I love this nail salon. I have always had good customer service and chats while getting my nails done. The wait is long if you don't have an appointment but it's because they are always busy! I'm pretty sure i would know if a piece of my eyebrow was missing lol . when i brought the issue to the waxed she acted as if it was my fault and was very rude and never apologized once about her mistake ... she told me to just "fill it in" like what ?!? and that's not even the end of the story ... after going back and forth with her about RUINING my eyebrows she then proceeds to lie about not being able to give me my money back and walked away from me mid conversation. I would give all 5 stars because I think service by Jen is wonderful. Jen is true professional. She is precise, accurate and kind and she is doing amazing job in pedicure and manicure. I highly recommend her. The reason I gave 4 not 5 stars because customer service of this nail place could be better. Even if you'll make an appointment they are always 15-20 min late. Which is big deal for me as I have kids home and limited time to treat myself. Otherwise good place to come to do your pedicure or manicure. read more

Cons: Technician workspace not very clean. Seems the male technician just got done taking his smoke break and never washed his hands. Being I am a non smoker, the smell was quite bothersome and personally, I just feel it unprofessional and inconsiderate and lazy. If someone is touching my hands, I want their hands to be clean. Pros: Male tech was fast and gave me exactly what I wanted. There are some nails that could have used more evening out so it wouldn't be lopsided (not terribly noticeable, but noticeable) otherwise, I was in and out I less than an hour. He is definitely artistic with his designs and I love my nails! I have been to places that were cleaner, yes, and more professional yes... but if you are in the business of nails and you don't know how to do nice nail designs or charge high prices .... then to me it is not worth the investment. This place definitely needs some cleaning and tidying up yes, but they know what they are doing when it comes to nails! Will be back! read more

They are very good at nails & pedicures. They are very busy & you never know what type of vibe to expect once inside. They have free wifi. Code posted on the wall so you don't have to ask. They offer beverages such as water, soda, and wine but you have to ask for it because they won't offer it to you if there is a bad vibe in the nail shop that particular day. The prices are usually reasonable however if you don't ask how much everything is such as a "cut down" or a color change you can be blindsided by extra fees upon checkout. read more

I have been getting my done at this location from May-September. Each time I went the work done was quality, BUT the customer service was horrible when the owners were not on site. The last straw was when the technician told me, "You don't have to come back." This was is response to me not positioning my thumb to her liking under the light. I've been in Charlotte for the 6years and I generally maintain my nails on my own. Simply because it's hard to find a salon that puts the same effort into natural nails as they do with gel etc. I've consistently used NV Nails over the past few years, going to the salon every other month or so to get my cuticle cuts etc and I was always pleased. During my last few visits my view of their services has changed. I only get a mani and pedi on my natural nails and the last few times I felt very rushed and the end result of my service looks rushed as well. I visited on yesterday and got a polish change on my toes and a manicure. The pictures attached are only after one day. The paint job was done her sloppy and needless to say I'll start my search of a new salon. I'm very disappointed seeing as though this use to always be my go to salon and i use to love how they treated my nails. But this time, on a strict budget I called ahead and asked "how much is an acrylic full set with gel polish" "$35". I got exactly that. The guy who did my nails told me it was $45 when I paid. Then when I brought the conversation up he even admitted to being the one on the phone.. but kept saying that was for gel and I got gel and gel. I told him I don't know what you mean but okay. Further, here is a literal picture from their website with the consistent phone price. (Idk if it will let me attach the picture with my post) My budget was $45 to begin with because I always tip 25+% if they're good. So end of the day he screwed himself out of the tip but just make sure you know how much you're paying before hand when going here. Our service began immediately after we selected colors. The staff members were friendly but mine wasn't quite as versed in English. I had been coming here for about 6 years!!! Back when Phí was here and there has not been anyone like her since she quit. And also recommended my sisters and mom they drive about an hour away just to come to this salon. Today 9/17/21, Jennifer did my pedicure and when she got done I did not feel the fresh cleanness on my feet like I normally feel, this time I just felt my feet damp in water and lotion on them. The paint was horrible all over my cuticles and sooo uneven. I ask if she could get the Owner over and I told the owner that I disliked her work and her paint job. I was not being rude because that was not my attention I hardly ever complain where ever I go but if I'm paying $50 I'm expecting a $50 job correctly done!!!!! So the owner tells me what's wrong and I told her how I did not like the nail technician's job and all she said was they looked fine. I think priority is the satisfaction of the costumers because we are also business owners as well, and if someone tells us they dislike the quality of the work we would do anything to solve the situation without having to tell them they would need to pay twice!!!! read more

