I've been here a few times and Leo is AMAZING! I hate that I have to write this but I had an appointment on Sat for 1030 for full set and a pedi I sat down for a pedicure now this happened my Previous visit as well. Last comes over very nice took my polish off cut down my nails and here comes the receptionist asking my nail tech did she do the previous clients manicure she said no only a pedicure she then motions her to come to the front interrupts my pedicure. The lady comes back oh someone else will do your pedicure I have to go and walked away. I sat in the water for 10 min no one ever came over I saw Leo I got out of the water and said no thank you I would like my full set and leave. This is so unprofessional it was Valentines Day weekend and all o have is a full set and little kid toes. I love the staff at Axis. They strive to make sure that all of their customers feel welcome and accepted, which is greatly appreciated. As a dude with acrylics, it's hard to find a salon that doesn't have staff that looks at you like you have three eyes. I have been to this salon twice now. The first time was on the weekend and I was able to walk right in. The nail tech did a great job. The second time I made an appointment with the same girl as the first. Every time she has been consistent with her quality of work. She also has an amazing attention to detail. Each time I have gotten the SNS and it lasts two weeks or more. It actually would last longer, but my nails grow out so fast that I have to get them done again. The music they play is good and the facility is clean. They also offer drinks while you are there. I dont know what exactly they offer because I always get bottled water. I've been here a couple times for pedicures & they've always been ok. I usually don't upgrade to a deluxe but I thought I'd treat myself plus my feet needed some TLC before vacation. David did my pedi & I'm honestly disappointed. My nails were trimmed very short so now I look like I have stubby toes. One leg got a nice long massage, the other was about half the time. But the most disappointing was the scrubbing of my heels. There was essentially none. My heels weren't horrible by any means but they needed a gooThere were also a couple dry/callus spots I have on a couple toes that weren't even touched. It honestly was the shortest, worst "scrubbing" I've ever had in all my years getting pesos. The other issue while masking requirements are being eased up, they placed 3 people in chairs right next to each other who weren't together. And there were only 3 people getting pedis. We're not out of this pandemic by any means so would it have killed them to space us out a bit? Unfortunately I won't be going back to a place where I pay $50 for a deluxe pedi where I will now have to go home & scrub my own heels. read more

Still left $10 tip because I actually tip well but definitely wasn't worth the price of the $45 service. I doubt I will return after receiving such quality of work. I called yesterday to ask about an appointment - the receptionist said they had no appointments and they were very busy with walk-ins. She recommended that I make an appointment for today and come in first thing because Tommy doesn't take appointments for Saturday. I made a pedi appointment for 10:15. They open at 9 and I arrived about 8:45. As I was sitting in my car a line started to form. I quickly got in line! When I checked in I requested Tommy and told them if my appointment. My pedi was bumped up and was done in 20 minutes. I waited about 25 minutes for Tommy to come and do my SNS manicure. He was attentive and professional while he completed my fingers and managed the salon. My pedi seemed a bit rushed and is average. My mani is beautiful and well done. Thank you! read more

Really not happy with my nails. I have never had a bad experience here but of course my girl had an attitude with me while I'm getting my WEDDING nails done. Very simple, deep smile sns french nails is what I asked. I've gotten this done before so I wasn't worried. I wanted the base to not be pink, like bubble bath & not clear as it would show imperfections on my real nail. I wanted a nude or veryy light pink. My girl and the other tech beside her ROLLED THEIR EYES. I was very kind the whole time as I was scared to make the tech mad at me and risk messed up nails for my wedding. My nails are very uneven, and just done sloppy. I asked her to fix a few very obvious hings but stopped speaking up because I could tell she was getting irritated with me. I don't think I will be coming back. I also paid over $100 for gel regular pedi and sns full set. Seems overpriced for a half a$$ job. Upset but just trying to have a good weekend with no additional stress. Again, my nails aren't the worst thing in the world but I have never seen this low quality work front axis before and especially didn't expect this after I told the girl these nails are for my wedding in 2 days. read more

