I read the reviews. I decided to give them a chance since I really liked coming here in the past. My nails previously done by Sonny (a tech that is no longer there.) I always get short nails anywhere I go. (They all speak English here, but the tech I had today could not comprehend me or acted like she couldn't) I thought if I had met Sonny there the other techs had to be nice. I guess not and that could be the reason she left. This establishment is not under new management. They explained it is still Anne that owns it and they have been there 10+ years. (Anne is really nice) I hate leaving bad reviews. I usually don't leave one if I have a bad experience just incase it is a bad day for the business. We all have bad days. I really don't want this to happen to anyone else. When I came in here I asked if it was okay I did not have an appointment. It was 3:30pm. The tech said it was okay. I told her I wanted short French round acrylic nails. She asked, you mean almond? I asked if almond was round and she said yes. I asked her to show me when she shaped it. She did and I let her know almond is not what I want, and that I want round short natural french nails. When I asked her to fix them she said she would after she applied acrylic and "I need to wait, she wasn't done." It was really rude. She was offended on the spot and I was just trying to help. I left her apply the acrylic and it was so thick on that it looked worse than fake nails out of Walgreens. It was shaped very badly and not professionally. I showed her and she said again "you need to wait, I not done" I tried to tell her how bad the thickness was then, she just kept reshaping my nails for 30 minutes with a regular nail file! (Not a drill). She filed them so long that she cut me in multiple places on my skin and none of the other finger nails on the opposite hand matched. (I had filed and cut my cuticles before I came in to hurry the process. She cut my actual skin) I asked her to have another nail tech look at them. They came over and spoke Spanish to me! (I am bilingual. I am also white. So that was funny) I told the other tech that the acrylic was too thick and was different shapes compared to the other nails on opposite hand. She agreed. The tech doing my nails then told me it was my fault cause my nails were too short. (What?! A real skilled nail tech can make anyone's nails look good) I explained that I have had short acrylic nails multiple times and never experienced this ever! She tried to fix them for another 20 minutes. At this point it was after 5pm!! I needed to get home. I asked how much for the nails if I stopped her there and didn't do anything else. She said $55. I replied "oh no". We both then agreed she needed to remove them. (Never had to remove nails after just having them put on at a nail salon!!!. First time for everything, right? Ugh. It was awful) She had to stick my hands that were cut in different places from her filing the sides of my nails off into nail remover. You could visibly see my hands bleeding!! It was painful. I let them sit for about 10 minutes, which was really all I could stand. The acrylic was so thick on my nails, I would have probably had to sit with my hands in the nail remover for an hour leaving me in excruciating pain. She came and clipped some of the nail off. While I was complaining to the other techs (I was in literal pain) another lady that was having her nails done, said that the lady who messed up my nails did her eyelashes wrong one day. Client said she had requested the hypoallergenic eye lash glue for sensitive eyes and my nail tech put the wrong glue on leaving her eyes swollen for days. The tech then argued with her in front of me. I told her I would remove the rest at home and I was leaving. If you go to get your nails or lashes done here beware of which tech you get/trust. I went to Nails Bar Spa, Friday April 4th, 2025. This is the second time I've been extremely disappointed by this place. I came around 10-10:30am that day to get a gel manicure and a regular pedicure for a wedding that I was apart of the next day. By the time we were on the way to a different state for this wedding, my gel polish is already lifting on my fingers. I spent $45 on both manicure and pedicure for a total charge of $90. I feel robbed after leaving a $20 tip before seeing the terrible quality of my nails a half an hour later. In total I spent $110 at this place!! Unfortunately, I was the only one with ugly nails in this bridal party. I HIGHLY recommend going somewhere else and not wasting your hard earned money at this place. And by April 8th, 2025, as I'm writing this review, all my polish on all my fingernails have chipped away. 0/10 if I could! read more

Worst mani/pedi I've ever received. I was charged $75 for nails & cuticles that are a mess with gel polish everywhere. These photos are right after I walked out the door. Also, the tech cut the side of my toe so bad it was bleeding and needed pressure to make it stop. I didn't even let them finish the pedicure because it was so bad I didn't want polish anywhere near that open wound. I'm going in vacation this weekend and I'm going to need to get these redone. Tried this salon out , they have signs on the door and walls to check out the NEW website for specials , I checked and saw they offer free hot stone massage with a pedicure purchase . He is really into researching the latest trends and having new colors and even makes his own sparkle gel powders. I like that they have the examples for each type of nail shape to help you choose. I went for SNS and in under a week they were falling off. Most had fallen off in a week and three days. I went into ask for it to be fixed. They told me they had a three day policy for SNS and I'd be paying full price. I have never had SNS anywhere else last for under three weeks and never had SNS just pop off. read more

