Needed a pedi & mani. Pedi was alright/good. Waited till after my pedi to even start my nails. Once they said they were finished I was so annoyed bc I had been like for over 3 hours I just wanted to leave. I then really look at my nails & realize they didn't even put the shiny top coat on one of my hands. So half my nails are Matt from the SNS & the other hand is shiny...... my thumbs where not even close to even. Half of them are chunky, also a bunch of fuzzy black shit is stuck on 4 fingers. Like I'm soo confused how they thought my nails where even close to being acceptable. I then go back in to show them my nails to atleast get the top coat on & I didn't even get a sorry!!!! Not one!!! So so place to go. I'm new to Huntersville and I picked a placed that was open and had good reviews on Yelp. Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. I was in and out with a classic shellac mani and pedi within an hour, which always takes at least 1.5 hours anywhere else. The attention to detail is less than par. The colors you are allowed to choose from don't match the bottles they bring you. The customer service and personalities are dull. For the price, I won't be back... NOT WORTH IT! read more

I usually go to Nails Design and I LOVE them, but they were so busy today and my friend and I couldn't get in with them. We decided to try this place, both of us wanting pedicures and manicures with SNS-I always specify that so my cuticles get taken care of. The girl doing my nails didn't speak to me once during the visit-but she was busy FaceTiming the entire time. Headphones in and all. Maybe that's why she cut one of the cuticles on my toes. She never asked what kind of pedicure I wanted, but did pull my hands and feet around. The nicest thing I can say about this visit is that I really like the color I picked out. At the end of my SNS, she put the clear topcoat on and walked off without a word....meanwhile my friends manicure continued. Also never touched my cuticles, so they're still just as busted as they are when I went in. But she was kind enough to leave bright pink SNS powder stains and smudges all around my fingers. We paid and I barely tipped although I really didn't want to. When we got outside my friend said that the guy doing her manicure kept jerking her hands around, and as we compared toes, she realized he put a color on there that was not what she picked out. So I just got a mani/pedi today. Really nice place but I was just racially profiled. Because I'm African American I was the only one asked to pay before getting my nails polished. I watched two other patrons pay after there services was completed, after there nails was done and one other patron after I was packing up to leave. Me being the only Black patron was asked to pay before my nails was painted as if my card would be declined. First visit for a classic pedicure. Would never use this salon again. I used a gift card I received for Mother's Day. I read the reviews which were mixed--that's always the first red flag but since I had a gift card I just hoped for the best. I was not offered a beverage as they advertise. The nail color was pretty but did not come close to matching the one I had selected from their color wheel. I selected a nude shade and ended up with shell pink. A sloppy job all the way around every nail cuticle. It looks so bad. And she even forgot to paint a pinky toenail. Had to point that out. Do yourself a favor and give some consideration to the negative reviews. They're spot on. I think the positive reviews were just darned lucky. If a business is good it will have consistently good reviews. This salon has up and down reviews. The salon staff did not speak English. The entire time I was there they spoke in their native language. With the exception of an English word here and there, they may as well been whispering to one another in front of your face. We didn't have appointments so we waited a few minutes for our turn as a group of 3. Pretty big space that holds a lot of pedi chairs even several Hell Kitty ones for your little one(s). You're greeted once you enter and they have you sign in. Instead of grabbing your designer nail color bottle you have nail color palettes to look over and pick out. Many options for the pedicure that fits your time and budget ranging from $22 for the $50 Pedi Express to Pedi Spa Renew-U. All the Pedi-chairs are deluxe heated massage chairs and you're asked by every staff member if you'd like a drink. So you don't have to worry about getting dehydrated during your 30 minute appointed.
