No refreshments were offered, no hot towel or even a hand massage. There was nothing to justify the pricing. I got SNS powder and nail tips. The prices aren't posted anywhere, but it costs $55.00. The parking lot was a bit crowded. They share with a large Publix Supermarket and at least four other small businesses. It's a full service salon that offers nail and pedicure services, waxing as well as eye lash extensions. If you have more money than time this is the place for you. Sixty dollars later.... According to my previous reviews I have been a loyal customer but unfortunately no longer. I've always loved the service from the nail techs as well as the owner, Jason. For this appointment, I scheduled in advance in order to get my favorite nail tech. I learned my lesson before when I walked in and had to go with another nail tech because she wasn't available. While I waited for her, Jason offered to take my nails which he did, no problem. After finishing he placed a sheet of paper in front of me filled with handwritten names and phone numbers. He pointed to my name and asked if that was me. I happily replied yes when I recognized my phone number. He then proceeded to tell me that I had written a bad review and I needed to take it down. Taken aback I asked him to repeat it. He did. I informed him that my review honestly captured my experience and I was happy to update it. I asked him if he addressed my concerns. Rather than acknowledging my concerns or even apologizing, he continued to state that I needed to take my review down. At this point I felt bullied because I realized that this was likely something he has done before which means that the reviews are not an honest reflection of people's experiences. He went on to tell me that I could not be serviced unless I took the review down. I asked how much I owed him for taking my nails off and promptly paid him cash. I then walked out and headed to the new nail salon that just opened by my house. I hadn't gone there yet because I was willing to drive the 30 minutes to come here. This was my last trip to Concord Nail Spa. I'm very disappointed and shocked to learn that Jason, the owner bullies people into writing the reviews that he wants. He said that I should have come to him first and I actually agree with him. Had he responded to my concerns I would have done an update acknowledging that. Instead, I'm documenting this experience.

I got a full set of acrylics - medium almond w/gel polish. My nails started lifting and popping off a week after getting them done. I've never had my nails come off that quickly. I went to get one of the popped off ones fixed. The male nail tech was rude. He got upset because I didn't remember the number and asked for a book to see. Then he didn't match the shape. When I asked him to fix it, he got an attitude. My nails were pointy almond and he made it round almond. I also had to tell him to make it the same length as the other ones. Another attitude.

Went in on the weekend- asked if they could serve patrons in wheelchairs, and if not it would be ok…read moreas we still had a walker and the customer wasn't wheelchair bound. They indicated they could not do the wheelchair as neither wheelchair specialist on staff was working that Sunday. I said that's ok. Everyone came in and we asked if it would still be ok to get a regular pedicure. Was told yes with a 30-40 minute wait. That was fine, so we sat down and i went to get the walker while they waited. Upon returning, was told that they could no longer serve us as they could not serve those in wheelchairs today. I said we could do the regular one still, as i had already indicated, but they said "you don't know what it's like" and that it was for safety reasons. When asking why they gave us a time if they couldn't serve, they explained since the owner wasn't there it was harder to make decisions. I definitely understand the safety aspect certainly, or their liability concerns, but the frustration was 2 fold both from their inability to serve someone in a wheelchair, and further, the poor communication. I also would not want someone to be hurt, though I would not have put someone in jeopardy in that way either, but the situation as a whole was not handled well, and not a place that we will be going back to as we will look to find a place that can better accommodate.