The nail tech really messed my nails up! I came in with almond shaped nails which she messed up my shape completely! I asked to cut down a little which turned into short square nails. When asked what happened to my almond shape she then made my nails round and more shorter. My gel polish is lumpy and thick. The pedicure was ok. 93.00 was my total. Which my nails looked better before I came in for a fill-in! Save your time and money! read more

First, these ladies were very nice. The salon was very clean and really appealing inside. Unfortunately, I wont be back. Here's why: I did research and decided to try them bc I read several very good reviews. I specifically made an appointment for 3:30 bc I had a Dr. appointment at 5. Plenty of time to do SNS especially bc I was quoted 30 mins. I had mentioned I needed tips with my SNS and was expecting a little longer than 30 mins but wasn't quoted longer than 30. I left my appointment at 5! I was late for my doctor appointment. That's not even the biggest issue. My nails on the right hand are much longer than the nails on my left. It's literally disgusting how bad these are. When I asked for my color, black, the tech scoffed at me and was like "black?!?" That's when I SHOULD have left. She dipped my nails and didn't even cover the entire nail until about the 3rd time. These nails are disgustingly thick and tacky feeling. I had these done for my birthday. Don't chance it, waste of time and money. I also heard a tech tell a lady who got a pedicure she had to wait 1 hr before putting shoes on. Where did these people get trained? read more

All I wanted was coffin nails, easy enough. I even asked if they can do that. The girl said YES .... she clearly cannot do this! She called her husband then he walks in 5 min and takes over. I said she can't do coffin can she and he replied No, I haven't taught her!! UGH My nails were all a mess and I was furious. Seems no one in this town can do Coffin! I have gone to this place a handful of times over the past few months because it's super close to where I live. Unfortunately, the experience has been horrible. I started going somewhere else but today I only had a little bit of time and I said "hey, let me give this place ONE more try before I write them off for good.." I got dip powder on my nails and gel polish on my toes. They were really nice and fast, and the salon was really clean, they even offered us drinks. But she used the wrong color for my nails, they were extremely messy, and the dip powder was applied really thick and lumpy. The gel polish bled into my cuticle and she didn't even clean it up, and by the next day there was a chip. For the prices they charge, I was expecting better work. OMG, the lady dug in my finger and still hurts very bad 2 days later. I am unsure what she was doing since I just went in for a gel color change. I came in wanting a specific thing for my birthday. The guy come up to me to take care of me we argued for about 10 min he kept saying he only puts the holographic powder on black gel and I said I want pink gel and silver powder to make a rose gold chrome nail he finally said ok I do for u and I was scared that it wasn't gonna turn out right but he really did it right! He gave me some bomb nails! I then received a pedicure and I asked for a drink and they got me what I wanted and everything was fabulous my nails looked so great they took a pic of them . Unsanitary and unprofessional. After hearing good things about a man that did nails here, my sis and I decided to go. The women we had did not deserve to be employed here due to their extreme lack of talent and pissy attitudes. They spoke clear English until the woman cut my skin multiple times and had me bleeding. When I said something she immediately had a horrible attitude and did a terrible job on my nails. They continued to stare at my sister and I and speak in their language. I spent over $200 here to leave looking like they were done two weeks prior. If you are undecided and looking for a place you can depend on to do their best work every time you visit then this is the wrong place. Their employees are hit or miss, and you may leave with a fungal infection due to their unsanitary methods. My nail was bleeding as she dunked it into the SNS dip for the fourth or fifth time. In my honest opinion they don't even deserve 1 star. First off.. the gentleman that works there is rude as all get out. He waited until he was halfway into doing my friends nails when he jacked the price up. Then he proceeded to jack her nails up TWICE. Having to re-do them. My pedicure felt AMAZING. The girl was really good at the massages and they have nice chairs. However she didn't do a good paint job(see the photos) and she didn't even file them down. We won't be back. I happened upon this nail spot on a lazy Sunday. Not many nail spots are open on Sunday, but they are. First off it's absolutely beautiful inside. Very relaxed environment. The workers are professional and aren't talking loudly in their language like other places, they speak very good English. The young lady that took care of me is amazing. I go during my lunch and they get me in and out quickly with no wait. My gel usually lasts about 3 weeks. They're always friendly and the place is very clean. I was barely greeted by the owner, told to pick a color and sit (not given the option of gel Polish which my Groupon was for), clients walked in after me & were not only greeted but asked if they wanted water, juice or wine (I was not asked if I wanted a beverge) so I definitely said something to the owner about that. My best friend and I were excited to try out this new nail bar....WORST DECISION EVER! The experience started with a pedicure that was horrible! Not worth half of the $20 special they are running them for! My feet literally hurt now from getting the pedicure, beware!!! Then I got a full set of acrylic nails. Never have I had a nail tech tell me that I was wrong and that I couldn't have what I wanted, keep in mind it's what I get every other time I have ever had my nails done. She kept insisting that I had to have square shaped nails, I don't wear or like square shaped nails and further more if I am paying you for a service, GIVE ME THE SERVICE THAT I AM PAYING FOR! I tried this shop because my best friend goes there regularly and her nails usually look great. So needless to say I was optimistic, and I'm not usually one to venture out from my normal (especially when it comes to my hair and nails). From the minute I walked in to this establishment I never was greeted or asked about what service I would be recieving (gel polish change). After sitting there for a while someone came from the back and instructed the girl that had been sitting there for the past 10 minutes to start on me. She began filing my nails down all the way to the tips of my fingers without asking and then she just leaves. Then about 5 minutes later another woman comes and begins on my nails. She proceeds to file my nails down even more and then rounds them! At this point I'm ready to walk out but I stay cool. She them takes out a drimmel and starts on my nail bed. I promptly pull my hand away and ask her not to use that. She tries to reassure me that this is a part of the service and I explain to her that I Dont want my nail bed filed down. By this time I have thoroughly p****ed her off and she reluctantly finishes my nails. My nails look horrible and it'll take me a while to grow them back but I guess its my own fault maybe it was a sign when they didn't acknowledge me. She had me wash my hands and I got my pedicure, while getting pedicure I asked do she know she doing my nails, the girl responded its to late. We went here two weeks ago for a birthday gathering. The service started off awesome with an amazing pedicure with hot rocks, and finishing off with hot wax. That's where everything went bad. The man in charge did not like the idea of keeping our glasses full with wine and the minute we climbed out of the chairs he demanded money despite our services not being finished because he thought we all were about to walk out. I wanted a gel manicure... he skipped all the steps and went straight to painting my nails and cut the uv lamp up to the point that the heat was hurting my nails to cut the time in half. The nails chipped with in a week and mind you I work at a desk so that should not have happened and they all started to peel. Never again. Don't go!!!!! I don't know where to start. After the pedicure, the nail on each big toe was pointed like a mountain meaning they didn't even bother to file it. The young lady who massaged my calves did it so fast that it was like she was trying to start a fire with a stick. This is by far the worst nail salon I have ever been too. And I have been to many. I had a coupon so I thought I would try it. The woman who did my pedicure was rude and rushed through my entire pedicure. I think she was put out because I had a coupon. She kept trying to sell me the more expensive pedicure, so when I didn't want one she cut corners on mine. She did an entire pedicure on me, nail color and all in less than 15 minutes. For $22 dollars with the coupon, that is ridiculous. She never spoke to me and when done she left me telling me to let them dry. She went and did someone else's fingernails, Not once coming back to check on me. She never came back to even help me with flip flops or bring my bill. My mother was there as well. The lady doing her pedicure was not much better but when my moms toe nails were done she did come and help her with shoes and checked my mother and I out. A Pedicure is supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable. This was neither. Go elsewhere. Don't let the coupon lure you in. A color change is much cheaper than a pedicure even with the coupon and that is basically what I got. A one star is way more than deserved. read more

