When i initially sat down she was on FaceTime and she moved her phone like 6 times (into different positions around the table) so whoever she was talking too could see her i guess? At first i thought she was trying to record content which is ok with me but then she was showing the screen to her coworkers, im assuming so they can say hi. I couldn't understand the language. So while she was cutting and drilling my nails, she was watching her phone and ended up breaking the edge of my thumb nail after she cut them down. She didn't apologize or say anything she just put nail glue over it and continued. At this point I'm irritated because i see she's not removing my dead skin/cuticles and i tried communicating that but there was lack of understanding. I could've been more aggressive and gotten other people involved but i didn't. At this point i wanted to just finish up and leave. When she started painting i immediately regretted walking in. The paint job was pad. Lumpy, not on the edges of my nail. The simple nail art she agreed to know how to do, she did not. She had to wipe and redo several times. I stayed quiet and let her finish so i could just lay and leave. Overall the nails were $55 and i life $5 tip. I will never return here. I don't want Jenny to get in trouble, but if someone had reviewed this place, it would've helped me choose to not go. So I'm hoping to help someone else out. Avoid spending your time and money here. There was definitely a language problem because I told her NOT to cut the toenails too short as this causes ingrown toenails. She obviously did not understand and cut them way way way too short. She repeatedly reassured me that I would be seen right away and even encouraged me to upgrade to the deluxe pedicure for a better experience, while continuing to promise that I would still be done within the hour. Unfortunately, that was far from the truth. I sat in the chair for almost 50 minutes without anyone starting my service. I went back to the front desk and explained that I needed to leave within the next 20 minutes, which was already later than I originally planned. Again, I was reassured that someone was coming immediately. At that point, they suggested I downgrade to the classic pedicure so it could be completed within my timeframe. A woman named Wendy finally came over, started setting up the station, then told me she needed to come back. After another 10 minutes passed and I again expressed frustration to the front desk, she finally returned. Even then, instead of beginning the pedicure, she spent time on the phone while the water was running. The actual pedicure itself was rushed and poor quality. My feet were barely scrubbed, and the French tip was done so poorly that another employee had to step in and finish it. What frustrates me most is that I ended up leaving two full hours after I originally arrived, paid $60, and still did not receive a quality service. I have frequented this salon before for pedicures, and this is the first time I have had such a negative experience. The biggest issue was the lack of honesty and communication from the front desk at the beginning. If I had simply been told that the salon was extremely busy and there was no guarantee I could be seen quickly, I would have left, handled what I needed to do, and come back another time. Instead, I was repeatedly reassured just to sit there waiting for two hours. Sadly, after this experience, they will not be receiving my business again.

They were rough handling my hands, used a drill bit at 10 speed to remove the nail polish. They only lowered the speed of the drill bit at towards the end because I was crying. The other staff member seated next to her did nothing to resolve the issue. Afterwards, she used her finger nails to dig into my cuticles and skin. I don't recommend anyone get a gel manicure by this particular staff member. Also, when applying the gel polish and using the LED light, the light instantly began to burn due to improper application of the gel polish.

Needless to say, they fixed my nails, and I left thinking everything was taken care of and that I would have nice polish for my upcoming trip. Well... the very next day, while in Mexico, I got in the pool for maybe 10 minutes, and multiple toes were already missing polish. By the third day of my trip, I had NO polish left on my toes. When I called the salon to discuss what happened, I was told that it had been more than 48 hours and that I would have to pay for a "new" service. At this point, it's not even about the money--it's about doing what's right. As a returning customer of a year, I expected better customer service and for the salon to stand behind its work, especially when the same issue had already happened once before. Needless to say, I'm now looking for a new salon--one that understands that sometimes wrong is wrong and values its returning customers.

I appreciate the fact that the nail technicians speak English to each other and communicate effectively with their customers. It may seem like an insignificant detail, but this promotes a trusting and respectful environment. The service providers are very courteous and transparent with their clients. My pedicure didn't feel rushed, and the sanitation precautions were carefully observed. While it isn't the fanciest nail salon around, they Do a fine job. I wouldn't hesitate to patronize this establishment again.
