The first time I went here I got a pedicure and it was fantastic!! The second time I went there got a pedicure by one person then they switched and I got the gel manicure by someone else. Again, the pedicure was fantastic but the manicure was horrible. Nails were thick and she made my cuticles bleed. I gave this place one more try but it is the last one. The pedicure I got was basically someone rubbing a little lotion on my legs. There was definitely a language problem because I told her NOT to cut the toenails too short as this causes ingrown toenails. She obviously did not understand and cut them way way way too short. I am dealing with the pain from that now. The polish job was sloppy...got polish all over my cuticles and missed the sides of my toenails. Now I am off to find a new nail salon. read more

The service was decent but those prices are much higher than any nail salon in the area. That's why there was no wait today when I went in to get my nails done. I was in and out in about 35 minutes! Halfway through the procedure the nail tech (Tony) swapped out with his lovely wife Ukay, to do my nails. It was an okay job, but not great. No refreshments were offered, no hot towel or even a hand massage. There was nothing to justify the pricing. I got SNS powder and nail tips. The prices aren't posted anywhere, but it costs $55.00. The parking lot was a bit crowded. They share with a large Publix Supermarket and at least four other small businesses. It's a full service salon that offers nail and pedicure services, waxing as well as eye lash extensions. If you have more money than time this is the place for you. Sixty dollars later.... Off discount for being a new customer. The girl who did my half-ass pedicure was 20 years old in college. She didn't even know how to polish my toes. I was in the chair for 2 hours and feel like I was robbed! There were no licenses that I could see and I damn well know this girl didn't know what she was doing! They advertise free drinks but was never offered anything! When I went to pay it turned out to be $70.00 plus tip! No $10.00 discount! These people are vultures! I took my four year old daughter with me to get a mani/pedi - her first one. The guy at the door first said it'll cost $15 to get gel nail on her hands. Once seated, I let these money hungry vultures convince me to let her get a pedicure well. At first I debated whether she was even tall enough for her feet to hit the water from the chair. I should have known they weren't equipped to deal with a child when they didn't even have a child sized pedicure chair available. I wanted my daughter to have a good experience so I went ahead and let them do the "pedicure". That's when two different women started working on her - one on her feet and one on her hands. Now, I, as an experienced nail shop frequenter, can appreciate the efficiency of not having to wait for your pedicure to end to start your nail service. At first I didn't say anything when they both came to work on her. But then the women who was doing her nails kept sucking her teeth and huffing and puffing every time my daughter moved - as if the person doing her pedicure wasn't literally tickling her feet! After a few too many huffs and aggressive "don't move"s I intervened quietly to remind her that my daughter is just four years old. I told her that perhaps we need to wait until her pedicure is finished and then transition her to a seat to work on her nails. My request was ignored. She continued to try to work on my daughter's hands while she was seated in the pedicure chair (on the edge of the chair, btw). After the next huff and puff and admonishment of my child for moving - I had to aggressively insist that she stop working on her hands and transfer her to a table. She had a nasty attitude after that. She didn't even walk my daughter to the table. She didn't help put her shoes on as she left the pedicure chair. And she continued to make it a terrible experience. My daughter, for the most part was sort of oblivious and just happy that she was getting sparkly nail polish - so I couldn't address the issue the way that it deserved without ruining the experience for her. Then they handed me a sheet of paper charging $27 for her "gel manicure" and $33 for her "gel pedicure". $60 for a child! That's predatory. These people should not offer children's services because they are NOT equipped nor to they have the affect to service small children. Additionally, if they have to resort to such predatory tactics, then perhaps they need to find a more affordable location. Let a decent nail service provider take the space. read more

Horrible experience at this shop, specifically with Tiffany. For some unknown reason, she refused to give me service. I used to see her every visit and switched to another tech when she was on maternity leave. Today, Kathy had two appointments and so I requested Tiffany. Even though she was finishing up with another client, she refused to take me. But instead she took a walk in that came in 15 minutes after me, and just left me there waiting. I have no idea why she refused to service me and she was quite rude about it. It's not acceptable to treat a long time customer and it's shocking that Tiffany is allowed to do this (several times) and get away with it. I've spent thousands with this business over the last four years and enough is enough. Tiffany should be reprimanded and fired for her unprofessionalism and rudeness. I deserve better treatment and the management of this business deserves better employees than rude Tiffany. For this reason, I do not recommend this shop. Do better! read more

