This is my first time at In 2 Nails, and I am absolutely impressed! The shop has many different nail colors and types of services that you can choose from. I completed a Gel X Pedicure and a Gel Shellac manicure with a pearl treatment and I'm happy with the results. I had an awful experience with Micah. I have very sensitive nail beds and Micah insisted on using a drill on my nails (no acrylics - my REAL nails). What makes it worse is that one of my nails had broken down to the nail bed and we all know how painful and sensitive that can be. I literally begged her to stop using the drill and asked that she file it instead. She argued with me and she was LOUD about it! She was rude, unprofessional and loud. She kept insisting that her work would not last long if she didn't use a drill. I was very pleasant and told her that I understand and I would not penalize her for it. She put up such a fight with me and was incredibly insensitive to my needs. Last week I walked in for a pedicure, I stood at the front desk for about 30 seconds. There were 5-6 nail techs and no one greeted me! Micah actually looked me in the eye and went back to work without even acknowledging my presence or asking what I needed. Again...she's rude! (Due to a lack of glue) Cody did not like that i said his girlfriend didn't do a good job being that one popped off FOUR days after being done... And this is what he let me leave with... This place is fantastic! It is under new ownership and Cody, the new owner, is really great! I usually get SNS manis every 3 weeks but these guys do something similar called Revel Nail. My nails look and feel amazing, Cody did a great job on them! He also mentioned that they are doing some new things that was not offered under the previous ownership. The basic pedicure is $25, $5 extra if you want a nail design, comparable to every other nail salon. I came in with 3 of my relatives around 2pm on a Friday and 3 of us were taken right away. My 3rd relative waited about 10 minutes. They have 10 chairs for pedicures. The massage chairs were bad quality, not easy to navigate, and also the neck setting goes way too high. I'm about 5'7". My nail technician did a good job cleaning my cuticles, but my leg massage felt like nothing, just light touching and something new is they use hot stones here, but they are not hot. The polish isn't the best quality because after showering once, my clear coat doesn't look as shiny.. **They handwash the nipper, cutter, etc. and reuse them right away on the next person instead of buying one of those warm heaters to disinfect the tools. It would be a tragedy if someone with a blood infection was cut and it was spread here. I'm from out of town, so not necessarily a bad choice because we didn't have a bad experience, but will probably choose a different place if I come back to NC. read more

My normal guy was out of town and I had broken two nails today and I had somewhere I had to be tomorrow. I saw someone who had nice nails I asked her where she got them done she recommended this place even recommend it Noelle, so I thought I'd give her a try. When I went there they weren't busy at all which I guess should have been my first warning. I asked for Noelle I should have known by looking at her own nails that I probably shouldn't have stayed but I did. I told her to look at the nails I had I like the shape of them I like the length I like the thickness everything they were perfect and that's what I wanted she said she could do that no problem. She asked me if I wanted to take the set off that I had or if I wanted a full in. The ones I had were only 2 weeks old but she said that's the best thing because they might not have color to match up which didn't make any sense since she was taking the stuff off of it you're going to be putting new color on it but I went ahead and went for it. I told her what I specifically what I did and did not want my nails to look like, she said trust her she's been doing nails a long time so I decided to trust her. Big mistake my nails look like the tails of a beaver flat unattractive very unnatural looking and thick they went above the cuticles in my. I told her I didn't like them they looked terrible and she tried to file him down a little bit but just kept making them look worse. So she got someone else to try. Another lady tried to fix them but they were to far gone I didn't get her name she was very sweet when I realized that they're just making them shorter and shorter and a lot more misshapen I said just take him off please. So Noelle sit down with the bad attitude. She cut the ends of them off but left everything else on my nails beds and said their you go they are off. When I looked down at my nails I said I'm not leaving this place with my nails like this so she put some acetone in a little bowls and had me soak them walked off started talking about me and wouldn't help me anymore so the lady who had tried to help me before kept coming back and helped me get the rest of the stuff off. Finally after about 15 minutes Noelle came back. She didn't apologize she had bad attitude towards me because she did my nails wrong. When she was taking the set off that she put off she even cut my finger and then when she told me I had to soak it in an acetone I said will that not hurt and she said yeah probably. Her customer service and her professionalism was appalling I'll never go back there again and I wouldn't recommend them to that my worst enemy. I spent over 2 hours there, walked in with beautiful looking nails only needing to replace the 2 I broke and walked out without any nails on at all. The owner was there as well and never bothered to try and make things right. No wonder there weren't any customers in there when all the other nail salons in the area are always busy. read more