I got my nails done here as it look like a very professional place In my opinion, went in and boy was I wrong. less than a week my gel nails popped off without me even noticing it. I happened to look at my hand and the nail was gone. I was surprised, I lost 2 nails and one was coming up in less than a week. I went back thinking that they would make good on it. The man there told me it was my fault and they couldn't help me. Because if he did he'd have to do it for everybody. My experience was horrible. I arrived on a Friday evening and was able to sit with a nail tech within 15 minutes. I am not sure of the nail techs name but he sat at the second station on the right. I requested a fill in with Gel Polish and I'm not satisfied! My nails have already chipped, and the acrylic technique is poor. Today I decided to go back to the salon to have my nails repaired. The nail tech that did my nails yesterday was very rude to me, after asking him how long the wait time was. He belligerently screamed at me "DON'T COME BACK LATE" in front of other customers. I thought that was very unprofessional and decided I did not want to be associated with him or a business that operates like that. I left and will never return! They're friendly, you're seated incredibly fast (even on the weekends), and you're never going to be disappointed! Their selection for gel polish is HUGE. They always give you exactly what you need and more. Working in a restaurant is hard on my hands and requires me to have short nails and this place is my saving grace. Someone finally asked me what I wanted and told me to go back to a pedi chair. No one in the pedicure section told me where to sit so I just picked a chair. Some boy filled my bowl up and I just sat there waiting for someone, anyone to assist me. After about 30 minutes I just got up and left. Again, no one said anything. No one stopped me to help me or get me to stay. They need to do something about their lack of customer service. I will not be coming back and I will not refer anyone to this salon. read more

One of the better nail experiences I have had. I have very short nail beds and ALWAYS leave nail salons with bleeding fingers from the drills they use because they're not paying attention to what's nail or skin. Tom did my nails and didn't nick me once! He did the coffin shape perfectly and made sure throughout the process that I liked what he was doing. They're not too thick and he got the perfect length. Only thing that sucked was I waited over an hour to be serviced - but a technician did tell me it would be a 40 minute wait so I wasn't too upset. I will wait an hour again if need be because I like the quality of service. Also, it seemed out of the 6 techs that were in there only 2 of them were able to do acrylic/gel so that's probably why the wait time is above average. Today was my last blow with this nail salon. Never again. I had a successful run here a twice and have never been able to have the same experience since. The last time I got my nails done a little under two weeks ago I asked for a simple design. It was literally a dot in the middle of my nails. Literally people. A dot! Like a drop of color. This nail tech could not do it to save her life. Like you do French manicures...but you can just drop a dot on my nails? Make this make sense please. And she kept having to redo it. OH, AND she had the nerve to charge me for HER mistakes. I did not want to cause a scene at the front desk while checking out bc let's be honest, nail shops are a fish bowl. So I said I was not paying for her mistakes, that's not fair to charge the customer extra. She said said that I am free to post about it on Facebook. Goodbye lady. Cute little place with really nice employees but my burgundy matte didn't look matte AT ALL. I left being told that it will look "more matte" once times goes by BUT, that was a lie my friends...a lie. I walked in for mani and pedi and they put me in the pedi spa for over 1/2 hour with no service so I walked out after drying my shriveled up feet. Their excuse was the 5+ people that arrived after me were being serviced first because they had an appointment yet they never told me they didn't have the capacity to serve me. Soooo I have a story to tell y'all about this place. So I got my nails done here almost a week ago and ALL of the tips popped off before a week even passed. I got coffin shaped medium length acrylics. Don't get me wrong they were very beautiful and I will admit that I don't have regular sized hands they are a bit bigger than most women and I am a bit rougher than most but I made sure I was really careful with my hands because I JUST got my nails done. No matter what I did though, my nails would pop off. I would open a door, cabinet or breath and my nail would pop off. I called and told them what happened to my nails and they told me to come in and they would look and see what to do with them. So today, next Thursday, I went back to the place and told them what happened. They told me if I wanted to get them redone it would cost me MORE. I just told them I wanted to soak them off. I was not about to spend more money to get my nails done when I just got them done. I wasted $40 +$7 tip at this place. I would not recommend this place for anybody with hands like me. Also the receptionist had a whatever attitude towards me. You would expect a business to treat all of their customers the same because you never know who's nails you're doing. read more