Upon completion of my nails not only were they disgustingly thick and uneven, but they looked as if I was due to get them done. The women that worked on my nails, my sisters, and my daughters were unprofessional and unsanitary. After visiting a place like this, I am not shocked that nail fungus is an epidemic in our country. 75 percent of the population are said to struggle with this at some point in their lives and I can only hope and pray that it won't be my family or myself after visiting here. Did not hear a word from the staff unless it was in another language and to each other. They would not let me get a regular manicure despite how much I despise gel, they insisted for easily 10 minutes until I finally agreed because they did not understand what I was saying and because I knew they wouldn't stop until I said yes. I should have known thing were not going to go well when a friend and I walked in and no one was there at 1:30 on a Thursday. Nail techs were rushed, ill-trained, and combative if any comment was made about the job they were doing. When I commented that one nail was smudged, they blamed it on the polish and said it was brand that takes three or four coats. Why use that brand then? Also, there was a contractor in the salon cutting metal (loudly) with a hacksaw for the length of our entire manicure. We left with manicures that a 7 year old could have done better. It makes me so happy to write this review. I went there for the 1st time yesterday. I will never go anywhere else!! The place is GORGEOUS!! Its bright, clean and the chairs are brand new. I love the concept of a bar for getting your nails done. The stylists are friendly. They were all asking if I wanted a drink and if I needed anything. We met the owner and his eife. They were fun and we had some laughs. Overall, I cannot recommend the place any higher than 5. after having had soooooo many bad experiences in nail salons it makes this exceptional experience even more so. Thanks to the Nail Bar!!
