According to my previous reviews I have been a loyal customer but unfortunately no longer. I've always loved the service from the nail techs as well as the owner, Jason. For this appointment, I scheduled in advance in order to get my favorite nail tech. I learned my lesson before when I walked in and had to go with another nail tech because she wasn't available. While I waited for her, Jason offered to take my nails which he did, no problem. After finishing he placed a sheet of paper in front of me filled with handwritten names and phone numbers. He pointed to my name and asked if that was me. I happily replied yes when I recognized my phone number. He then proceeded to tell me that I had written a bad review and I needed to take it down. Taken aback I asked him to repeat it. He did. I informed him that my review honestly captured my experience and I was happy to update it. I asked him if he addressed my concerns. Rather than acknowledging my concerns or even apologizing, he continued to state that I needed to take my review down. At this point I felt bullied because I realized that this was likely something he has done before which means that the reviews are not an honest reflection of people's experiences. He went on to tell me that I could not be serviced unless I took the review down. I asked how much I owed him for taking my nails off and promptly paid him cash. I then walked out and headed to the new nail salon that just opened by my house. I hadn't gone there yet because I was willing to drive the 30 minutes to come here. This was my last trip to Concord Nail Spa. I'm very disappointed and shocked to learn that Jason, the owner bullies people into writing the reviews that he wants. He said that I should have come to him first and I actually agree with him. Had he responded to my concerns I would have done an update acknowledging that. Instead, I'm documenting this experience.

I went to get one of the popped off ones fixed. The male nail tech was rude. He got upset because I didn't remember the number and asked for a book to see. Then he didn't match the shape. The person that did my service did not speak English and this kind of took away from my experience, she was so sweet but we had no way of communicating with each other, she had to pull one of the other techs over to translate. I've never experienced this before, so for me it was a bit frustrating even though she was so nice and did a great job. Because of the language barrier I was unable to get a real time cost estimate of the extra fees and was just taken a back at my total. And because service aren't itemized on the receipt, I couldn't really tell what cost what outside of the basic service like my pedicure. Anyway, service was great but I think I would prefer to be serviced by someone I can speak to, so there is a clear understanding of what I am asking to be done and what costs if any would be associated with it. Because of this, the nails on my right hand look narrower than my left hand. Can't tell unless you actually put my hands together but it is visible when doing so and it didn't give me that feel that they were attuned with their client. I don't think it's even healthy to soak your hands in chemicals that long and I've never had anyone soak off sns. By 7:20p I'm out the bitch! You knew you had no capacity when I called in the first place. You should never make a customer wait that long. It was an inefficient use of my time and a poor experience. I'll NEVER go back! The reviews must be bullshit or they go all out for customers they've already established relationships with.... I think that thats enough to say that I will not return and that you not only lost me, but also the rest of my family. The product itself strengthened, my nails and within two weeks they had been strong enough to grow out. And for the first time ever, the a full two weeks without a single chip!
