I have a normal salon I use, but this one happened to be close by so I decided to try a new nail tech. At first, great experience. I was immediately seen and had one person working on my toes and another my nails. Toes were finished, all I had done was a gel polish change, I sat to have my nails finished- I was having sns powder. This is where my complaint starts. The man doing my nails spoke the entire time to the woman working next to him, and I pick up they're talking about me. I ask him what they're talking about, and he told me whoever did my nails prior did a bad job. Then proceeded to talk to his coworker, as they laugh and continue to look at me. This didn't really matter, i just felt uncomfortable. He seemingly finished my nails, and for someone who told me my nails that I came in with were poorly done, I expected his work to be good some nails were oval, some were square. I had to ask him to shape again. Going to leave, worst part of the experience and I believe I was ripped off. I've been getting nails done for years. I didnt get manicure or pedicure, all I got was a polish change on toes with gel, and sns. He charged me 90 for those services. I asked to break it down, he could not- or perhaps choose not to. Proceeded to ask how much to tip, still in shock I said $5, then his reply was ok so five for me and five for the other helper. Obv tipping is important. but to be overcharged without explanation, and the in a sense pressured to tip more? I paid $100 for sns and gel polish. That is highly overpriced, if that is their true prices- but again I don't believe they are. I might add it's not a luxury spa- sure in charlotte of somewhere where the atmosphere is well kept and a pleasant experience I wouldn't have questioned anything. This is not that, so again prices do not match value. I will never go back. And I will openly share my experience with anyone who asks or shares they go there. It's no so much what happened, but the feelings I left with. I was uncomfortable during the apt and left feeling/knowing I was taken advantage of. Hope this helps! read more

Nail palace is amazing! My boyfriend and I went and got pedicures for a little date day. The employees are so so sweet and funny. They took their time and didn't try to rush anything!!!! They offered us drinks as soon and we sat down. Customer service is top tier! Tell me you don't want to do nails without telling me you want to do them. I got my nails done by a nail tech named MIKE. He did a horrible job. I was recommended by my niece who is a REGULAR at this salon. I sat down at booth three and got a SNS powder dip number 89 which is pumpkin spice with tips. Mike didn't even shape up my real nails so they can grow out to the same length when I get them redone again. Secondly, after he applied the SNS powder he didn't even take his time to buff my nails and they look all ridged and bumpy. The audacity to keep having this guy to work there who looks like he is miserable being there and you can tell through his work. Horrific!!! I do not recommend this salon. On top of that I gave him an 8 dollar tip on top of this 45 dollar service. read more

I definitely should've read the reviews instead of choosing this place based on location. While I was seated quickly without an appointment, that's the only good thing I can say about my experience. The man who did the pedicure was polite but provided the most mediocre pedicure ever. And so inconsistent. He up sold me on a more expensive service, citing my callouses, but spent zero time with buffing them down. He did not work on my equally rough heels, either. He spent more time removing my old polish than he did on anything else. When trimming my cuticles - well, never mind. He didn't do that, either. He ran the dremel over my big toenails and called it good. The leg "massage" was so weird. He did one motion on one leg and something completely different on the other. Same with the foot. On my left foot he hyper-focused on the outside of my foot and barely touched the rest of it. On the right foot - he used so much force and speed jerking back and forth ... there are no words. When he painted my toenails, all three coats, he would tuck my 4th toe under his hand, then "touch up" the paint he had just mussed. The paint job looks like something a kindergartener did. It literally ranks in the top three of worst pedicures I've ever had. read more

I called up here to see if they were open however they were closing in less than an hour. The lady over the phone was very accommodating and told me that I still could come. When I arrived they were expecting me. I told her that I needed a full set and pedicure. Tim, began my pedicure while the other two ladies removed my old set of nails & began my new acrylic set. The customer service was excellent I was offered wine during my visit, and the outcome was beautiful. The shop is located next to Sogo's Japanese restaurant on Branchview Drive in Concord. Everyone was wearing PPE and the shop also sells mask I purchased 2 masks and I really like them because they are large enough and very thick so I feel protected. I would definitely be back to get my fill and a pedicure at this nail Palace. read more

I just left the shop getting a pedicure & the tech has not stopped looking at, texting on or even talking on her phone. She rushed the whole thing, was rough with pushing back my cuticles & for a "deluxe" pedicure the scrub was very brief as was the massage. She rushed the polish & spent as much time wiping excess from my big toes as she did putting polish on. There were no other customers waiting, so no need to rush the service. It was so rushed & I relaxing that I didn't even tip. And I always tip generously. Even though this is convenient to my house, I won't be back. read more

I've never not liked a pedicure before but this one was bad. I still has callus on the bottom of my feet and sharp edges on most of my toes.

