Local, made in San Diego CA, top qualify, amazing balance and superior customer service! This location is easy to find, has a great showroom with nicely displayed knives so you can physically see the craftsmanship added to each and every piece. Lots of parking and since it's an end unit you can park either in the lot or the street and entering the showroom is easy. Ordering online is simple and secure. Online is where you will find their full lineup of knives, merch, blade maintenance items etc. I stopped by as I wanted to see the operation. These are not rebranded mass produced knives, each piece is hand crafted and made by former US military members and their supporters right here in El Cajon. Superiorly shaped, sharp with clean edges, just the right weight and balance means long lasting tools. These are outstanding must haves for EDC, hunting, first responders, military, police, firefighters, linemen etc! Check 'em out.

My girlfriend purchased a Toor knife for me and it has become one of my most prized possessions. After she surprised me with it, she told me the excruciating depths she dove to compare and scrutinize custom knife brands before she decided that Toor was the right company and I'm glad she went with them. It's a great quality tool. I'd buy a few more if I could (and I probably will as soon as I can think of a good enough excuse)

Made in the USA. Lifetime warranty. Customer service that exceeds expectations. When's the last…read moretime you experienced that trifecta? Mine was on Friday, when I stopped by NalPak Group's HQ with an early generation of its vaunted Tuffpak 1050 Gun Case -- in Hunter Green. (Fortunately for me, I live a little over a mile from the shop -- which, for a knife and flashlight guy, is kinda dangerous to the wallet.) These cases are built like Fort Knox, and can carry multiple long guns or, with the right golf bag, a set of golf clubs. The only thing I didn't like about this early-gen case was the top handle, which laid flat on the top and wasn't comfortable to pull the case with for long distances. Fortunately, NalPak improved the case over the years, and the upgrade I most wanted was the new cushioned handle with more room for my hand to pull the case with ease. When I brought the case into the store for the handle, the friendly Office Manager, Annette, who also oversees the retail store, called a gentleman from the back, who looked over the vintage Tuffpak, asked what I needed -- the new-style handle -- and offered to install new wheels (softer roller-blade style -- a definite upgrade), too. After a short wait, my case emerged with the new handle, new wheels, an added internal hook and accessory bag (included on newer models) and a new strap and buckle. I asked what the charge was, and they said zero! How do you top that customer service? It's great to have such an amazing company headquartered right here in my hometown of El Cajon, California. Thanks, NalPak. You're the best!

This is long overdue (1 year?) but I just want to acknowledge how incredibly knowledgeable and…read morehelpful the "older" man working in the shoe section was as I was trying to choose shoes for a long upcoming trek. Because of him and the cashiers working at the time (who helped me with a return and a discount coupon and were very patient) I am giving this location 5 stars. This was a second visit. I only came back to the store as I had a return. My first experience was miserable. The "younger" male at the shoe area was very unhelpful, part of why I ended up with the wrong type of shoes. What was more distressful for me, though, was how he treated a very elderly gentleman who had trouble walking and putting shoes on and off. It was obviously an effort for this veteran to get into the store from his car, much less to the back of the store. (BTW, he did not appear homeless/disheveled/dirty. The clerk was quite dismissive of this man who was obviously in very very poor physical shape. I ended up helping him try shoes on (the clerk disappeared), and made suggestions the clerk should've been making for shoes that were easier to put on and walk in. Anyway, the clerk didn't seem to care about his job or the customers. I don't recall any other noticeable interactions with other staff. I had planned a 1 star rating but never got around to it. Then, my next visit I met the older clerk/manager? who was attentive, helpful, patient and everything the first clerk wasn't. So that made up for it for me. HE would've been kind to the elderly gentleman. And the rest of the staff was lovely. So I decided on 4 stars. I just hope the district managers talk to staff about kindness to all, especially for those who need it most.

They had both in stock, so located them was quick and easy, not to mention having my size. Both pairs were very affordable. The young lady at the register was very cool and helpful. The store was very well stocked and organized. They offer a good amount of parking at this location and a very good selection of shoes.
