Staff is very unprofessional. They tell you "I'm not doing your nails the next time " due to them not understanding what nail style you request (even with pictures). The prices don't make sense and they lack customer service. I went into the shop 2 weeks ago and got a full set for $50.00. I come back 2 weeks later and get a fill and was charged $45.00 for a basic fill and my nails didn't look good. I believe they have different prices for different type of skin colors. She made me feel as if I'd known her for years the very first time I met her. Also, she is a talented artist who can free draw any abstract design you want! She's the best! The customer said "I have an appointment" as if that should even be a factor in whether or not the business at least greets people who walk in. Horrible. Got a gel fill and one nail broke before my fill was two weeks old. The color was fading as of day 1 as well, so products used are cheap or they don't put enough on to last the full 3 weeks. And they triple book appointments and take walk ins. It took two hours to get feet and a fill done, and I had to change my dinner plans. Others got wine offered to them, but no one offered me anything. And they did not seem friendly. I'm a bit disappointed because all I asked for was polish and stripes on one finger. I didn't want anything crazy and I wasn't there for that long. The lady who did my nails was clearly uninterested as she didn't speak a single word to me and had her AirPods in. Everything was fine until she went to do my stripes and they just don't even look remotely similar, I can easily paint over them at home so it's not a big deal but still disappointing. I went in with a picture in hand and idea in mind I did my research and read up on all the reviews so I thought sure enough I found a place for me. Nope I will not be back! When I received my pedicure I had to ask for her to cut my cuticles. After my subpar pedicure...they didn't remove the plastic covering the chair they just wiped it down with the same towel used for my pedicure. The plastic covering the bowl was not removed either. Nothing was wiped down or sanitized. To top it off,While getting a NEW full set I asked to have my cuticles removed she said it would be five dollars extra. (Guess Nini has a thing against cutting cuticles) before we even began my full set I showed her the picture of what I wanted she said ok. Then I clearly specified that I wanted the ballerina shape on my nails. I had to correct her over and over on the length and my shape that I just gave up! When it came time to polish she asked to see the photo again and I showed her then she states oh you want Gel glitter and Gel color that will be Five dollars more since it is a design. I said no ma'am it's just a different color I don't want any designs. She said well you want more than one color it is like a design. I chose to just get one color since I had already paid $5 to cut my cuticles! So in total I ended up paying $97.00 for a BASIC pedicure and Basic Set! WONDERFUL. I came to NOA nail spa for my prom nails. I came with two other people each who got manicures and pedicures. I got a regular pedicure and a SNS with tips; the other two I was with got regular pedicures and gel manicures. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. I prefer shorter nails and wanted short sns tips, the product I wanted was very short and my nail tech did a wonderful job continually checking in with me to make sure I was happy with my nails. The name of the salon is misleading posing as the Noa Nail Salon down the road in Edison Square. Upon one visit my cuticles were cut and bleeding and while the lady apologized no other accommodation was offered. Upon another attempt I sent my children for pedicures, ages 10 and 7. They had changed their prices admittedly because of covid to where both my boys were charged adult prices of $28. Their new child price was for 8 and under at $21. I talked them down to at least $21 for both because they were already getting started. So $42. Children elsewhere can be seen as low as $10-$15. Price gouging because of Covid19 is not only a reportable offense but also unethical and immoral. The ONLY reason I even began visiting this place is because they were the only salon location open near me during phase 2. DO yourself a favor and go to Edison Square Noa Nail SALON. Definitely was not disappointed. Coincidentally I ended up getting Mason for my manicure service, tips with SNS and they turned out beautiful. He's extremely gentle, absolutely love the results. I love this nail salon!! It is one of the best I have ever visited. The pedicure is amazing. They put a hot towel around your legs that is absolutely amazing and it feels so good. They also massage your legs and the way they massages it felt so good. I also got a SNS manicure that was out of this world. I have been coming to NOA for over 2 years now. I started coming here when I was living in an apartment down the street. Now I have moved 30 mins away and I still come here. Kelly is my favorite she does my SNS nails so good that they are able to last 4 weeks in between appointments. The pedicure lasts just as long as well. All the technicians are wonderful and they are very talented with their nail designs and they aim to please the customer. As long as I live in NC I will continue to come here. Employees are so sweet. They go above and beyond whenever they are able. The manager John, divides his time managing and doing manis, so if you dont mind your manicure getting paused for phone calls, instructing staff and management tasks, he is very skilled. Other staff work hard to make you enjoy your time there. Wish the tv wasnt on sports or talk shows most of the time but I suppose some customers like those shows.