I came to this salon this past Saturday with my sister and a friend. The people in the salon were very friendly and sociable, however the job that was done was less than mediocre. I got SNS done and instead of using the SNS top coat, I had a gel top coat put on... I know this is the cheap way out, but my nails started peeling on SUNDAY when they were just done on Saturday. Not only that, my nails are all lifting from the cuticle. On Sunday they were already at the point that that they were getting caught in my hair!! I will not go back and it was definitely a waste of $45 as they are going to have to be done in the next couple of days! read more

It's sad that this place used to be my go to spot. Everyone was friendly and I never had a problem with my services... until now. I recently (last week) had my nails done for my birthday. I typically only get gel manis but I went with a full set and a gel polish for the occasion. The fellow that did my nails was TERRIBLE. I told them I would prefer to have my pedi first that way it had plenty of time to dry (I also had a friend with me getting the same exact services and this way we could interact during our time at the salon) instead I was scoffed at and rushed to a chair. He huffed and puffed the entire time with barely any contact. He rushed through the application of my nails and I complained 3 times about one of the nails not fitting properly and he proceeded with the rest of the process anyway. I was immediately less than thrilled and upset with how my nails looked however since he had rushed through my nail beds were too sore to endure anymore trauma for that day. I proceeded to make my way back to the salon the day of my birthday (2 days later) to complain about my nails and have them fix it. To my surprise they had the same fellow do my nails... AGAIN. Guess what? Same result. He also didn't even take all of the polish off, and he just repainted over the old polish. So I have this extremely thick layer of paint on my nails and tips that don't even fit my fingers. $64 down the drain. I won't be back. read more

If you want a gel manicure, this place does a great job. However, if you want an SNS manicure, do not waste your money. I got SNS on Friday, 2 nails popped off (whole) Saturday night, went back Monday to have my lady fix them, which she did for free, and then 2 other nails popped off on Tuesday night. I was so fed up that I ended up just taking them all off and they were too easy to remove to be SNS. Debbie does a great manicure period. I just think the brand of powder they use for the SNS isn't the best quality. read more

I went in on Thursday to have my SNS removed, when it was removed the lady helping me let me know she would not have time to reapply the SNS before I needed to leave so we did gel instead. Totally fine, 2 days later (Saturday) the gel was peeling off of my nails so I returned to the salon to have my SNS reapplied (and paid an additional $35). Today is Wednesday.. my SNS has only been on my nails for 5 days. Three of my nails are broken, and my nail is separating from the SNS on three of my other fingers. Do yourself a favor and have your nails done elsewhere. This was a total waste of money, and now I will have to let my natural nails grow back out before going back to SNS again.. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Extremely unprofessional, UNSANITARY, and the workers are very rude. A manager is supposed to be understanding and willing to help his paying customers, but he rushed my service and did a bad job. When I would build the courage to speak up about something that wasn't right he would complain, and made me be completely unhappy with my whole experience. Besides getting a full set, I was going to get a pedicure but changed my mind when the employee broke the plastic cover in the tub and little white this started floating around. IT WAS NASTY!!! This place has one really great (older) technician that does a great pedicure. But don't ask for anything else. Eye got my eyebrows done and they were HORRIBLE. They gave me a $5 coupon to make up for it. (ridiculous, i know). Then I gave them another chance and got a pedicure and gel polish. The pedicure is always great but my feet go numb because the lady takes soooooo long doing the white tips. But they turn out great! Buuuuuut, the gel polish was terrible. The nail tech was rushing. She cut my nails really short after I asked her not to. I had multiple lines from the white tips. She didn't paint all the way to the ends. She told me that she couldn't fix it because she didn't have time. I didn't go back but just wanted to save anyone the trouble of going here. Here are pictures of my nails. If you want to get a facial Kim does an amazing job and includes a nice massage with it. The very worst experience I've ever had. I left with polish (red) all over the skin around my toes, nails were crooked. I had to leave there after being there two and a half hours, and go to another salon for a complete do over. Will never go back. Very rude technicians. I will NEVER revisit this nail salon. This salon is Very unprofessional. Nobody knows what they're doing in here except for pamela, maria, and Jessica. Kim, and Mike are EXTREMELY RUDE and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! i have been here multiple times and the pat 3 times were HORRIBLE! They are VERY unorganized, & have HORRIBLE customer service. I visited last week ...Pamela did my pedicure and she was AMAZING! Mike did my nails and was very nice in the beginning.... I asked for medium coffin shaped nails. He did very square nails which i wasn't gonna make a big deal about. once my nails got painted and I moved to the pedicure chair i noticed my nails were VERY VERY uneven, & had lumps in them like they weren't buffed out correctly...I approached Mike privately and he told me it would be a quick fix. I sat down AGAIN in his chair for him to fix them and once he started looking at them he told me he'd have to REDO the whole process. Considering i already had been there for 2 hours I did not have time to sit there for another hour. He told me not to worry about it to come back Monday and he would fix them. When i got to the cashier he wanted to charge me for my nails instead of just waiting until Monday. I didn't fill like that was fair for me to walk out of the salon very unhappy and have to go through the rest of the weekend with horrific looking nails. He then got extremely upset and very rude with me infront of his staff, and customers and tried to argue with me like i was the one in the wrong. He then tried to blame it on the color being red for showing all the lumps and uneven of my nails. i Great customer service would have been very apologetic and told me just to wait until monday to GUARANTEE me back as a customer and then have me pay for the services. Instead he lost a good loyal customer. I never revisited on monday due to how i was treated that day. It's only been a week and my nails are already lifting.