Had to switch nail salons bc the tech I was going to at my old salon left without notice, and I wasn't happy with the other people there that attempted to do my nails. I saw this place driving by then checked the reviews, and gave it a whirl. I made an appointment, and walked right in. I was very nervous bc I had no idea who was doing my nails and whether or not I would be happy bc I'm very picky. I was so happy with my SNS result. Leo listened and is very precise in his work. I've been back a second time already. He is officially my new nail tech. The establishment is clean, and quiet. The only thing I would change is the one receptionist that has an attitude problem. I would have given a 5 star rating a few months ago this salon is so peaceful and clean and the staff was outstanding the first 3 visits. However, today my mother and I had appointments for 4:00 after sitting in pedicure chair for over an hour with our feet in cold water the receptionist walked over to the male (I am under the impression he is the manager) to let him Know we had an appointment and had been sitting for over an hour waiting he looked me straight in the face and shrugged his shoulders as if to say so...I could care less...I then got up then helped my 72 year old mother out of the pedi chair and we left....and not one employee was concerned that we were leaving... I was escorted fairly quickly to the back area for my services , a technician finally started to come to me but was told (I'm assuming in their language) to go to another lady instead. Today I called Axis Nail Salon at 6:20pm about the time they stop accepting walk-ins. They verbally stated over the phone that if I arrive before 6:30 they could service me. I arrived at 6:27. When I walked inside the lady I spoke to on the phone told me they could not service me because they turned off the lights 8 minutes ago. I stated that we just spoke on the phone and I drove over here for that specifically why wasn't that communicated when I asked. She simply said "sorry". THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE. Got my nails done by a lady name Hannah, she was sweet but if I get my nails done on a Wednesday how Do two nails break on a Friday ? I got a full set for my birthday and I was extremely upset that I waisted my money ! I came back that Friday to get the repairs and the manager (a male) fixed them However he was bragging the entire time about how fast he was and still charged me $10.00. He even pointed out that the previous nail tech (Hannah) made my ring finger nail too long, but did not bother to fix them . I was highly annoyed but I paid the money and left . Approximately that Saturday, two more nails from different fingers broke. I called Axis nails about 20 Times that Sunday and NO-ONE picked up the phone for me which was odd. I used to come here all the time and have never had a bad experience, sometimes I book an appointment but other times i just walk in and still get the best service. Everyone is always very nice and accommodating however today Tien was my nail tech and I tried serval times to direct him in how I wanted my nails shaped and he tried to listen but proceeded to do the complete opposite. He also painted my entire finger past the nail with gel. He then proceeded to file parts of the gel off because there were big goopy parts and just left it- then painted over it but you can still see the scuff marks from where he filed. I don't even understand how he could be a nail tech- I could probably have painted mine more with more care. Im so upset with my service and I really wish I didn't pay for it when I left. I don't know if I'll come back here. (Psa I know my nails are super short. I'm trying to grow them out which is why I decided on gel) read more

I booked a 60 minute "deluxe pedicure" on their online scheduler, received a half hour with very little attention. Pointed this out to front desk and was still charged for the hour with not even a hint of an apology. Hana did my nails and was phenomenal. I get the SNS dip powder; she paid attention to detail and made sure I liked everything along the way. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area. Ann is great! The salon is very nice and they are conscientious about cleanliness. But, I chose to go there because of Ann. My feet are odd so I get acrylics on my toes. Ann does a wonderful job. I have SNS on my fingers, sometimes ombré, sometimes with a design, sometimes plain. She does a great job every time! read more

VERY DISGUSTED! I have patronized this establishment since it's opening about three years ago. Meng who has done my pedicure since the beginning has been the reason why I have returned. I have attempted to retain a nail tech.... Since Grace and Leah left. No LUCK. With Tommy managing, his subtle discrimination as well as his negative attitude. The consistent turn over in front desk staff/nail techs all exhibit poor robotic attitudes! As of yesterday and my service from Jimmy, his attitude and service rendered was disgusting over charging me by $20 dollars never acknowledging or saying thank you after finishing I will never allow anyone there ever again to do my nails. Culturally the are far removed the treatment is despicable and energy is negative. It's no surprise that there is no growth happening there! read more
