Normally I stop in about once every 3 weeks to have a pedicure done, but it has been about 5 weeks since my last one, meaning they were in need of some real TLC. My experience is here were extraordinary considering this location is in a Walmart. I would have to say not to overlook Foot Care Outlets such as this based on their location. I was immediately seen and had one person working on my toes and another my nails. Toes were finished, all I had done was a gel polish change, I sat to have my nails finished- I was having sns powder. This is where my complaint starts. The man doing my nails spoke the entire time to the woman working next to him, and I pick up they're talking about me. I ask him what they're talking about, and he told me whoever did my nails prior did a bad job. Then proceeded to talk to his coworker, as they laugh and continue to look at me. This didn't really matter, i just felt uncomfortable. He seemingly finished my nails, and for someone who told me my nails that I came in with were poorly done, I expected his work to be good some nails were oval, some were square. I had to ask him to shape again. Going to leave, worst part of the experience and I believe I was ripped off. I've been getting nails done for years. I didnt get manicure or pedicure, all I got was a polish change on toes with gel, and sns. He charged me 90 for those services. I asked to break it down, he could not- or perhaps choose not to. Proceeded to ask how much to tip, still in shock I said $5, then his reply was ok so five for me and five for the other helper. Obv tipping is important. but to be overcharged without explanation, and the in a sense pressured to tip more? I paid $100 for sns and gel polish. That is highly overpriced, if that is their true prices- but again I don't believe they are. I might add it's not a luxury spa- sure in charlotte of somewhere where the atmosphere is well kept and a pleasant experience I wouldn't have questioned anything. This is not that, so again prices do not match value. I will never go back. And I will openly share my experience with anyone who asks or shares they go there. It's no so much what happened, but the feelings I left with. I was uncomfortable during the apt and left feeling/knowing I was taken advantage of. Hope this helps!

I went mid day on a Saturday and I was a walk in, it wasn't busy and I was grateful to be seen with prompt and attentive service! Indoor it is clean and relaxing, great music playing in the background. This was an overall great experience and I look forward to returning soon! I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

I always get short nails anywhere I go. (They all speak English here, but the tech I had today could not comprehend me or acted like she couldn't) I thought if I had met Sonny there the other techs had to be nice. I guess not and that could be the reason she left. This establishment is not under new management. They explained it is still Anne that owns it and they have been there 10+ years. (Anne is really nice) I hate leaving bad reviews. I usually don't leave one if I have a bad experience just incase it is a bad day for the business. We all have bad days. I really don't want this to happen to anyone else. When I came in here I asked if it was okay I did not have an appointment. It was 3:30pm. The tech said it was okay. I told her I wanted short French round acrylic nails. She asked, you mean almond? I asked if almond was round and she said yes. I asked her to show me when she shaped it. She did and I let her know almond is not what I want, and that I want round short natural french nails. When I asked her to fix them she said she would after she applied acrylic and "I need to wait, she wasn't done." It was really rude. She was offended on the spot and I was just trying to help. I left her apply the acrylic and it was so thick on that it looked worse than fake nails out of Walgreens. It was shaped very badly and not professionally. I showed her and she said again "you need to wait, I not done" I tried to tell her how bad the thickness was then, she just kept reshaping my nails for 30 minutes with a regular nail file! (Not a drill). She filed them so long that she cut me in multiple places on my skin and none of the other finger nails on the opposite hand matched. (I had filed and cut my cuticles before I came in to hurry the process. She cut my actual skin) I asked her to have another nail tech look at them. They came over and spoke Spanish to me! (I am bilingual. I am also white. So that was funny) I told the other tech that the acrylic was too thick and was different shapes compared to the other nails on opposite hand. She agreed. The tech doing my nails then told me it was my fault cause my nails were too short. (What?! A real skilled nail tech can make anyone's nails look good) I explained that I have had short acrylic nails multiple times and never experienced this ever! She tried to fix them for another 20 minutes. At this point it was after 5pm!! I needed to get home. I asked how much for the nails if I stopped her there and didn't do anything else. She said $55. I replied "oh no". We both then agreed she needed to remove them. (Never had to remove nails after just having them put on at a nail salon!!!. First time for everything, right? Ugh. It was awful) She had to stick my hands that were cut in different places from her filing the sides of my nails off into nail remover. You could visibly see my hands bleeding!! It was painful. I let them sit for about 10 minutes, which was really all I could stand. The acrylic was so thick on my nails, I would have probably had to sit with my hands in the nail remover for an hour leaving me in excruciating pain. She came and clipped some of the nail off. While I was complaining to the other techs (I was in literal pain) another lady that was having her nails done, said that the lady who messed up my nails did her eyelashes wrong one day. Client said she had requested the hypoallergenic eye lash glue for sensitive eyes and my nail tech put the wrong glue on leaving her eyes swollen for days. The tech then argued with her in front of me. I told her I would remove the rest at home and I was leaving. If you go to get your nails or lashes done here beware of which tech you get/trust. The tech was Shelly. I've never seen her there before. I do NOT recommend her. Run as fast as you can. She was extremely cold, distant, seemed like she couldn't be bothered. She put mostly cool water for my pedi. Didn't ask me about the temp. She was annoyed when I politely asked for help setting up the massage chair. The worst was the bruise on my small left toe. She scraped the small, rectangular purple thing across my toes ripping my skin off, similar to a rug burn. I'm still having pain as I'm posting this. She just said, ooh, ooh, ooh. Unbelievable! Didn't offer antiseptic treatment or a bandage. Acted like she didn't understand English, she and the salon offered nothing. All acted like they didn't understand English. Horrible customer service.
