American economy. 1979, Battle Of The Planets airs "Microfilm Mystery." Riker finds out his former commander from the starship "Pegasus" has orders that entail more than what is revealed to Picard, who thinks the Enterprise is en route to recover the lost ship. Riker, though, is ordered to secrecy. 1996, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine airs "Paradise Lost." When Starfleet institutes martial law to combat the Changeling Menace, Sisko begins to question if the Dominion is the real threat. 1997, Star Trek: Voyager airs "Fair Trade". There he must team up with the alien who shot him down in order to find a way back to Enterprise. 2011 (in Germany), Star Wars: The Clone Wars airs "Clone Cadets." To avoid flunking out, the clones of Domino Squad must learn to work together during their training on Kamino. 2014, Star Trek Continues releases "Lolani." This was our second child (our first we didn't use a doula, but wish I had now!) and, as much as I love him, my husband just wasn't enough alone for me the first go around. I knew I needed some added support. That's where Jamie and Stevie came in and filled that much needed gap. My birth experience was extremely positive, full of love and support, smooth and without any regrets or feelings of inadequacy. I know I couldn't have done it without their preparation and commitment. Gosh, the number of times I pinged them in the middle of the night, even well before my delivery... I was always so apologetic about that, but they assured me it was no big deal and that they were there for me any time I needed them. Please, hire them. You won't regret it, I promise!

In addition to Doula services, we decided to take the Evidence Based Birthing 6 week course taught by Stevie, the CPR class and the breastfeeding class taught by Jamie. The EBB course was extremely informative and helped us prepare for the type of delivery we wanted. I felt confident in my decisions around the type of birth I wanted but also prepared for any unplanned changes that may occur. The CPR class was something my husband and I planned to take through the hospital but enjoyed having Stevie come over to our house and receive 1:1 instruction. The breastfeeding class was extremely informative and useful for not only myself but my husband as well. Due to covid restrictions only one doula was allowed in our hospital room so Stevie joined us since Jamie had just given birth to her 4th baby a week prior. Stevie knew our nurses, anesthesiologist, and OB which was comforting. My birth plan changed from what I originally intended and Stevie made sure I was comfortable with the change and helped me feel confident with my decision. My baby's heart rate dropped extremely low a couple times during labor and she helped us stay strong and reassure us that we were in good hands. I couldn't have asked for a better team for our delivery and I think that Stevie is largely to thank for that. 3 days after my baby was born, I became concerned because he hadn't had a wet or poopy diaper in 2 days. I got an appointment with our pediatrician a day earlier than originally scheduled but still had a day to care for my child. I reached out to Jamie and Stevie for advice and Jamie got me connected to a Lactation Consultant and helped me make the decision on a feeding plan until our appointments. She even brought over a bag of breastmilk since my milk hadn't come in yet . I found out that my baby wasn't able to get enough milk from my breast due to some latching issues and worked with the lactation consultant Jamie recommended for the first 2 months of his life. I am now almost 6 months postpartum and now have a great breastfeeding relationship with my child - something I again largely attribute to Jamie. As first time parents, getting a doula was the best decision we made and we couldn't be happier with the services provided by Jamie and Stevie!