One of my favorite nail salons!! I have visited over 20 times and have never left disappointed. I highly recommend the deluxe pedicure.. It is more than worth the up charge! It includes a sugar scrub, mask, and a dip in wax that leaves your feet feeling incredibly soft. The workers are super friendly and make you feel very welcome. They all do an excellent job at all of their services. Prices are awesome, and they offer 20% off services Mon-Thurs! They also provide complimentary beverages which is a fun bonus. Great manicure and pedicures. Clean. Friendly staff. They have a great selection of colors if you like to do the gel nail polish. They offer wine while you get your nails done (albeit cheap stuff) and if they don't offer... just ask! They take the tools for your manicure right out of the sterilization packs in front of you. This is a follow up to my previous review. It been 7 weeks since I was given a gel manicure (when I asked for a regular!) and my nails are still a mess! Whatever products were used on them has completely and utterly damaged my nails so much they they actually hurt because they can't grow! This 'salon' should be shut down. So went there with 4 yr old. I knew right away the one doing my daughters toes didnt seem friendly at all to me nor my 4 yr old. While my daughter was sitting in chair i asked how much to paint both her toes and hands and when I asked this she was sitting in chair and toes in water. The one girl said $8 then she said OH no $10. So when I went to pay the one whom did my daughters toes said $15 i said why she said for the water I said you have got to be kidding me I am not paying that and I didnt but she was angry and said thats what manager (male) told her I said well go get him because thats not what I was told she said OH he left. So this place is SHADY! Girl that did my pedicure did great job thought great I can come back here but after that whole thing NEVER lost a customer over $5 terrible service. Horrible customer service!!! The girls are rude and will talk about you either in their native language, or by whispering in front of you. When I went to redeem a coupon from the grocery store, they tried to stiff me a few dollars saying I came in on a Friday since they offered less on that day. Problem is my appointments were always on Thursdays. Shady is putting it mildly. Prices were never consistent on the same things. Terrible service. Terrible staff. My pedicure was so bad that my toe nails cut a hole in my sock afterwards. She did not even file my toe nails because she was so busy trying to "up sale" me into spending more and more money at every turn. Then when I went back for a liquid nail fill from Lily, she yelled at me in front of other customers and staff saying that she would not do it because I didn't show up for my last full. This place was very clean and felt very professional. My husband and I went to get pedicures for our "date day" on a Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere was relaxing, the massage chairs were AMAZING, the free alcohol is always a + and for just $25 with the hot stones is always a pleasant surprise. My toes look great and so do my cuticles! We will be back :) The only negative we both said was we didn't really get a foot massage, but perhaps that's not part of a basic pedicure. I went on line to find a place to get a pedicure. I found In 2 Nails and read the reviews. I had to try it, so I went over today. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I had the best pedicure I have ever had. She let my feet soak in a warm bath, rubbed my legs and feet with an abrasive gel which gave me goosebumps. Hot rocks were next which was amazing and then before painting my toenails she wrapped my legs and feet in warm towels. Incredible!! I'm going to tell all my friends! Nothing but absolute wonderful things to say about this salon. I began coming here after they had been taken over by new ownership and it became my go-to salon with my friends for a couple of months. They have never failed to give me a beautiful manicure. I ended up becoming friends with the owners because they are so friendly and careful with their work! Cody, and sometimes Jenny, would always do my nails just the way I wanted. They always give their opinions on what they think would look best on my nails. I stopped coming here because Cody moved to a different salon in Georgia and they hired a bunch of new people. Even though I was worried about someone new doing my nails, I decided to give them a try a couple months ago and they still looked amazing even though Cody or Jenny wasn't doing them. Called 3x asked for a specific price for a specific request. Asked again when I arrived. Waited 20 mins and when she started and I told her what I wanted the price went up $10. She then started to talk to her coworkers in their language about me cause she kept saying what I requested in their language. So rude. She then did a rush job as if she was bothered that she quoted me 2 different prices. I wanted a salon closer to my home but I will drive to South Park for better services. I'm on vacation and needed my manicure refreshed. Found this place on-line. They were able to get me an appt quickly so I headed over. The Salon was clean and they did an amazing job on my nails. However, customer service is lacking. Between coats of polish, my manicurist would pull out her phone. She barely said a word to me. My friend was having a pedicure in the back and said the same about the person doing her nails. She also said the massage chair was challenging to operate and she had to just shut it off because it was so rough. They have some talented people there but they appear to need some training in customer service. read more

Bryan and Daisy are so talented! I have had acrylic nails on and off for almost 20 years at Salons in Mint Hill, Matthews, Ballantyne and Lake Norman and they are the best ever! They are so quick but consistently perfect! Perfect thickness and shaping of every nail, every time. And they are service oriented and friendly, unlike Lee Spa down the road. One note to management - my only recommendation is that it seems that you try to stretch the nail polish. I just try not to pick the ones that look thinned so it has not been an issue for me. read more
