My go to for healthy nails is KV Nails. What I love most about the shop is that it's by appointment only, which means it's not crowded and they take you in as soon as you arrive. Another thing I love is that Kris inspects your nails and suggest the best product for you. Another great takeaway is that they take their time with your hands and feet and you leave with a feeling of satisfaction. KV Nails is a family owned business and kris (the owner) always has a great conversation for her patrons. If you are active and you do a lot with your hands, ask Kris about the hybrid gel polish for your hands.

Went again, still horrible customer service! ALWAYS sticking with VENICE in Harrisburg! Grander experience, nice Management & Employees, with Great SERVICE! It's worth the drive, don't go here!!!!!!!! Come to VENICE! They love all people! Better Quality too!

Nails are badly damaged and stripped

So I'm not the type of person to leave reviews because I know negative reviews can severely impact a business, however I have gone two weeks trying not to say anything negative or to share negative feedback about this place and I don't think I can anymore. I want others to be careful before spending their hard-earned money at this place. So I've been here twice. Both times I made an appt. First appt was only for a gel fullset with tips. I should have known from the first visit not to come back because for starters there was only one person working and she wasn't even halfway finished with the woman's pedicure she was doing when I came for my appointed time. luckily, I had to soak previous nails off so her daughter (who I don't think is licensed and is in high school) helped me soak them off and she was very sweet and informative, and I was tended to right after the soak. The leading woman (who also owns the shop with her husband who also does nails but has not been there much either times I've gone) came to do my nails, added the tips, but then someone came in as a walk in and she told me to wait while she went to do his hands. I only had one hand done but it was pretty annoying because I was also on a time crunch and had somewhere to be afterward. She kept sending her unlicensed teenage daughter to help me and it wasn't a good experience at all. I also asked for a certain shaped nail and she did not give me what I asked for. Her daughter ended up painting my nails and doing the gel set and adding the jewel because her mom was too busy tending to the walk in, which is not right since I'd made an appointment, but I let that slide because I did like the nails, even though they weren't the shape I asked for. Not loved, but liked. And all that to pay 70$ for bad service. I wanted to give the place another chance because it's not a bad shop, it's organized and clean and everything has a place. They are also covid safe, so I booked another appt a few weeks after. I came in and her son was just very harsh in tone. Not a pleasant greeter. I had to soak my nails again because I wanted the shape I actually wanted not what she gave me the first time, and she kept insisting I keep the same tip and she could turn it into the shape I wanted but I highly doubted it because I for one wanted the tip longer and I wanted a cleaner look. I also got a pedicure and was given the nail colors to look through and had to soak my fingers so I didn't get the chance to really look through colors, but her son kept constantly asking me if I was done with the colors and I would say my hands are soaking, so no I haven't really looked. He asked me at least 4 times all while seeing my fingers soaking and occupied. And no one else was in the shop so I didn't understand what the hurry was to get the nail templates back. Anyway, my pedicure was horrible. She used alcohol on my feet which I have never in my life had done before and I've had a lot of pedicures. She asked if I wanted my toe nails cut, and I said yes but all she did was cut them. Didn't file them at all but from where I was sitting I couldn't really see my toe nails so I didn't realize until leaving the shop that the toe nails were uneven and crooked and just horrible! She painted them so bad! It looked like a 7 yr old did them! Then the manicure gel and full set with tips happened and I asked her for a clear tip on one nail and she acted like it was inconvenience to get. She over-filed the edges of my nails and my thumb was hurting and I told her that. She put on tips that were not the right size for my fingers too. Then when I asked for a sticker add on for both my ring fingers, she put two different sized flowers on each one and then said to my face "No one will notice" even when I insisted that they weren't the same sized flower, so I didn't get any add ons at all. Suffice to say, it was an overall terrible 2nd experience in that place and it was way overpriced. $100. My thumb nail broke off the second day of the set from grabbing a quarter. And I guarantee you, I'm not rough on my hands. The paint chipped on my toes three days in. And around the fifth day, 3 other finger nails were cracked. I went to another nail shop and had them removed right away. I paid KV Nails because the lady owner was really nice, but she is older and when she was talking it just seemed like she didn't want to work there anymore and that she rushes her work with her clients. And it's almost like her husband may be keeping her hostage there. They won't hire any other nail techs. She's the only one there and she clearly does not like it. She was miserable about having to work and it seemed she wanted to leave and never return and that is not something a paying client wants to witness. For all I know, she may have given me a bad nail job because she wants the place to shut down and for people to stop coming. I wouldn't blame her. She mentioned wanting to travel and I do hope she gets to do that one day

It has taken me quite some time to write this review. About two months actually. I wanted to make…read moresure that I was being fair and not writing from pure emotion. According to my previous reviews I have been a loyal customer but unfortunately no longer. I've always loved the service from the nail techs as well as the owner, Jason. For this appointment, I scheduled in advance in order to get my favorite nail tech. I learned my lesson before when I walked in and had to go with another nail tech because she wasn't available. While I waited for her, Jason offered to take my nails which he did, no problem. After finishing he placed a sheet of paper in front of me filled with handwritten names and phone numbers. He pointed to my name and asked if that was me. I happily replied yes when I recognized my phone number. He then proceeded to tell me that I had written a bad review and I needed to take it down. Taken aback I asked him to repeat it. He did. I informed him that my review honestly captured my experience and I was happy to update it. I asked him if he addressed my concerns. Rather than acknowledging my concerns or even apologizing, he continued to state that I needed to take my review down. At this point I felt bullied because I realized that this was likely something he has done before which means that the reviews are not an honest reflection of people's experiences. He went on to tell me that I could not be serviced unless I took the review down. I asked how much I owed him for taking my nails off and promptly paid him cash. I then walked out and headed to the new nail salon that just opened by my house. I hadn't gone there yet because I was willing to drive the 30 minutes to come here. This was my last trip to Concord Nail Spa. I'm very disappointed and shocked to learn that Jason, the owner bullies people into writing the reviews that he wants. He said that I should have come to him first and I actually agree with him. Had he responded to my concerns I would have done an update acknowledging that. Instead, I'm documenting this experience.

I wanted to like this nail salon because almost all the nail techs are black women, but it's a no…read more Their prices are fair. The work is decent but could be tightened up a little bit. I got a full set of acrylics - medium almond w/gel polish. My nails started lifting and popping off a week after getting them done. I've never had my nails come off that quickly. I went to get one of the popped off ones fixed. The male nail tech was rude. He got upset because I didn't remember the number and asked for a book to see. Then he didn't match the shape. When I asked him to fix it, he got an attitude. My nails were pointy almond and he made it round almond. I also had to tell him to make it the same length as the other ones. Another attitude.