Came here for a pedicure and was disappointed. I did get a basic pedicure, however, the employee, a gentleman, did not massage my feet at all. He literally just rubbed them He also barely even scrubbed my feet... he LIGHTLY scrubbed them for a few seconds but that's it. I decided to check out their special and see if it's worth it and my-oh-my it was worth every dollar! Now my nail technician was Chia and sh was awesome! She was thorough and she took her time! I had a relaxing pedicure that left me looking forward to my next on! They have an array of polish colors to choose from (FYI the silver top bottles are gel which last a little longer and will cost $3 more)! I was going to another nail salon and have been getting SNS nails for a few years. My neighbors recommended NOA Nail Spa, so I decided to give them a try. I got my SNS nails and a pedi. When I walked in, without an appointment, the receptionist at the desk was very friendly and accommodating. She told me to choose my color for the pedi and then choose a pedicure chair. Soon, the pedicurist (I didn't get her name) arrived and got to work. The basic pedi included lotion, hot towels and even a paraffin dip. It felt great and came out looking beautiful! While receiving my pedi, Tiffany came over and did my SNS manicure at the same time. It was great to have everything done in about an hour and a quarter. My nail tech was rude and very rough during my pedicure to the point that I said I was uncomfortable. I went to NOA for the first time today and requested a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The wait was 15 minutes. The establishment is beautiful but I had a horrible experience. The pedicurist and manicurist were working simultaneously (which was EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE) because I was unable to just RELAX and enjoy the pedicure. When I expressed my uncomfortableness the 2 technicians began speaking (in their language) and it was OBVIOUS that they were talking about me! HOW VERY RUDE! I asked to have my nails trimmed down to remove just the tip (my nails are rounded) and the technician cut my ENTIRE thumb nail down to the skin ! Then proceeded to tell me that my nails are too brittle! Ma'am I've NEVER been told that before! Additionally, the floors are ceramic tile and VERY SLIPPERY (especially when wet) yet there are signs all over the place stating that the floors are slippery BUT if you fall THEY are not liable?!?! Ummm I'm new to NC but I've always believed that if someone gets hurt in an establishment and it's not their fault (ie; they didn't intentionally spill water on the floor) then the establishment is FULLY RESPONSIBLE! I'll check the NC Laws! They didn't have the colors I wanted in gel (just SNS) and my nails have NEVER looked so SLOPPY! Just moved to the area and I decided to come here to try out the SNS. I have to say I'm HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! I only gave them two stars for the color selection and decor in the establishment. First and foremost customer service is key; I wasn't offered any type of beverage like other customers or light conversation regarding the service. It was as if I was bothering the tech regarding my questions on color and technical knowledge. Secondly, the male nail tech was pretty rough. He drilled my skin more than the nail, broke one of my natural nails all the way off, and was very sloppy in technique. I went to NOA nail spa of Weddington road in concord last Thursday. I take back everything I said about this nail salon. I paid a total of $100 only for my nails to break the following week. I went to the salon. And asked that they repair my nails, 3 in total. They told me I would have to pay for the repairs because they have a policy of 3 days after the full set. There is nothing posted in the salon to say they have a 3 day policy and refused to fix my nails. I will not recommend this place I'm going to dispute the charge to get my money back because I didn't pay for nails that broke. Do not go to this salon. They are unfair and do not give good customer service. It's saddened me that they wouldn't honor the fact that my nails broke off. Beware of what price they tell you initially and KEEP your original ticket they give you. I got two services- deluxe pedi and acrylic nails(short) no color but a free hand design that consist of two lines and dots. The first tech wrote her price for my feet and after the nail tech wrote hers I left my ticket and phone at my nail station to use the bathroom/go wash my hands. I came back to pay, after picking up my phone(the ticket was gone). I walked to the register and had a different yellow ticket with my nails having $20 added to it. After trying to figure out what this "new price" was, I was eventually charged what I originally was told as I'm sure she knew she was wrong. (But act as if she couldn't explain it-language barrier). It never fails with these salons trying to up they price throughout your entire visit. You can never just "relax"anymore, there going to squeeze as much money out of you or simply just try taking it if you don't pay attention. This is my second time visiting this place. My first wasn't pleasant and the second time could use some fine tuning. I always feel rushed when I come here. For example the first time I got a deluxe pedicure and it honestly felt like a standard. Both with quality and with time. For my second visit I got the standard and it was no different from the deluxe. It allows annoys me when comments are made in another language during a service and giggles are had. It's common courtesy not to do that and of course one always has to assume the remarks are of the customers. Ben does a good job of shaping acrylics, however he doesn't have the most welcoming personality and is guilty of the snarky comments and looks with giggles in their native language. Spending $120 on a visit the very least one can ask for is courtesy and respect. Great nail salon! I've gotten 2 SNS manicures here and they are so fun! Lasts about 5 weeks. Salon is clean and inviting. They offer drinks and work quickly! I love all of the color options including glitter! SNS is $40 plus tip. You can get 5% off if you leave a social media review with a picture of your manicure. Just tell them before they ring you up! I have yet to get a pedicure here yet but that will be the next service I try. I would've given it five stars if not for my experience today. The first time I came I had a very personable tech who was very gentle with my hands and didn't hurt me once. We chatted a little bit. She was young and very friendly. I wish I could remember her name! It might be Nancy but it might not be. I have such a bad memory! On my most recent trip today I had a different tech. She was rude, barely spoke to me, hurt me several times with the sander tool, didn't clean up her workstation, and left the undersides of my nails full of polish and glitter :-/ Hopefully I'll have a different tech next time.
